*Hyorin’s POV

“Yes, oppa. I’ll be there in like,” I took a look at my wrist watch. “Twenty minutes. Wait for me, ok? Bye.”

I put my phone back inside my bag and continued to walk.

Three years already passed ever since the day I slapped Jonghyun’s face. Many things changed, even me. My hair got longer, even my style of clothing. I also gained a lot of confidence in myself, but I’m not those kinds of girls who boasts about their looks. I don’t hate Jonghyun as much as I hated him before, only a little bit. He could’ve changed in the past years, right?

I stopped by the shoe racks inside the department store. The stilettos displayed really caught my eye. They’re really pretty. Should I buy them, or not? But Hyojin oppa, my older brother , is already waiting for me. I guess I can try them on and buy them tomorrow..

“Excuse me, miss?”

I looked behind me, and a guy is standing in front of me. He has feline eyes, milky white skin, and black hair. He smiled.

I removed my sunglasses, and awkwardly smiled at him. “Yes?”

“You’re Kang Hyorin, right?”

I nodded. How did he know my name? “Yes, how did you know my name?”

He looked back, like he’s looking at someone, and then looked back at me again. He smiled. “I knew it. Don’t you remember me?”

I shook my head. Do I know this guy? Why does he know me? Is he my stalker or something? If he is, then I’ll count up to three, and run as fast as I can. But, wait. He’s too good-looking to be a stalker. So, who is he?

“She won’t remember you, Key.”  Someone suddenly said. It is a very familiar voice. I looked up, and to my surprise, the owner of the very familiar voice is no other than my very handsome fiancé, Kim Jonghyun. Take note, I’m being sarcastic.

I raised my eyebrow.  “Jonghyun?”

Nothing really changed when it comes to Jonghyun’s physical appearance. He just got a little taller, his body got more.. Uhm.. How should I say this.. Manly, I suppose. And he dyed his hair blond. It fits him, but he really looks weird for me.

He smirked.  “You can’t forget me, I’m special.”

“Whatever you say, Mister.” I said in a sarcastic tone. I looked at the guy who approached me earlier. “So, you must be Kibum?”

He nodded with a smile. “Yup. Key is the name.”

“You’re still ugly.” Jonghyun caught me off guard, but I tried my very best to cover it up.

Think, Hyorin, think! What was your first not-so-good impression about him that would surely piss him off?. .

AHA! I know what to do..

I rolled my eyes. ”Whatever. You still look like a dinosaur.”

His jaw almost fell. His reaction is PRICELESS. HA! I won. He’s pissed off~ He’s pissed off~ I pissed him off~!

“W-what? M-me? A d-dinosaur?”

Key laughed, but stopped after Jonghyun glared at him.

I laughed gently. “Yes. You still look like a DINOSAUR, but a weird one. A blond dinosaur?”

“WHAT. DID. YOU. JUST. SAY?”

“A BLOND DINOSAUR.”

“TAKE THAT BACK!”

“Why would I?”

“TAKE TH—“

Key suddenly held his arms when he was about to go closer to me. “Calm down, Jjong. She’s a girl.”

“Yes, she’s a girl, but she’s irr—“

“I think it would be better if you leave, Hyorin,” Key cut him off. “I mean, look at him.”

“Look at me?! What are you try—“

“I agree,” I cut him off. I just love pissing him off. “Thanks, Key. I’ll go now. I might get killed if I don’t. Now, if you’ll excuse me, Hyojin oppa is waiting for me.” I wore my sunglasses again. “See you next time.”

“Ok. See you next time.” Key said.

I looked at Jonghyun as I walked away. “Bye, dino.”

“Y-YAH!” he shouted, but I continued to walk away.

I took a look at my wrist watch, and OHMYGOD. It’s already 11:37AM, and I’m supposed to meet Hyojin oppa seven minutes ago! DANG! I’m late, and the restaurant where he is is on the fourth floor, and I’m on the second! DANG! If it wasn’t for Kim Jonghyun, I wouldn’t be late!

I literally ran all the way to the escalator, but I guess luck wasn’t on my side. I tripped. I mean, who wouldn’t trip if you’re wearing a four-inch stiletto? I fell down on my , and the paper bags I was holding was scattered on the floor. Is this my karma for teasing Jonghyun?

“Do you need help?”
