(Flashback #4-Valentine's Day during your Sophmore year of highschool)

Everyone around school all had either chocolate or a love letter to give or receive..meanwhile you who felt like lost in this environment full of fluff headed to library since your semester finals were about to come up and all you could think about was getting into your dream college.

In the library you couldn't help but wonder what this feeling of love truly felt like, although you hated the thought of false hope or worrying about whether your crush would feel the same way. So you headed to the romance section grabbing the first book that caught your eye that had the title of "True Love" written on it you then sat down on one of the desks and started reading until due to the 4hrs of sleep everyday you couldn't help but dose off even after mentally slapping yourself, until you finally reached your dreamland

(In your dreams)

You were about to put the book back on the shelf to where it originally was placed, when suddenly you felt a pair of arms around your waist and a head rest on your shoulder you then turned around to see Jongdae not letting go.

(You)-Yah! Kim Jongdae what are you doing i can't move

Jongdae then turned you around to face him and put the book back on the shelf for you to then slowly walk closer to you without saying a word

(You)-What's wrong with you? you said trying to walk away but he pulled your arm pushing you lightly toward the book shelf, as he then leaned against the book shelf bringing his face closer to yours

(You)-Yah! stop! (pushes him away) we can't do this we're just friends remember?

(Jongdae)-Shh! i've always wanted to do this (he says as he gently cupped your face in his warm hands while he brought your face closer to his..and as you two were just about to kiss (as you could feel your heart beating out of your chest knowing this wasn't right but yet you wanted it to happen)...you then felt someone tap you on the shoulder waking you up

(Back to reality)

(Jongdae)-Yah did you not sleep again?

(wakes up trying to figure out whether this was still your dream or reality since the dream felt so real to you)

(Jongdae)-You're cold aren't you come here (he says as he takes his jacket off and puts it on you since the library was known for being one of the coldest areas of the school)

(You)-(gives him a weird look and starts to blush knowing that you dreamt about you and him almost kissing)

(Jongdae)-(touches your forehead) you don't have a cold how come your cheeks are so red? is something wrong?

(You)-(moves away from his touch and makes an excuse to get away from him)-uhh Jongdae i just remembered that i forgot something in the classroom see you tmrw then (you said as you stuffed your books into your backpack and ran out the library leaving him to be dumfounded)

That night

You couldn't fall asleep knowing that once you were close your eyes that moment of kissing your bestfriend Jongdae would come back to you.."but why didn't it grose you out?"  you asked yourself as if the kiss was meant to happen between you two

You finally knew what the phrase "to fall in love with your bestfriend" meant but you knew this wasn't the right thing to do

All these feelings inside made you feel uncomfortable since these were all new to you but one thing you knew was that "Jongdae and you are just friends and that's how it's going to be"

Suddenly you received a call from no other than Jongdae (that said jongjong on your phone)

You then answered the phone without saying anything

(Jongdae)-Hello you there? I called you because i was worried everything's ok right? I mean since you've been keeping a distance from me lately~ is there something i did wrong?

(you then stopped him as he continued to ramble on)

(You)-Jongdae-ah it's nothing and it's not your fault it's mine, i just have been going through something's emotionally but i'm ok now, thanks for checking up on me~

(Jongdae)-Don't hide from me ok? I worry to much about you, if you're going through something shouldn't you at least let me know?

(You)-Your right you've always been there for me and i've never taken advantage of that i'm sorry

(Jongdae)-Open you're front door (he said hanging up the phone)

(you then opened your front door to see Jongdae holding a giant teddy bear and some chocolates)

(You)-Shouldn't you give this to..oh idk Wendy?

(Jongdae)-Is that your way of saying thanks Jongdae-ah you're welcome to come in? cuz i'll take that as a yes (he says before he heads to your couch)

(You)-(your thoughts: yeah there's no way i was into him 3mins ago)-why are you here at this late hour?

(Jongdae)-It's valentine's day and i knew your parents weren't home and thought you'd be lonely so as a friend i brought you the traditions of Valentine's day (he said as he indicated you to sit down next to him while holding a movie called "The Vow")

(You)-Seriously you said you absolutely despised that movie and said you hated romantic movies

(Jongdae)-Well why not give it a chance, since i know you've wanted to watch it~

(You)-You've remembered that all this time? i said that over 2years ago^^

(Jongdae)-I'll go make the popcorn then i'm so hungry!!!

(You)-Don't burn anything! (you said running to kitchen with him as you couldn't help but smile at his silliness)

While watching the movie~

(You guys were about halfway through the movie and had tissues all over the couch and turned to see sleeping on your shoulder)

(Your thoughts-I knew you were going to fall asleep) as you then wrapped a blanket around him

The movie soon ended and you had to clean up the tables from Jongdae eating almost everything in your kitchen, as if no one feeds him~

You then had to wake him up sooner or later as you ended up just staring at him, you then proceded to tapping his shoulder to see his eyes open

(Jongdae)-The movie's over already? that's too bad

(You)-Uh huh yea i knew you were going to fall asleep since you hate romance movies

(Jongdae)-I enjoyed it knowing that you enjoyed it~

(You)-Yeah well i cried alot (you said noticing how puffed up your eyes had been), you should head home now then

(Jongdae)-Not so fast i came here for two reasons tonight, one was to cheer you up, and the other was to take care of you since your parents even told me to beforehand before they left for their business trip, since a girl should never be alone at night

(You)-Well sorry but i can take care of myself, sorry if my parent's have been bothering you

(Jongdae)-I don't mind since they treat me as if i'm part of the family as well

(You)-Something's bothering you isn't it? Since you're not the type to come over at 12am

(Jongdae)-Would you think it was a lie if i told you i came here to just see you, i mean you're always here for me but i feel like recently it's been bothering me how our relationship as friends hasn't progressed as the way it's been when we were younger i feel like your hiding something from me am i wrong?

(And this is the moment you regret not telling him your true feelings when you had the chance, since you yourself were still confused about your own)

(You)-What do you mean? i've never lied to you in the past have i?

(Jongdae)-Well that's a relief then, i'll stay until i watch you fall sleep safe and sound just like the way you've always done so lets go upstairs then

Without knowing why he insisted on staying with you (until now) that night you just strangely let him...although most of it was just because you were too tired to kick him out

In your room

(You)-Well i'm in my bed now you can go now since you must be really tired (you said trying to get rid of the awkward silence)

(Jongdae)-Fall asleep first (he said sitting next to your bedside putting a hair away from your face)

And soon enough knowing that no matter how much you told him to leave he wouldn't you fell asleep

Without knowing that he eventually never left until the next morning with him since he wanted to spent his time left in Korea with you as he even happened to leave you a sandwich with a only note that read "take care, i'll miss you"-Kim Jongdae, since he didn't know how to tell you that he'd be gone for who knows how long.

You not knowing what was to come the next day slept peacefully without knowing a thing..but this day will always be unforgettable in your memories since it was the last moment of him you will ever have..for now~
