Guardian Angel
Jong Suk felt uneasy with every minute. The more he got closer to the meeting with his father the more he was nervous about it. The fact that his father knew about everything was obvious. It was something that Jong Suk was aware and there was no going back now. Now or never. He parked the car in front of the building and stayed inside the car for a little while. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. Every possible scenario came to mind and at this point he was ready.
Once he was able to push away the nervous feeling he finally got out of the car, locking it and putting his hands in his jacket pockets. He walked towards the building entrance and went inside. Some of the people there bowed as he passed by since they knew whose son he was. That always bothered Jong Suk. He hated it, but there was no use in telling them to stop. It was something they thought they should do as a sign of respect and it was something his father ordered them to do.
He walked over to the elevator, pressed the button, and waited, looking at the two arrows above the elevator door. Soon enough the elevator came and Jong Suk got on. There were already a few people there, so he just pressed the button he needed and went on the way back to the elevator. He tried to avoid any kind of contact or communication with the people there. It made him feel uncomfortable and some people were just not to his liking. He could always sense if someone was good or bad.
He knew what they thought about him and it annoyed him since they were two-faced, besides he didn't trust the staff around here. They all worked for his father and obeyed him, so Jong Suk preferred keeping a distance. The elevator stopped on the 30th floor and Jong Suk got out. He took the right turn and headed down the hallway towards the last office.
In front of his father's office, there were two bodyguards. They looked at Jong Suk and slightly bowed their heads and opened the door for him to go inside. Jong Suk stepped inside and just stopped. The door behind him closed and he looked in the direction of his father. His father was looking out the window and smoking a cigar. He didn't say anything at first and neither did Jong Suk. He just stood there and waited.
"Have a seat." His father finally said.
His voice was cold and he gave a dark vibe.
Jong Suk walked over to the chair and sat down, swallowing his own spit. His father then turned around and looked at him. His look was dark and full of anger. He started walking up and down the office and huffing. Jong Suk was prepared for him to let out a scream or go for an attack, but suddenly his father stopped and stood in front of him. He lifted his hand and pointed his finger at him.
"YOU!!!" He said.
Jong Suk just kept looking straight at him, not even bothering to react or say anything. His father hated that most... wait his father hated EVERYTHING that went against him.
"How many times have I told you to leave it alone?" His father said again, under his breath.
"How many times have I said that I will find her." Jong Suk replied.
"And once again YOU got her in danger, but this time it will be deadly.. for her... or you ... or maybe both." His father replied, making a fist.
"Or it might be deadly for you." He replied and looked his father straight in the eyes.
His father hissed.
"If you're done, I would like to leave." Jong Suk replied and got up.
"Listen to me very carefully, from now on you are not my son. You are my enemy. You have no right to come here ever again and I promise you this is not the end." His father said.
Jong Suk didn't reply he just turned around and headed for the door.
"I would be very careful if I were you. You will not know the time or day of my arrival." His father added.
Jong Suk shook his head and just walked out of the office slamming the door behind him. He walked down the hallway as fast as he could and instead of waiting for the elevator he took the stairs and just ran down. It was also a way to cool down since he kept his calm the whole time. He was boiling up and that wasn't good. To his surprise he
