2009:

Minjoon come to the mental house where his mother in, but then there are so many nurses in front of the room, his father come out from there while discussing something with his assistant, Minjoon run to his dad,

“Why?, is there something wrong, dad?,” he asked.

“I don’t know why she did it, but this morning when the nurse in charge come to give her breakfast, she is hanging there…on the bathroom door,” he said then Minjoon realized that his mom commited suicide, then he run to his mom room, his mother lying on the bad with a red circle on her neck, she close her eyes, not breathing, Minjoon start crying,

“Mom, why you did this?, you didn’t even say anything to me or Mingook, why you leave us like this?,” he asked while crying out loud, his dad back to the room and rubbing his back while saying,

“You are a man, don’t cry…,” Minjoon turn his head to his dad, then he smile,

“Don’t smile in this kind of situation dad, it’s really scare me,” then his dad leave him, then Minjoon know that one of the doctors who are standing in front of his mom room, there is Wooshik who give him sad look, then Wooshik asking for permission to the bodyguards who guard the room, he tell them that he want to give something to Minjoon, Minjoon looking at the bodyguard then giving them sign that he want to have a talk with him too,

“There is something I want to give you, I think your mom recognized me,” he whispering, Minjoon look surprised after heard that, “she gave me this and want me to give it to you, your mother condition got better yesterday when I the last time saw her, I don’t think she will do this, you must stay strong,” then he give him a piece of paper from his mom, he open it, “it’s really from her,” he said then leave him,

Just that, but it’s make Minjoon crying even hard. He didn’t pay much attention to his mom lately because of his busy schedule, not just lately, but since he enter his dad’s company, four years ago. Meeting his mom and little brother is the other things to do for him, because his priority had always be his work. Dad always give him overseas schedules, he couldn’t stay at home that long and have a talk with his mom or his brother, then three months ago when he return from overseas, his dad’s assistant inform him that they bring her mother to mental hospital, Minjoon look confused with the assistant’s words, then the assistant said,

“She get depression and often did strange things, like trying to kill herself, killing the person near her who tried to save her. Because we did it in secret, I hope, if you want to visit her, visit her in secret too.” Then he leave him like that, although he understand what he said, but still he couldn’t understand why his dad decided to took her in mental hospital before knowing the reason, why she became like that, when he is about to leave the house, someone held his hand,

“Hyung, do you want to go visit mom?, I want to see her too,” his brother come.

“Then why you didn’t do anything when mom get dragged to mental hospital,” he said, their relationship is not that good.

“They locked me in my room, and the maids said that they bring mom to the hospital, not mental hospital. How did I know that they actually brought mom to mental hospital?, it happen two days ago, hyung,” after heard that, he run to parking and enter one of his car, “let’s go,” he said to his brother.

His mom, get hospitalized since then. Then he meet his close friend from elementary school who he couldn’t meet since graduated. He took care of his mother, everyday sent him his report about Minjoon’s mom. But then, when they have a talk while looking at Mingook and mom, he asked him,

“Is it really your dream?, to became a businessman?, I think when we were in elementary school, you wrote something, what you want to be..and that was not businessman.., as I remember.”

“Hmm, that was not businessman. When I little, I don’t know what is that, what kind of work is that, so I just wrote doctor, it’s a standard answer from a child, right?,” he said then smile, “when I get older, I think it was when I’m in high school, I start to like writing, it’s so fun for me. So although dad want me to became businessman, I still tried to asked him if I can became a writer?, but then he answer it like he didn’t even really care about me, he just said, ‘I don’t want to hear such question again from you’, after that I decided to give up.”

“Wah..you are really good boy,” he said while rubbing his hand.

“Yah..what are you doing?,” Minjoon asked to Wooshik because he did something weird.

“Your visit time is finished,” the jailer who guard the visit room said.

“Go home now, we can meet again later. You can come as many as you want, because the persons who visit me here just two, you and my brother,” Minjoon said, “I’ll tell you the continuance of the story, because the visit time only 10 minutes here, so..you must be patient to hear the full story. If you can come everyday, I think in a week the story will be finish,” he said, then Ahyoung smile to him.

