Two weeks flew by. Luckily for her, Gina didn’t have a lot of homework, because the end of the semester was almost near. The situation with Jaebum was still the same, other than the same boring texts, she didn’t hear much from him. It did sadden her a bit, because they were so close. He must’ve had a good reason for this, is what she kept thinking.

Gina woke up feeling nervous, because today was the contest ceremony. At the end of the day, they would hold a small ceremony presenting the winners. The student’s parents were invited as well, and so her parents were coming too. She hoped that she would win, but if she didn’t, she would feel satisfied as well. There were even people coming from different high end designing companies. So if she didn’t win, she had a chance of being casted by one of them for an internship.

She put her clothes on and put a bit of make-up on. Today she had to look a bit more decent, because there were going to be pictures taken. Satisfied with how she looked, she walked downstairs. She took longer than normal to get ready, so she quickly gave her parents a kiss, grabbed a sandwich and ran out of the door. She started to walk a bit faster to school, because she didn’t want to be late. She put her earbuds in and started her favorite playlist. Before she could lock her phone, she received a text message. Surprised from who it was from, she opened it.

‘’Have a nice day today, x Jaebum‘’

It was the first time in 3 days that he had texted her. She felt a bit happier even though she didn’t know why. She hoped that things would get to how they were.

‘’Thank you, I hope you do too have a nice day! X‘’

She put her phone back in her pocket and started walking a bit faster.

‘’Can everyone go to the main aula, thank you!‘’ the principal announced through the telecom. Everyone gather their stuff and walked to the main aula and so did Gina. Before she could walk through the door, a pair of arms around her arm stopped her movements.

‘’The moment of truth!‘’ Lilly said while she stopped her from entering the aula. She grabbed both of Gina’s shoulders and looker her straight in the eyes. It was unusual for Lilly to act that way, so Gina was a bit surprised.

‘’Whatever happens there, we will keep supporting each other, okay?‘’ she asked, while she kept looking at her.

‘’Ofcourse, just like we always do‘’ Gina put her hand on Lilly’s hands and gave her an encouraging squeeze. She would be happy
