(Your POV)-

(Jongdae)-"Don't let me go" he cried as if he was lost or lonely in a sense before continuing with the words "I'm sorry and i missed you"

(You)-Yah Kim Jongdae, don't tell me you're drunk i should probably call for your girlfriend who's waiting outside

(Jongdae)-"I don't love her" he suddenly said before falling asleep on the floor (what was he saying? was your first thought0

(You then attempted to open the door but realized that he had locked the door and called out for help)

You tried screaming, yelling, calling Joshua, knocking/kicking the door, and yes even using a bobby pin you had in your hair but all those attempts had failed and you then came to a realization that you had to spend the night in a dark cold room with your drunk best friend.

As you walked toward the other side of the room you found boxes with your luck blankets and pillows and you immediately then positioned Jongdae with a pillow on his head and covered him up with one of the blankets, watching him sleep couldn't help but make you have a flashback from the past:

(Flashback)-

{possibly during your freshman year of highschool}

(You)-Kim Jongdae are you ok?! you ran towards him seeing him collasped on the floor in his room

You then tried calling his parents but no one had answered on the other line, with no choice you ran and took a taxi that took you to the nearest hospital possible

{at the hospital}

(Nurse)-Your friend seemed to have a severe fever possibly from too much stress, the IV should help him relax and he will soon wake up, could i have his parent's phone numbers (she said giving you a form to hand out that his supposedly "guardian" was supposed to)

You handed the form to her in no time and walked back to the bed Jongdae was laying at

(Your thoughts: You babo why didn't you tell me you were sick and suffering all on your own, don't you know that you have a family who deeply cares about you along with your closest childhood friends (aka me and jimin)...i love you don't do this to me!) you said as tears started racing down your cheeks and you then tried to calm down your emotions but ended up balling with your head on the edge of the bed

You then felt his hand moving on your wrist~

(Jongdae)-Why are you crying? he said softly unable to talk from the sore throat

(You)-Because you're an idiot, why didn't you tell anyone? you said unable to look directly at him

(Jongdae)-i didn't want to worry anyone, not like anyone cares about me in my own household anyway~

(You)-What makes you say that?

(Jongdae)-I'm always home alone, i've had nights where i was really having a hard time and needed someone to talk to but knew that no one would or want to listen to me (he said getting emotion)

(You)-(takes his hand)-you have someone Jongdae, me you can tell me everything..why can't you realize that.. (you wanted to continue on but stopped yourself)

(Jongdae)-(pulls you into a hug, crying on your shoulder saying the words you'll never forgot)-"thank you for always for being by my side"

(End of flashback)

Many minutes had passed by as you stared at Jongdae peacefully sleeping, you've tried falling asleep multiple times as you checked the time on your phone multple times and saw that it was now exactly midnight. You felt as if you were kidnapped but couldn't understand why Jongdae had locked the door in the first place, you wanted to talk to him but that seemed almost impossible at the moment.

(Around 2 or 3am)

You were the one that was now asleep on Jongdae's shoulder?! You woke up in shock to seem him laying right next to you

(Jongdae wakes up at that moment as well with his first words)-Why are we in Wendy's basement?

(You)-Gee i was wondering the same thing considering that you were the one that locked the door? why'd you do that?

(Jongdae)-I'm so sorry i have this habit of locking doors when i'm drunk..it's a long story

(You)-Well now that you're somewhat sobered up can you please unlock the door since i think there's two people that are waiting for us

(Jongdae)-You're talking about Joshua aren't you?

(You)-Yeah how'd you know? did you two meet already?

(Jongdae)-No but i would like too (he said in a scary tone)

(You)-Great you're still drunk..ugh why the lord am i trapped on a saturday night with this idiot

(Jongdae)-Can't you see why i trapped us in here? he said walking towards you slowly

(You)-What's wrong with you? this isn't like you

(Jongdae)-Do you really want to know (he said as he leaned in closer to eventually kissing you...on the cheek staring at you with sad eyes before continuing with the words "why did you choose him?, what's so great about a guy who was from the states..was I never enough for you?" He then said the words that broke your heart into a million pieces 

"I wish I never met you, you're nothing to me anymore"

At this moment you completely lost it and gave him a hard slap on the face, even though you knew he was drunk hardcore and those words weren't the truth

(You)-Well i'm glad you feel that way since i guess i don't have to worry about you or ever wonder what our future could've been like..and especially on how much i loved you foolishly for all these years

You then took the key out of his hand and unlocked the door before leaving, a little side of you hoped that when the two of you reunited it would've been the most memorable and magical moment of all time but of course reality has its twist and turns~