“Your visiting time is finished,” once again the jailer said, thenMinjoon stand up,

“I heard you became my brother friend?, I hope you won’t leave him,” he said, “next time, come here with food,” he said then grinning.

“Why I feel happy when herad your joking?,” she asked.

“I’m not joking, bring something for me to eat next time,” he said then leave her.

“Although it may be strange that I said this but, be happy Minjoon-ssi, wherever you are,” she aisd after heard that, he smile to her, “Oppa, he is a good person, right?,” she asked to her brother who didn’t even there, then smile. She leave that place with smily face, someone waiting for her in front of that place,

“Wah..you look different..,” she said as greeting, the one who wait for her is Mingook who is wearing a suit, “you are a businessman now?, haha.., it’s look good on you,” she said, they look close to each other.

“At first, I really hate this, but now…I’m the only one who has to do this…so there is nothing that I can do, right?,” he said while opening the car door for her, “let’s go,” he said.

“Where will we go?,” she asked after sit.

“Tomorrow is your birthday, right?,” he said, “let’s go to somewhere to celebrate it, tomorrow I have overseas schedule, so I can’t,” after heard that, Ahyoung smile,

“How did you know that tomorrow is my birthday?,”

“I was your stalker, you know that…”

“That must something you are very pround of…being a stalker,” she try to play joke.

“If being Miss Ahyoung’s stalker, I’m really pround of that..haha,” he said, “but where is that guy?, I never see him now..?,” he asked about Jonghyun, Ahyoung look doesn’t understand who is he talking, “that guy..Hong Jonghyun, your boyfriend.”

“He is not my boyfriend,”she said.

“No need to say that in front of me,” Mingook said, “he always there whenever you are, he really angry to me when he know that I’m stalking you,” he tell her about that day when Jonghyun angry to him.

“Hmm, he was my boyfriend...let’s talk about something else…,” she is trying to avoid that topic for now.

“But, that’s the only topic I get curious about…Ah..I’ll ask about something else, don’t you have an event to celebrate your birthday?,” he asked.

“Tomorrow I’ll celebrate it with my family and radio’s staffs,” she said while looking at outside car, “where are we going?,” she asked again.

“Somewhere, there is a restaurant with a nice sunset scenery,” he said.

“Why suddenly going to that place?.”

“I want to show to that beautiful sun, that I also have suns, so my live won’t get dark eventhough that sun already set,” he said, Ahyoung looking at him,

“Suns?, you have a lot of sun?,” she asked.

“Hmm..one of them sit next to me right now,” he said while grinning.

“Wahh…what was that?, my ears nearly burning after heard that…,” then they are laughing together, “but, it’s still 04.00 pm?,” she said after looking at her watch, then he is smiling.

While in Hong’s family home, Jonghyun reading a book next to his brother who is reading book too, on his bed. It’s look like Jonghoon want to say something to Jonghyun but hesitate,

“Why, hyung?,” Jonghyun asked after noticed it. Jonghyun close the book, and looking at his brother, his brother close his book too,

“You know, tomorrow is her birthday..,” he said, he’s talking about Ahyoung, he know that Jonghyun like her, but he is trying to hide that because Ahyoung want him to not go near her,

“Then, why?, you want me to get a gift for her?, you still contact her?,” he asked, these days, he look sensitive everytime he heard her name,

“Don’t you want to get something for her?,” he asked, “I’m not contacting her, I’m just waiting for her to call me, to meet for the last time,” he said, Jonghyun look surprised when he heard that, how did he know about that?, he didn’t say anything to him about that, did Ahyoung said something to him about that back then?, “why?you are wondering how did I know about it?,” he asked, “I know about it, all about it” then smiling.

“Hyung, I have reason why I didn’t tell you about it…,” Jonghyun said.

“It’s okay, I know,” he said, Jonghyun want to explain something to his brother but then his handphone ringing, “you don’t pick up the call?, pick it up, maybe it’s something important,” he said, Jonghyun pick his phone from his pocket, he see who is the one who call him ‘Soojin’. It has been so long since he couldn’t meet Ahyoung, but not Soojin, sometime they still meet each other,

“Hello?,” he said after pick up the call while walking out from his brother’s room, “why?.”

