“ Hey , Sehun's picking me up later. “ This got Kris's attention and he quickly sat up from the bed . “ What do you mean he's picking you up ? “ Briana pulled a red chequered shirt out of her closet and look around for a tee . “ He and I have a project together . So he's coming to pick me. “

Kris watched as she took out her uniform . “ What project is it ? “ “ Biology , we're suppose to adopt a pet and take care of it , and we have to watch it's behaviour and such . It's kinda fun . “ Kris nodded and handed  her towel . “ What pet are you going to adopt ? “ “ A dog . “

“ You do remember that dad is not really fond of them right  ? “ Briana nodded and tied her hair into a bun . “ Well duh , that's why you have a cat . “ Just then , Kris's cat Ben Ben ,an Egyptian Mau appeared and jumped onto Briana's bed . “ Hey Ben Ben . “ Ben Ben meowed back and snuggled into Kris's huge hand .

“ I'll talk to Sehun if he could keep the dog at his place . “ Kris nodded and played with Ben Ben as his sister went to take a bath . “ Ben Ben . “ The cat look up with his big blue eyes . “ Amber is coming over tomorrow . “ The cat perked his ears at the mention of his girlfriend . “ You like her huh ? Even if she has two Chihuahuas ? “

The cat as if knew what he meant , meowed in response . Kris chuckled and the part behind his ear , his favourite part . “ Come on it's feeding time . “ The cat jumped of from his lap and followed Kris from behind . He took out the canned tuna , also his favourite and placed in his bowl .

“ Oh Master , do you need anything ? “ Kris shake his hand at the maid . “ No , I'm just feeding my cat . “ The maid bowed and left . There was a car honk and Kris knew it was Sehun . “ Master , your friend is here . “ Kris nodded and patted Ben Ben's tail . “ Let him in . “

Kris got up and went to the living room . Ben Ben stare at his owner and his paw before following him . Kris opened the door and Sehun look up . “ Hey Hyung . “ Kris nodded and opened the door wider .

Sehun entered the room and sat on the couch . “ Bri's still bathing , can you wait for a while ? “ Sehun nodded . Ben Ben jumped onto the seat beside him and Sehun scratched his ear . “ Sehun . “ Sehun noticed the tone in Kris's voice and immediately look up . “ My sister's not like any other girl okay . “ Kinda knew that the first time she entered the room. Sehun nodded .

“ So I want you to take good care of her okay ? Promise me . “ “ I promise hyung . “ Sehun's hand unconsciously went up to his necklace as he always did . Kris noticed and nodded . He and the others knew about his little habit and Sehun told them that it was from his late father , which was partially true .

“ Oh you're here already ? “ The both of them look up as they heard her voice .

Sehun stood up as Briana approached him . “ You ready  ? “ Briana smiled and nodded . Briana turn to Kris and tip toed to kiss his cheek . “ I'll be back for dinner . “ Kris nodded and watched Briana and Sehun leave . “ She'll be alright right Ben ? “ The cat just meowed and sauntered away . Kris scowled and went up to his room .

“ So Sehun , can we adopt a dog ? “ Sehun look at Briana and she smiled at him . “ Yeah , I was thinking about it . “ Briana nodded . “ You see , my dad is not really fond of them , so can we keep it at your place ? “ Sehun nodded again and stopped as the light turned red .

Sehun look at Briana who was looking out of the window . He bit his lips and unclenched his hand . “ Bri . “ She turn to look at him and noticed his expression . “ Sorry if i'm making you feel uncomfortable . “ Briana shake her head and patted his hand . “ You're not making me uncomfortable Sehun , a little awkward but not uncomfortable . “

Sehun nodded . “ You said you were from San Francisco ? “ Briana nodded . “ I overheard that you stayed in a camp ? “ Briana stiffened and that did not go unnoticed by Sehun . “ Yeah , it's like a summer camp but you can stay for as long as you want . “ Sehun nodded .

“ You're adopted ?  “ Briana nodded again . “ How was it ? Before you were adopted ? “ Briana shrugged . “ I was actually adopted when I was still a baby . My parents was shocked that I had blue eyes but the representative had explained that my eyes lacked of melanin so yeah . “

Sehun nodded . “ Your eyes are really pretty . “ Briana eyes widened and Sehun cleared his throat and quickly start driving before the other drivers get impatient . They were in a comfortable silence with Briana humming a tune and Sehun looking out for the pet shop . “ We're here . “

Briana look out the window and grew excited . “ I'm so excited ! “ Sehun smiled and unlock the door . Briana quickly got out of the car and ran to the shop . Sehun just chuckled and went in after her . “ Look at the amount of puppies ! “ Briana walked pass a lot of puppies and squealed at all of them . “ They're so cute ! How am I going to pick one ?! “

Sehun just shake his head and left her to squeal at the puppies . Sehun thoroughly search around the shop and finally found him . “ Hey Rufus . “

Rufus recognized his scent and barked . Sehun smiled and watched as Rufus wagged his tail eagerly and scratched the wall . “ Dad sent you huh ? “ Rufus nodded and barked . Sehun chuckled and look around for Briana . “ Wait here okay ? I'll bring my friend here . “ Rufus nodded and watch as his owner walked away .

