(Your POV)-(Last flashback-"A year without him")

It now happened to be Saturday morning as you remembered very clearly of this day, you woke up with a smile for some odd reason (maybe because of the time you spent with Jongdae last night made you realize your true feelings) as you then proceeded downstairs thinking "so he did eventually leave" and headed to the kitchen for a glass of water until you noticed a sandwich that was attached with a small post-it note that read the words:

"Take care, i'll miss you, i'm sorry-Kim Jongdae"

At that moment you couldn't help but think to yourself that he left without telling you when he clearly had the chance to last night!

You simply didn't know what to feel at this moment you called Jimin if she knew anything about him leaving so suddenly

(You)-Jimin-ah did you know about Jongdae leaving?!

(Jimin)-Wait he didn't tell you?! i mean i assumed you knew since he told me he was going to last night! Aish that idiot! but i think he said that he was going to the Incheon airport if you hurry..ugh who am i kidding this isn't some kind of korean drama i'm sorry Yumi-ah i'll apologize instead..should i come over later?

(You)-So he told everyone but me!? i mean he kept insisting on staying but he never mentioned anything about leaving, how could he do this to me i mean does our friendship mean nothing to him? (you said crying)

(Jimin)-Why don't you try to go over to his place..you know just in case he left behind something important..i'll call you when i head over to your place ok?

(You)-Ok please come over later~ i need you today

(Jimin)-I will we seriously need to kill that boy! love you stay strong~

(You then hang up the phone and head to do your daily routine before heading out looking like a raccoon)

(At Jongdae's place)

You knocked on the door with even knowing that no one would answer until you saw a new family open the door of the house to say: "Hi, is this your old house? since there happened to be a box in someone's room" the man said giving you a familiar shoe box for you to reply with "yeah it is thanks" before walking back home

You sat on the couch to then open the box out of curiousity to see that it happened to be Jongdae's letter box that was filled with all of your letters you'd write him every year on Christmas as well as for his Birthday

"how could he forget to take this out of everything" you thought to yourself disappointed as your heart broke into pieces as you read each letter over and over again

You then out of anger tried to dial his number to end up calling him over 20 times until you finally gave up and even deleted his number as you then heard a knock on your front door knowing that Jimin and arrived.

(Opens the door to see Jimin holding two buckets of cookie n cream ice cream for the two of you)

On the couch eating ice cream

(Jimin)-For someone who's never had a boyfriend you're acting like you broke up with someone~

(You)-(laughs)-it's weird huh? although i feel like the promises me and him made are now pointless

(Jimin)-So you now realized your feelings for him?

(You)-I never said that (says trying to avoid that topic again)

(Jimin)-Don't lie, and from the way he went out yesterday to buy you those things and even come over to your place so late in the night..i can tell that he likes you too^^ you two are driving me crazy honestly

(You)-Wait he went out to buy those things for me yesterday..how do you know that?

(Jimin)-He called me at 1am saying something about if you were sick or something and what kind of chocolates you liked, he was strangely more concerned about you then usual.

(You)-I mean he kept insisting on staying when he would usually run home..maybe he just didn't know how to tell me he was going to leave

(Jimin)-And he wanted to spend his last moments in Korea with you...ohh and btw he told me to give you this (she says handing you a total of 7-8 letters as you lost count)

(You)-What are these?

(Jimin)-He gave these to me in a hurry yesterday..im gonna guess and say that they're probably the "letters" he so-called forgot to write to you every year

(You)-Did he happen to say anything when he gave you these? since when i headed over to his place the new owner of the home gave me this box of letter i wrote to him that he forgot to take with him~

(Jimin)-He told me to keep you happy and healthy..gosh you two just absolutely belong together, he should've just taken you with him

(You)-He didn't say when he was going to come back did he?

(Jimin)-(sigh)-no, he said he might but not for a long time..i'm sorry

(You)-Why are you apologizing? it's not your fault he left...

(Jimin)-Ik it's just that i can't handle seeing you like this~

(You)-i'll be fine by tmrw

And sure enough you were until you felt as if there was a missing piece to your life..i mean everything was the same except the fact that you weren't able to see his smile, laugh, when he ruffled your hair, told you were perfect the way you were..the words that would always cheer up...why did he just leave without me? you thought

(This chapter from Jongdae's POV)

(a week before he transferred to be exact)-

(During 5th period I was suddenly told by my teacher to head to the  principles office since my parents were there)

@ the principles office:

I knocked on the principles door and headed inside to see my parents sitting down suspiciously since i couldn't think of a single reason to why my parents had to be here today..i mean i've always gotten good grades and cooperative in anything i do..so why? i asked myself as i proceeded to sitting down.

(Principle)-So sad to have him leave after two years, thank you Mr, and Mrs Kim for bringing in such a wonderful son to this school~

(Jongdae)-Wait what? What do you mean i'm leaving this school?

