(Jongdae's POV)-

(EXO)-Dude it's your fault that you lost your chance with Yumi, you made a mistake

(Jongdae)-I know, but my life is nothing without her and i just broke Wendy's heart which means that her parents and my parents will literally kill me!

(EXO)-You hear about Yumi recently?

(Jongdae)-Yeah this is all my fault, Joshua didn't deserve any of that and the way she looked at me once..she now looks at only him that way, i now realize that i can never get that back

(EXO)-So are you deciding to let her go to Joshua? Whatever she chooses you shouldn't pressure her

(Jongdae)-I guess the distance really changes everything, but i have to reconcile our relationship as friends

(Exo)-And possibly apologize to Joshua~ (they said before pretty much nagging him about his past life decisions)

A couple months later

(Jimin asking the doctor)-"Is she doing better doctor?"

(Doctor)-She has shown movement when a guy came in her room last night, she'll be waking up probably within this week

(Jimin)-Thank you soo much! (she said practically hugging the doctor and nurses as Kai then appeared with a suspicious look across his face)

(Kai)-So good news i'm guessing?

(Jimin)-Yeah Yumi finally showed movement which means she'll most likely wake up this week

(Kai)-That's great, can i talk to you for a second? he said taking her to the sitting area

(Jimin)-What's going on?

(Kai)-So i recently met up with Jongdae and he's decided to let go of Yumi and have Joshua and her end up together

(Jimin)-I see (she said with a dissappointed look)

(Kai)-What's wrong i mean isn't it ok as long as she is happy?

(Jimin)-No it is but i've seen the way Jongdae feels and looks at Yumi and their undenying chemistry is just killing me..but i know that when she wakes up she has to have time to decide

(Kai)-Who are you ultimately rooting for? if you had to choose

(Jimin)-Her and Jongdae..i've always had wbu?

(Kai)-Same here..but Joshua is also an amazing guy like how lucky is she~

(Jimin)-Not as lucky as i am to be here with you (she says leaning her head on his shoulder after the two of them weren't able to see each other for 2 weeks)

(Kai)-I guess fate will only tell us the answer now~

(In your pov)-

(In your vision's)-

(Guy #1)- (takes your hand before saying his last goodbye)

(Guy #2)-Waits for you near the benches (you then take a seat next to him)

(Guy #2)-Are you feeling better now? (he says as he sweeps the hair away from your eyes)

(You)-I missed you~

(Guy #2)-I'm sorry i took so long to get back to you~ you know i love you right?

(You)-Probably not as much i have loved you (you said kissing his cheek)

(Guy #2)-Shall we head to go on our first official date?

(You)-How can i when i look like this?

(Guy #2)-Hey you look fine (he says cupping your face) anyone who's able to hold your hand, kiss your lips, and make you laugh should be considered the luckiest guy in the world

(You)-(starts crying as he then fades away from your side...will you ever get him back?)

You start searching for him..until the first guy appears telling you "what's wrong?"

(You)-He just left my side...did you not see someone just here?

(Guy #1)-No you were just sitting alone on the benches..you do know that he's been gone for a while now right?

(You)-What are you talking about?!

(Guy #1)-He suffered from a tumor inside his brain as he tried to fight a battle he was unfortunately bound to lose to

(End on your vision)

This had caused your heart rate to increase (had this been a hint to who you'd end up with or was this just a terrifying nightmare?)

Sadly enough Joshua was struggling from brain cancer and wasn't able to even say his last goodbye to anyone..knowing that this heartbreaking news would be to hard to tell you and for you to handle..he could only blame himself and thank you for all the love you've given him...he wanted to apologize tell you that he's always loved you although he struggled to anything for you that would be memorable, if he had one wish in this entire world it was to get one more chance to love you and see your face for one last time.

You would always remain deep within his heart, he only wanted for you to be happy, to be loved, praying that one day in another world he would see you smiling

Which is why he had to see you last night before he would officially not be able to see you again for a long time

(Flashback to the night before)-

(Doctor)-You only seem to have less than 3 days left, i suggest telling your loved ones

(Joshua)-Is there anything else you can do? i can't just leave the girl i love!

(Doctor)-I'm sorry, i've tried everything i could those pills i've given you was the last thing i could offer and provide

Joshua then left the doctor's office about to head back into his room until he realized he walked past your room and decided to see you one last time

He sat down near your bed as he secretly hoped you'd be awake by now smiling, assuring him that everything would be ok as you would always tell him

He was only in regret blaming himself, he then gently touched your face as he then felt your tears which only made him more emotional~

He didn't want to push you away but hurting you with the news was harder for him to see before he would leave

If only the two of you were to meet in another world where nothing could pull the two of you away from eachother

Loving you was the only thing he was best at, just seeing your face gave him happiness and the strength to live each day

He lastly left the room after giving you a light kiss on the cheek

As he headed back into his room he had seen a familiar presence in his room who was none other than Jongdae

(Joshua)-suprised to see you here, if you're looking for Yumi it's on the other side of the building

(Jongdae)-No i actually came here to apologize, and that you were right about everything i had no right into taking you away from her since i no longer mean anything to her

(Joshua)-What do  you mean you mean nothing to her? If i'm not correct if she hadn't met me she would've still been crying in her room every night just waiting for you to come back, why not try to gain that chance again with her since you two clearly have enough history together to make that possible

(Jongdae)-You know for someone who's very sick you sure do talk alot (he said as the two smiled at each other) i'm sorry since i made you're condition even more severe because of my selfish actions

(Joshua)-Stop letting yourself down, you did nothing wrong you were only following your heart i get it..you two belong together and even i can't get in the way with that kind of fate, she's lucky to have you so have some confidence in yourself you sound like your the one that's leaving her

(Jongdae)-You never told her did you?

(Joshua)-I didn't want her to see the last sight of me as someone who's dead, i'd rather have her believe that i was the so-called "bad guy"

(Jongdae)-That's only going to make her condition worse once she finds out

(Joshua)-And that is where you come in my friend

(Jongdae)-Huh? what are you talking about?

(Joshua)-You want to get her back right well this is your chance to comfort her while she cries, and the right timing to confess to her

(Jongdae)-Why am i getting the idea that you're dying on purpose i mean you seemed clearly healthy a couple months ago

(Joshua)-Well i obviosuly have great acting skills (he says jokingly but Jongdae only stares at him wiith a worried/serious face like a parent when they find out their child's report card grades)

(Jongdae)-I'm serious...i bet the doctor's gave you the wrong medication or something

(Joshua)-No it's not that..it's because i found out too late about my tumor

(Jongdae)-(looks at him with a sad face)-man someone as young as you doesn't deserve to be in this kind of position

(Joshua)-Since when did you worry about me? (he says looking at him with a smirk)

(Jongdae)-Who says i'm worried i'm just making sure Yumi won't yell at me when she finds out

(Joshua)-(Gives Jongdae a hug)- that i didn't become friends with you sooner, take care of Yumi while i'm gone since i will be watching from afar

And after a couple of days it was known for a fact that Joshua had passed away^^
