Guardian Angel
They were back at the cabin and Ji Hoon's sister and her husband were there as well. Her husband was a doctor so she brought him over to check on Haneul. Her condition was stable but the power exhausted her so she will need a lot of rest. He left some medication and told Jong Suk when she should take it and in what amount. He explained to Jong Suk that her body will go through some more pain but it would get better in about a week or so.
The guys were after Jong Suk's father and they had enough people for the job so that was good. Jong Suk wanted to join but he decided to stay next to Haneul's side. She needed him the most right now. He was still a bit mad at her for doing such a thing on her own, but he was also glad that she was safe and sound now.
She thanked Ji Hoon's sister and her husband and saw them out. They both wanted to join in on the search and help them end this once and for all. Jong Suk gave them the green light to kill his father once they find him. He didn't care anymore and he didn't even want to see him or bother to talk to him or listen to him. Everything was already said and Jong Suk was sick of it.
Jong Suk went back into the bedroom to check up on Haneul and at this point she was awake. She was trying to sit up so Jong Suk walked over to her to help her. She smiled slightly and looked at him. Haneul knew that he might be a bit disappointed with her or maybe even mad.
"Do you need anything?" He asked.
"Water, please." She said.
He reached for the glass and poured water into it. He handed it over to her and she drank more than half. It felt refreshing since she had a feeling she was burning on the inside.
"Thank you." She said and handed him the glass.
He put it on the nightstand and helped her lay back down. Haneul took her hand and held it. Even though he might be mad at her she was happy to see him again.
"Are you aware that your move was crazy?" He suddenly said.
"I'm sorry." She replied and looked at their hands.
"Do you know how worried I was! Why Haneul? Why?!" He raised his voice.
She couldn't say anything, she understood him and he had every reason to yell at her. He was right, she did do a crazy thing but that was the only way. Who knows what would have happened if he was there? Maybe he would have been dead by now.
"What would I do if something happened to you?" He asked. " Why?"
"It all started from me and I wanted to end it." She finally said but almost in a whisper.
"That was a stupid reason and stupid way to do it!" He hissed.
"I'm sorry." She replied.
"Get some rest." He said and just left the room, closing the door.
She sighed and pulled the covers over her head and tried to make herself comfortable. She slowly turned to the side and curled up. It was a bit cold for her so she tried to warm up. She felt a bit bad that Jong Suk was angry at her, but she hoped it would pass him soon and that she can make it up to him. She closed her eyes and tried to calm down her body in hopes that she will warm up and soon enough she fell asleep.
Jong Suk was in the kitchen making her soup so that she can eat something warm later. He felt bad for earlier but it was difficult for him to keep it in and not say anything. He was afraid of losing her and if something really had happened to her he wouldn't know what he would do. That would probably be the end for him as well. Not to mention her brother, he freaked out when he heard where she was.
Not to mention the fact that her powers were back. That was something new for her and her body and Jong Suk could only imagine the pain that she was going through, and now not only will he have to make a decision but so will she. He sighed and leaned on the counter and he waited for the soup to cook. Jong Suk was also waiting for news on his father but so far nothing.
The last thing he was told was that the guys were closing upon him. Hopefully, they catch him soon so that they can all relax and just have a normal life. The soup was fi