Sehun walked around the aisle and found Briana looking at the dog food . “ Bri . “ She look up and smiled , waving him over . “ I haven't found a dog yet but look at this dog food . Which one should we buy ? “ Sehun shrugged . “ I found one that you might like .  “

Briana smiled and look at him . “ Really ? Show me ! “ Sehun led her back to Rufus and Briana squealed at the sight of him  “ A husky ! “ Briana squatted down and waved at the puppy . Rufus inhaled her scent and barked happily at his other owner . “ Oh My Gods ! He is adorable !”  Sehun smiled at the sight and called the worker  .

“ I would like to purchase him please . “ The worker nodded and picked Rufus out of his cage . “ I will go and get him ready for you . “ Sehun look at Rufus and Rufus barked , nodding his head . I'm okay Master . Sehun nodded and the worker took him away .

“ What are we going to name him ? I saw at the counter that you could buy his collar here and get his name engraved . “ Sehun watch as Briana rambled about and placed his hand on her arm . She look up and held her breath at his intense stare . She could feel her heart beating really fast .

“ Rufus . “ Briana tilted her head and nodded , smiling . “ I like that . Come on let's go get his name engraved ! “ Briana grabbed hold of Sehun's hand and pulled him along . Sehun's eyes widened as he felt electricity run along his arm and to his chest . “ Hello , I would like to get my pet's name engraved please . “ The lady nodded and noticed their intertwined hands .

“ You and your boyfriend is buying a pet together ? How cute ~ “ The lady cooed and the two of them blushed . “ It's not like that- “  “ Aww , don't be shy ~ Here you can choose what time of collar you want and the colour . “ Briana shyly look at Sehun and wanted to take her hand away but he held on tighter . “ What's the name ? “ Briana quickly look away and cleared . “ Rufus . “

Briana bit her lips and shuffled . But she has to admit , it felt like her hand fits his and his warmth spreading through her . Sehun swallowed . He wasn't sure what he was doing , it was his first time doing this skinship . But he liked it with her . Really like it . “ Would you like to buy a dog house ? “ Sehun look up and saw the varieties of dog houses they displayed .

Briana turn to look at him and noticed him staring at one particular dog house .

Briana smiled and turn to the old lady . “ We would like that one please ? “ The old lady look to where she was pointing and chuckled . “ Well , that one miss you have to build it by yourself . “ Briana nodded and wanted to pick another one when- “ We'll take it . “ Briana turn to Sehun but he just look at her . “ I'll build it if you don't want to . “

Briana shake her head . “ I'll help . “ Sehun smiled and nodded at the old lady . The old lady smiled and said something to a worker and the worker walked away . “ She'll get the supplies you need . We can help you carry it back to your car . “ Sehun nodded . Briana tip-toed and looked for Rufus . Sehun noticed her shirt riding her up and looked around to see the guys looking at her stomach and legs .

Sehun scowled and pulled her to stand straight . Briana blinked at him and watched as he tug her shirt down and adjusted her plaid shirt . Briana look around and found the guys looking at her and they quickly look away . Briana chuckled and squeezed Sehun's hand . “ I think I'm decent now . “

Sehun shrugged and squatted down when he saw Rufus walking towards them . “ Hey Buddy . “ Rufus barked and wagged his tail . Hello Master . Sehun smiled and ran his hand on his body . Call me Sehun . Rufus barked and begged to be carried . Briana smiled and took him instead of Sehun . “ Hey Rufus . “ Don't talk to her , at least not yet .

Rufus whined but obliged . Briana just smiled and kissed his head . Rufus barked happily and kept saying how happy he was and how glad is he to be in her arms and such . Sehun chuckled and took the things that they bought . “ Let's go , we'll go to my place . “

Briana nodded . “ Come on , I'll help . “ Sehun pulled his arm back . “ No , you carry Rufus . “ Briana shake her head and put Rufus down . “ He can walk , come on I'll carry some . “ Sehun sighed and reluctantly gave her . Briana beamed and walked away with the goods , Rufus following her .

“ That girl is a keeper boy . “ Sehun look up and was shocked to see her . “ You should consider keeping that one closer , and don't pretend that nothing happened .”  A woman with blonde hair and white tips blew her nails checking the register . When a dove landed on her shoulder , Sehun knew who she is .

“ Lady Aphrodite . “ Aphrodite smiled and clapped her hands . “ So you do recognize me ! Hermes must have taught you some huh ? “ Sehun shake his head . “ I read . “ Aphrodite laughed and giggled . “ Oh I like boys like you ! So mysterious yet so kind at the same time ! “ Sehun sighed . “ Oh fine , I won't disturb you for long . I'm here to tell you that she's a keeper . “

Sehun raised his eyebrow . “ That's all ? “ Aphrodite laughed again . “ Oh honey , I'm the goddess of love ! I obviously need to do this once in a while , besides Ares is gone on an adventure again and I'm utterly bored up there at Olympus . “ Sehun nodded . “Well be gone now, it's not good manners to leave the girl alone for too long. “

With that , she vanished . Sehun looked out and saw Briana waiting by the car with Rufus in her arms . He quickly picked the goods and went out . Briana looked up and stood straight . “ What took you so long ? “ Sehun shake his head . “ I forgot something . “ Briana nodded and put Rufus down . Sehun and Briana placed all the items in the back and head to his house .