“Tomorrow is her birthday…wanna come to her party tomorrow?,” she asked.

“You know that I shouldn’t come near to her,” he remember her about what Ahyoung said to him.

“It has been two months since she said that, you should forget about that and just come if you miss her,” she advice to him.

“She’ll be angry if she see me there, and it’ll make her birthday party will fail. I’ll come if the one who want me to come is her, ” he said, “okay, thank you,” he said then end the call.

The food already in front of them, Mingook said that they will start eat the food after the sun set,

“But, why in this spot there is only this table?,” Ahyoung asked wondering, “you said it’s the nice spot to watch the sun set, why there is only us in this spot?.”

“Because I rent it for today, wah look at that, pretty, right?,” he said while pointing at the sun that slowly seting. Then, suddenly when the sun completely gone, that place suddenly became really dark, a light shine on Ahyoung, then a small birthday cake placed by the waiter on the table, she still confusing by this surprised, “Happy birthday…it’s my first time say it in front of you, so I want to make it special. How was it?, is it pretty,” but there is no respsonse from her, she look blank, “why?, are you that touched by this surprised?,” he asked.

“No, wait…what is this?, why you did this?,” she asked back, “you said we went here to eat something and watch the sunset, why suddenly this?.”

“I said that, because I can’t give you on the D-day..so I want to celebrate it today. Is it too much?, it’s not just your celebration, it’s my celebration too. After years, finally I can say that in front of you and watching you smile from closer, happy birthday..,” he said then light up the candle, “make a wish and blow the candle,” he said, then she do what he said, after making wish she blow the candle,

“Thank you..although it’s too much for me, but thank you..,” she said then smiling, while eating the steak suddenly Mingook bring out topic about Jonghyun again,

“Why you avoided to talk about that guy?.”

“Why suddenly asking about that guy again?,” she asked him back.

“He always by your side in the process of your brother’s court, but then disappear even before the last trial, the important one…,” he said.

“He must do that, I’m the one who told him to not help me again because he already help me a lot.”

“Why?, he is your boyfriend, so he must help you a lot, right?. He is one of the witness too,” he said.

“Hmm..just because his family?, but I remember something while talking about him, something I must do for him and someone..hehe,” she said then eat her steak. When they about to leave the restaurant,

Mingook giving her a gift, “what is this?,” she asked.

“Just…a gift from me, open it when you are home…,” he said, then the car start leaving the restaurant.

“Wah..thank you.”

Today, it’s the day, her birthday. Her family prepare a small party for her with beautiful decoration in a restaurant near the radio broadcast,

“Where are your radio’s staff?,” Soojin asked while putting the cake on the table,

“Here they are,” Ahyoung answer when she saw the radio’s staff enter the restaurant, but after that she still standing near the door, look like still waiting for someone,

“Is there another gus=est?, Mingook?,” Soojin asked.

“No, Mingook couldn’t come today..,” not long after that someone come with flower and gift in his hand, Soojin loking at him and smile,

“Ah..it’s nice to see you here, let’s go..,” Jonghyun come in and walking with Soojin side by side, Ahyoung following them from behind, “you said that you won’t come if it’s not her who want you come,” Soojin said, then she looking at Jonghyun who smile widely, “ahh..,” Soojin turn her head to face Ahyoung, “you invited him to come?, wahh..,” she asked Ahyoung,

“Why?, there is something I want to talk to him, ” she said then walking passing them, “let’s start the party before it’s late, both of you, come here quickly,” she said while pointing at Soojin and Jonghyun.

