Quidditch and Picnics   Her hair was flying in the air, wind whipping her face in an exhilarating way, she was almost there.  Just a few more… And finally,

“KANG HAS GOT THE SNITCH!” blared the announcer, “I REPEAT, KANG HAS GOT THE GOLDEN SNITCH! HUFFLEPUFF  WINS WITH 250 POINTS BEATING SLYTHERIN WHO ONLY GOT 190 POINTS!” Seulgi was grinning widely, her eyes shrinking into slits on her face, the crowd was shouting her name as she landed on the ground with a tumble and was quickly surrounded by her fellow hufflepuffs, receiving a pat and congratulations here and there.

"Seul, you were great!” commented one of her classmates. “Thanks!” Seulgi grinned some more, proud of their win. “PARTY IN THE HUFFLEPUFF COMMON ROOM!” shouted one of the older students as the whole lot of the crowd shouted with glee as they scuttled back to the castle to celebrate. Seulgi chose to be left behind for she wanted to change first before doing some partying. She didn’t get to leave her spot as quick as she wanted because people kept on coming towards her and congratulating her on her job well done, even her slytherin friend, Joy, has smiled at her and congratulated her with a friendly punch on the arm, before leaving. Once the crowd has thinned out and less and less students came to her, she decided that it was the right time to get changed. She her heels and was half-way to the changing rooms when she heard someone calling her. “Seul!~ Wait up!” Seulgi turned to look at the familiar face that was running towards her. She smiled and waited for her friend to catch up. “Hi, Wan-ah~” Seulgi patted the latter’s head, who was huffing and puffing from all the running. “Congratulations on winning! You were really great up there!” Wan-ah, or Wendy, beamed as she grabbed Seulgi’s hands that’s patting her head and held onto it. “Thank you~ I didn’t see you earlier though. I thought you weren’t going to watch?” Seulgi started to walk towards the changing room with Wendy by her side. “And miss you playing quidditch?! Like that’s ever going to happen!” Wendy rolled her eyes at that thought. Someone can tie her in the middle of the forbidden forest or throw her to the lake to fight the giant squid but nobody can stop her from cheering on and watching her favorite person in the whole entire universe play a game they are passionate about. “We’ll be playing Ravenclaw next.” Seulgi stated as they entered the changing rooms. Wendy sat down on one of the chairs and waited for Seulgi who entered a cubicle to change. “I know… I’m thinking of making a ‘SEULGI FIGHTING!~’ sign for your next match.” “.........Wendy…..isn’t that too much?” “Nope. Ooooh, or I can make Yeri wear a bear mask or something!” “Wendy...” Seulgi now emerged from the cubicle, fully changed into her hogwarts uniform, the yellow and black necktie tucked neatly under her vest, “I think you didn’t hear me earlier.. I said we’re playing Ravenclaw next… We’re playing against YOUR house next.” Wendy stood up and moved forward so she’s now a few inches away from Seulgi. She patted the taller girl’s cheek affectionately and sighed, “Oh, Seul, my sweet dumb bear,I don’t care about houses, I only care about you.” Seulgi grinned at the smaller one’s statement. “You’re too cute for words, Seungwan~ But you don’t have to do that for me. I know I’m your best friend and all but the other ravenclaws will probably bully you if you do that and I don’t want anything happening to my best friend!” Seulgi hugged Wendy who only sighed in defeat.   Wendy and Seulgi had met a little over a year before they received their first Hogwarts letter. Wendy had just move from Toronto while Seulgi from Korea almost just a week apart and had been neighbors ever since. Being the only korean family in the neighborhood, the two families quickly became close and it was no question that the two younger kids were quick to hit it off and become best friends. It was a bit odd at first for their parents at how quickly the two of them formed their friendship since they both shy away from other kids; but what they don’t know was the two had quickly become friends because they found something in common that the other kids back in their hometown didn’t have--their blossoming magical powers-- that neither of them can’t quite control yet. Imagine the big shock when their parents found out that the two have been admitted to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, they have fussed over them for a while but understood the circumstances quickly. And now in their sixth year at Hogwarts, Seulgi had become the seeker for the hufflepuff quidditch team and had been appointed as prefect whilst Wendy’s top of all her classes and has also been appointed as prefect for the Ravenclaw house.
