You Want Me
Don't you?

Wants 019
I want you here, just like how I've gotten used to.

Weird. Mark glared at the small memo in his hand. His breakfast ran cold in the early morning, but that wasn't part of his concerns. Where is Jiae? He had searched the entire unit just now, and all that's left from her was the breakfast on the table and a small note sitting next to the plates.

"I'll be late. Your dinner is in the fridge, remember to reheat it before you eat it. Don't be a lazy , Mark. Love, your adorable wife." He clicked his tongue and dropped the small piece of paper. Adorable? He snickered lightheartedly and shook his head. Grabbing a fork, he decided to have his breakfast and make a quick run to his office. He didn't really have anything going on for the day. He just wanted to clear up the mess on his office desk.

Office work was boring. Nothing much changed in his working environment at all. The hotel is still running smoothly, his employees are still idiots, and his secretary still won't stop talking at all. Secretary Kim had been going on and on about his future schedules and projects that needed his approval. He has also been following Mark around for the entire bloody day no matter where he goes. And he was this close to following him into the restroom cubicle.

off... He would have told him that, he honestly wanted to. But his father probably wouldn't let him off the hook if he were to say that for real. Come to think of it, is his father finally done with the preparations for him to take over the company? He promised that he was going to, but Mark wasn't sure if his father was any serious about it.

The conference meeting was annoying as ever. The higher ups in the company were tempted to bite off each other's heads, while he watching the show from the most front seat of the conference table.

"The budget that the finance department gave us prevented us from providing our clients a satisfying service, director!"

"You marketing rats had been using too much supplies to market our company, it's far more than needed!"

"You don't understand the art of marketing!"

"You don't know the pain of financial plannings!"

"Director!!"

The corner of his eye twitched. He was trying to suppress his anger and frustration, but these two department heads in particular just wouldn't seem to stop shouting at each other's faces. On his left was the financial head, Kim Sunggyu, and on his right was the marketing head, Nam Woohyun. According to his secretary, these two had been sending their "lackeys" over to each other's "turf" to torture the living out of each other during his absence.

Mark sighed, his eyes shifted to the window frame. The sun was glaring, the lights were too bright, and the flare was burning his skin. Annoying. He groaned and ran his fingers through his hair. "Find me in my office when they're done." He told his secretary and left the conference room.

His office was quiet, unlike the meeting room that was roaring with insults. What is she doing now? He found himself asking that question over and over again. He would be thinking about it, but never had the courage to ask her anything. She was just one call away, but he couldn't bring himself to dial her number without risking his heart blasting like loudspeakers.

Don't do it. He told himself that before. Don't think about her. He knew that fairly well. He knew that he shouldn't, but he has already fallen for the trap she has set up for him. Jiae has been aggressive with her advance ever since she found the click to it. She never hesitates to pounce, to pull him closer when he was struggling to find the will to leave. She was always there, holding him by the collar... Teasing him closer.

He gulped and nibbled his lips. Damn his brain for putting the previous image back on the screen. Her smirk, her alluring gaze, her touch... Everything was coming back to him, ramming in like a truck. The physical attraction was strong, he wouldn't deny that. But he wouldn't want to give in more than that. He wouldn't risk it. She wouldn't stay, he knew that all along. Therefore, these thoughts, these feelings should stop.

He needed fresh air. He needed a breather. He thought as he leaves his office unattended. He wouldn't tell his secretary about it, knowing that he might just follow him again. His feet brought him to the familiar cafe that was at the opposite road, which was Bambam's cafe. It's for the afternoon coffee, that was his excuse when he pulled the door open and entered the small cafe building.

"Ah, hyung!" Bambam greeted him, but his eyes were elsewhere. He couldn't find the black raven hair, nor was there the teasing onyx eyes that shines as bright as the stars. He pursed his lips, making an attempt to hide his disappointment and turned to Bambam.

"Americano." He muttered softly as he tries his best to avoid the curious gaze from the customers from the side. He wasn't trying to brag, but he is fairly good looking. He clicked his tongue and tugged his hands into his pockets. He was waiting for his coffee, eyes just casually scanning the peaceful cafe. He noticed someone clearing the table, and his eyes immediately furrowed. That isn't Jiae, that definitely wasn't her. Who is that?

"Hyung, you can have your break after that." Bambam smiled at his employee and placed the cup before Mark. "How was your trip, hyung?" He raised an eyebrow. Right, he knew about him and Jiae. Mark took the cup and shrugged. "It was fine." He said as he nods at the newcomer who grinned at them. For some very odd reason, he wasn't exactly happy with how the man looked like. He reminded him of something unpleasant from his honeymoon trip.

"Who's that?" He asked.

Chapter 11: chapter 10 : this story is not logic at all hdhdjsjs but i'm not complaning. Their relationship is too natural and how do i say it? It's impossible to be so friendly and lovey dovey to a stranger that you're going to marry right? Or maybe it's just how Jiae bright and strong personality works. The plot is pretty cliche but i like the characters. Love how you potrayed them!