The night before Ahyoung’s birthday party…

Ahyoung POV:

It’s not the first time I came to this hospital in this last month. Right after the last court, I came here too, I want to say sorry and thank you to him, but I feel there is something or maybe someone who pushed me to go far away from him. Actually, the real reason I don’t want to meet both of them is because of my feeling, my feeling that suddenly change. I fall in love with a boy who I know named Jonghyun, but then after 7 years he leave me alone I meet someone who have same face and name as Jonghyun who became my boyfriend 7 years ago but with different personality, the better one…the Jonghyun I know before is someone who really bad at expressing his emotion or telling someone something about him. Then, someone said to me the Jonghyun now is someone who lost his past memories, because of me. But, I'm trying to make him remember me, not just because my lingering feeling, but also because of my brother, after spending days with him, I feel that I falling in love with him again...but then..he said to me that the one who I'm looking for is not him..but someone else, that's his brother. I'm really confused with my feeling now, I want to meet him, I miss him..but then..if I decided to continue this, I'll be a bad girl...right?, after had relationship with his brother, then now..have feeling for him..

“What are you doing here?,” someone asked me, “you want to meet Jonghyun?,” she asked, then “we already planning for our engagment, don't you dare to meet him again,”Hyeri...even before hearing my answer, she already said those words..the words that make me step back..then she leave me..

but, I promise them to meet them for the last time to say good bye..I'll do it now..I don't want to drag the time any longer,

Come to my birthday party, tommorow

at 01.00 p.m..

it'll be nice if you come, it'll be more nice if your brother come too..

I leave the hospital with high expectation that he'll come tomorrow to my birthday party, because that day will be the last time meet them.

They sang birthday song for birthday girl..after blow the candle, she give the cake to her parent and the other guest,

“Jonghyun waiting for you there,” Soojin said to him, Ahyoung smile and walking toward Jonghyun who sit on a bench in garden,

“Why are you here?,” she asked.

“At first, I don't want to come because I know that it'll be the last time meeting you, but then I give the second thought, so I come. Hyung couldn't come, you should come to him. You know that his condition is not good, eventhough after the surgery, “ he said, Ahyoung sit next to him,

“Okay, let's meet him after this..,” she said then smile to him, “I heard about that, your engagment..”

“Engagment?, with who?,” he asked her, he has no clue about engagment.

“Hyeri-ssi said to me that both of you in engagment preparation now, so she said to me not to meet you. But I’m really sorry to her, because after that I texted you to come here..,” she tell the story.

“She said about engagment?, the one who plan all of this are my parent and her parent, maybe she is one of the planer, but not me..I don’t know anything about that..,” he explained to her.

“Ahh..but, I think it’s a good idea, you should be happy too, not just helping someone to be happy..,” after heard that Jonghyun smile.

“Then, are you happy now?,” he asked, “I heard from Soojin noona that, you and Mingook became friend now, right?,” he want confirmation from Ahyoung.

“Hmm..it happen that way. Although before, our relationship kinda bad and cruel, but now is better.”

“Hmm, why he didn’t come to your party then?,” he asked.

“He couldn’t come, there is something he must do…didn’t you asked me, am I happy now?,” she asked, and he nodding, “I’m trying to be happy, but for sure I’m more happy than before..because one of my burdens get solved. How about you?,” she asked back.

“I want to get back my happiness, I’m trying to be happy, but I think if one of my happiness have gone, I think…it’s really useless,” he said while facing Ahyoung, who is smiling while looking at the stars.

“Good luck then, ” she said without looking at him, “are your parents in home?, if they are in home, I couldn’t go there,” she said.

“Just my mom, dad still have some business overseas,” he told her.

“Should I buy something, for our good bye gift?, for you and your brother?,” she asked.

“Why you asked that kind of question?, don’t you know that’s such a cruel question for me…”

“Sorry, I shouldn’t ask that. Let’s go before get late,” she said while standing from her seat.

“You wish me luck to get back my happiness just now, but why you plan to go away from me, my happiness?,” after heard that, she looking at him, look confused, “How could I get it back, when she trying to go away from me?, stay here, never say good bye..,” he said, look like Ahyoung trying not to cry, but then a tear fall down,

“How could I stay?, If I stay I'll became greedy, then I’ll hurt one of you..you or your brother, then how could I stay?,” she said with such a low voice, Jonghyun walking closer toward her then give her hug, but she doesn’t hug him back, she is still crying.