(His mother)-Honey, your father's company isn't doing so well so me and your father decided to work in the states after finding a job that can provide enough money for our family, im sorry for the sudden notice, i mean i know how much you love your friends here.

(His father)-Sorry son, but we've decided that this was for the best, although it may be hard for you we know you can adjust anywhere.

(Jongdae)-Why are you just telling me this now, couldn't we have at least discussed this yesterday night when we had the chance, how could you not tell me? You know i can't leave this school~

(His mother)-We're really sorry but this is all we can do for now, we'll head off next Monday so you'll have time to take care of your things at school and with your friends, see you at home^^

and soon i left the office feeling as if my world was falling apart on me, after knowing the fact that i didn't even speak english and was bound to be bullied by other kids in America, and especially leaving Yumi and Jimin was what really broke my heart.

As i was walking i noticed Yumi talking to Kai (probably about Jimin since he birthday was coming up,,which i would miss)

The two of them noticed me and smiled while walking towards me^^

(Yumi)-What's with the long face? is something wrong? why are you at the principles office again? i swear if you end up in another fight with Baekhyun..(she said before i cut her off)

(Jongdae)-Calm down would you and no it wasn't because i was in trouble i just had to sort something's out that's all (i said before ruffling her hair knowing how much it annoys her, but i would do anything to see her smile for these last few days i have left)

(Kai)-so can you guys tell me what Jimin likes?

(Jongdae x Yumi)-Food (ends up laughing)

(Kai)-Oh come on besides that! (he said whining)

(Jongdae)-She also happens to like love letters

(Yumi)-(stares at him weirdly by the fact that he knew that)

(Kai)-Really..wow i at writing those..you guys need to help me (stares at the two of you with pleading eyes)

(Jongdae x Yumi)-Okiee!

The day before Valentines Day at Kai's house~

(Kai)-Thanks for helping me with this big time, i owe you big time

(Jongdae)-Don't mention it...how bout we grab a bite after we finish writing the letter

(Kai)-(nods while smiling)So are you planning to do anything for Yumi on Valentine's Day?

(Jongdae)-(coughs while drinking the class of water)-what?

(Kai)-Oh come on..i've seen the way you look at her, you can tell me can't you?

(Jongdae)-Is that what you think?

(Kai)-Trust me it's what everyone thinks~

(Jongdae)-Well sorry to bring down your expectations, but we've never felt that way about each other

(Kai)-Why don't you at least give the two of you a try..i mean isn't there at least some kind of possibility she might like you..

(Jongdae)-Are you hungry or not? (he says trying to change the subject)

(at the cafe)-V

(Jongdae)-so i recently found out that i'll be heading to the States on Monday and idk how to tell Yumi this..she's going to kill me!

(Kai)-Out of everyone you worry the most on her thoughts about this?

(Jongdae)-Well yes since we've been through everything together and leaving her doesn't feel right

(Kai)-Why haven't you told her yet? shouldn't she have been the first person to tell?

(Jongdae)-I know, i know

(Kai)-(takes his wrist while pulling him into a valentine's day themed shop that was filled with teddy bears, chocolates, and flowers.)-"here take these" (he says as he handed him a teddy bear and chocolate box)

(Jongdae)-What am i supposed to do with these? (he says clueless)

(Kai)-Go and give them to Yumi, she'll appreciate them knowing that it's from you especially, and along the way tell her how you feel

(Jongdae)-fine, i'll do it!

Valentine's Day!

At school Jongdae secretly hid the teddy bear and chocolates behind his back as he tried to find all throughout campus until he finally came to his senses and went to the one obvious place you would be-the library~

He then saw you sleeping as he nervously approached you (not knowing why he was feeling like this around you all of a sudden) until he tried to cool off the situation by casually saying "you didn't sleep last night?" to wake u up

(Jongdae's thoughts-"wow nice going captain-obvious")

You then woke up and at that moment he felt as if it was just the two of you and lost his words^^

But during that time (after your dream) you weren't in your normal state of mind and ran leaving him to be alone feeling like a complete idiot

That same night while you were concerned and worried about your dream you had in your library, Jongdae waited approxiametely 10mins outside your door knocking with you not noticing due to your music until he finally gained the courage to call you

And the moment he walked in your place he was in a daze on how to tell you on firstly that he was moving and also on his true feelings towards you but being the idiot he was inside the words never came up, which is why insisted on staying that night by your side as this also might've been the last time he was going to see you and especially you falling asleep.

When you eventually fell asleep and he couldn't help but stare at how peaceful and beautiful you looked right at that moment~ "was this how love feels like?" he thought as he then caressed your face watching you with a smile on his face as he never wanted this day to end.

Wow can't believe i wrote a total of 2029 words for this chapter..well i hope you enjoyed and sorry if i bored you this chapter took a lot of time and brainstorming to plan and write out so i hope you liked it-vixxlover123
