Love is late (final pt.1)-Your POV

(In the present)-

You now attended Seoul University majoring in language as also going to an music academy for piano which meant your life was pretty busy and packed full of events and assignments everyday~

You were just glad to have your friends still by your side although sometimes you wondered if you and Jongdae were even true friends in the first place but you still had the tiniest hope inside of you that he would come back one day even if it wasn't for you specifically^^

You couldn't help but envy Jimin's relationship with Kai, the way they hugged (especially reminded you of how Jongdae would always give you a comfort hug when you looked like you were having a rough day) as you couldn't help but smile at the thought of him sometimes for his stupid and funny actions.

A couple days later

You were going about your daily school routine of going to the library for resources since you happened to be writing an essay for History class (your worst subject)

As you headed to the find your books you finally found your book but of course it was placed on the highest shelf possible and with you being only 5 foot you could only jump or go on our tip toes. Until you felt a hand on top of yours as you knew the hand was obviously a males who then handed you the book

(You)-Thank you (you said shyly since it's been forever since you talked to a guy...after Jongdae)

(Mystery guy)-Nice to meet you..well i gotta go for now but i'll see you around (he said giving you a cute eye-smile as his friends pulled him away) until he then ran off before you could even ask for his name or so...

You then headed to the librarian to check out the rest of your books as you then had to meet Jimin at Starbucks to grab lunch

@ Starbucks~

(You)-"waiting for Jimin" until you saw a familiar face near the door with Kai..knowing that you'd be third-wheeling which you didn't mind since the three of you were good friends and Jimin and Kai always made sure you wouldn't feel left out, but you couldn't help but feel lonely

Jimin and Kai had then arrived as the three of then catched up

(Kai)-hey so Yumi-ah  i have someone at school who's been wanting to meet you and likes you, why don't we plan a double date then?

(Jimin)-yeah lets go together yumi-ah i mean you've only been staying inside your apartment for who knows how long after you know who left..but i mean isn't it time to move on by now?

you then thought to yourself that you needed to get over your feelings for Jongdae although you secretly were still waiting for the day he'd "come back"

(you)-ok i'll go~

(jimin)-don't worry we'll stay by your side in case something happens

(Kai)-meet us by the cafe by my house on Sunday at 3

On Sunday^^

Although you weren't really into dating at the moment you'd thought that you should at least give the guy who likes you a chance

You decided to go with natural makeup along with a pink laced dress that was perfect for the spring weather and you wore no cardigan since the guy would offer his jacket (at least you hoped)

You then walked towards the cafe when you saw a couple walking pass you on the crosswalk when you suddenly heard the girl say a familiar name "Jongdae oppa"

Although you kept walking you had wanted to turn around at that moment and possibly see the guy's face but you knew that you probably just heard the name wrong and forgot about it afterwards.

as you entered the cafe you saw Kai and Jimin talking to a guy who you had saw at the library yesterday

(Kai)-hey you made it this is Joshua who i've been telling you about

(You)-Hi nice to meet you we've meet at the library the other day right? i'm Yumi as you know

(Joshua)-Yeah i'm glad you remember me what would you like to have? i'll pay he said with an irresistable smile

(You)-Umm i'll have a cookies n cream ice cream thanks

(Joshua)-wow that's my favorite to wanna share?

(You)-Sure you said not wanting to hurt his feelings by saying no

You then finally sat down with Jimin and Kai who were sharing a red-velvet cake

(Jimin)-so??? she asked while elbowing you "what do you think?"

(You)-he's cute but idk him that well yet i'll let you know when the date ends~ you said seeing that he was on his way over carrying the ice cream

(Joshua)-Here he said giving you a spoon

(You)-Thanks you said already feeling the awkwardness in your voice

(Joshua)-So, i heard your having trouble with History according to Kai

(you then kicked kai's leg for him and his mouth that seems to tell everything to everyone)

(Kai)-WHAT WAS THAT FOR?

(You)-your mouth that never shuts up

(Joshua)-No it's fine i was just going to ask you if you wanted to study together sometime since i go to the library quite often as well

(You)-ohh (blushes out of embarrasment)-yeah i would love to should i give you my number then?

(Joshua)-how about i give you my number first and you could text me whenever you're available

(he then took your phone out of your hand as you could feel his fingers brush through yours)

And soon enough you came to know more about him and found quite a lot of similarities between you two which made you more comfortable since you're fairly unable to talk to boys that well or at all.

But he seemed nice and different which made him more interesting and you couldn't wait to see him whenever^^