“Seul, you know that they can’t bully me or I’ll give them detention.” “and then they’ll hate you even more!”Seulgi raised her arms in protest. Wendy rolled her eyes. She can’t win this type of argument with Seulgi, mostly because the latter is giving her that cute and stupid, in her opinion, wide-eyed look, and now because her body language had just admitted defeat(slouched shoulder, arms crossed, eyes glaring), Seulgi’s face turned into a wide--stupid-- grin that Wendy really can’t help but adore and she would probably give anything Seulgi asked as long as she gets that smile in return. Yes, everyone, Wendy has a huge crush on her best friend. Typical, but in her defense, her best friend is really cute and adorable that everyone who meets her can’t help but like her. Which is true. Seulgi has a lot of fangirls and fanboys which Wendy would like to hex if they’ve gotten too close, but being a prefect and all, well, she’s got to be a good example, right? “Let’s go celebrate!” Seulgi grinned some more, her eyes disappearing, as she hooked arms with Wendy. “You know, I’m not allowed in your common room...” “Who says anything about celebrating in my common room?” Seulgi rose her eyebrow at Wendy. “Then wher--” “First, let’s go down to the kitchens! I’ll ask Winky to give us some of those pudding that you like and butter beer!~” Seulgi exclaimed happily as they entered  the castle and quickly made their way down to the kitchens. “Then we can go sit by the lake and have a mini picnic~” “Like a date?” Wendy whispered. “OOH, we can invite Irene unnie, Joy, and Yeri!” “oh, not like a date.” Wendy mumbled dejectedly as they entered the kitchen and was surrounded immediately by happy house elves. “Would the misses like anything?” asked one elf, looking at them with wide shiny eyes. “Misses Seulgi miss!!” A house elf, pushed her way through the crowd and stopped in front of Seulgi and Wendy happily. “Hello, Winky~” Seulgi greeted while Wendy smiled and gave a small hi to the house elf. “Yes, Miss Seulgi miss, what can Winky help you with?” “We were planning to have a picnic--” at that word, tons of different kinds of food had appeared and floated towards Seulgi and Wendy as all the house elves looked at them excitedly. “Which one would misses like? There is a lot here--oh wait, i shall get misses a basket where she can put the--” and with a snap of her finger, a picnic basket appeared. “er---” Wendy started, “isn’t this food too much?” she whispered to Seulgi who only smiled and  knelt down, so that she’s just a bit taller than the elves. “We would just like some of those pudding that Wendy likes” she glanced up at Wendy and gave a wink which made the latter’s face flush pink, “ooh and maybe some of those” she pointed at something, “for unnie and these sweets for Joy and Yeri… and some butter beers?” “Right away, misses Seulgi miss!” Winky clapped her hand excitedly as she gathered everything in a flash and handed it to Seulgi happily. Seulgi patted the the elf’s head affectionately and thanked the others continuously before exiting the kitchen with Wendy in tow. “Winky loves you.” Wendy stated. Seulgi laughed as they began their way towards the lake. “She’s like that to everyone.” “No, she treats you special, being her missus and all.” Wendy smiled at Seulgi remembering their first year at Hogwarts when Seulgi was being dodgy all of a sudden and she thought that she was avoiding her because they were placed on different houses and it wasn’t until she had cornered Seulgi and cried her eyes out, saying sorry for not being in the same house, that Seulgi finally let her in on the secret but not before comforting Wendy and telling her that she’s not mad or angry that they were placed in a different house(because seriously, it’s no one’s fault!) and to not be stupid because Seulgi loves her unconditionally. Seulgi had brought her down to the kitchens and almost screamed when she was met with hundreds of wide-eyed elves. Apparently, Seulgi was trying to help Winky, who was wasting her life away drinking butter beer and being really drunk, sober up.
