“Yah! Jiyeon-ah you have been in there for half an hour. It does not take you that long to clean your body.” Seoyul called, knocking on the door while she waited to brush her teeth post breakfast.

“It does. I don’t look this beautiful without taking time!” The woman stressed behind the door, the sink faucet turning on and the sound of water splashing filling the void after her words.

“If you had gotten up earlier this would not be a problem.” Seoyul chided her. “How long do you think you’ll be?”

“Unnie, I’m still on the scrub. I can’t rush otherwise my skin will break out.” She whined back to the leader, who just sighed at the door in slight frustration.

“Can I just get my toothbrush, so I can brush my teeth out here?” The leader tried, still looking at the door in slight frustration.

“I’ll open the door then!” Jiyeon agreed quickly, the water not turning off leaving any signs of her moving silent. Then the door handle clicked, relieving Seoyul’s wait as the door opened to reveal a wet faced Jiyeon, hair in a towel and body only hidden by a robe tied at the waist.

“Yah beagle, you have less then half an hour to be ready, dressed and feed before we have to go to the shooting today.” The leader said, noting her disorganised form before walking straight to the toothbrushes and toothpaste to brush her teeth.

“I will be, I just have to finish my face. Do my hair, um, get dressed and have breakfast, then brush my teeth...” Jiyeon admitted, quickly moving back to continue her facial regime.

“That’s why.” Seoyul just frowned at the member next to her. The words had the pair lapse into silence, Jiyeon now fully refocused on her face and beauty products while Seoyul watched in silence, finding nothing better to do while brushing her teeth.

The peacefulness only broken by Jungah, who bounded into the room with a ringing phone in hand. Looking at both occupants only to focus on Jiyeon.

“Unnie! Jiyeon unnie, Misoo unnie was playing on your phone because Sarang is other bathroom and then you got a call. But it was in Mandarin, so Gyuri unnie who’s in the lounge translated it and said it was ‘Old Man’ calling you. But then it stopped ringing, so we were weren’t going to bring it, but then it started ringing again from the same person so we brought it to you!” She brightly, explaining the story of how she managed to happen to have the phone.

“Oh really? Why so early? “ Said woman looking over to the phone in confusion, “can you press answer, and put it on loudspeaker Jungah?” Jiyeon said apologetically, holding up her hands and displaying the beauty cream laden on it.

“I can unnie!” Jungah nodded happily, pressing her fingers against the glass quickly and then holding it close to Jiyeon so she could speak.

“Yah you old man! Why are you calling me so early in the morning? Aren’t you supposed to be in China?” Jiyeon said quickly, having switched into Mandarin and confusing both occupants in the room.

“Yue is that anyway to treat your favourite person? If you don’t want me to wish you luck then I don’t have to call.” The male voice teased on the other end, still keeping up the Mandarin leaving the conversation private to anyone who didn’t speak the language.

“It’s only because I love you, but I seriously have to get ready. I have things to do too.” The beagle replied back, also whining into the phone at the male.

“I know you do, I love you too. Then should I call back later?” It asked again, leaving Jiyeon to pause a little bit as she leaned further into the mirror to inspect her skin.

“I’ll call you back later Hanhan, talk to you later.” Jiyeon confirmed, washing off her hands and taking the phone off Jungah despite the dripping wet hands.

“Love you babe.”

“Love you too Hanhan.” Jiyeon said back, hanging up and then smiling at the other two.

“Unnie has a boyfriend! Unnie has a boyfriend! Even I know that means I love you.” Jungah chanted, clapping as she smiled deviously at the elder.

“Yah it could be family too!” Jiyeon countered, finally speaking something the two occupants understood. “Why is it always a boyfriend. Every time I’m on the phone...” She pouted a little, moving out of the way for Seoyul to rinse out.

“Because you very obviously have one.” The leader stated, followed by nodding from Jungah who also agreed like the rest of the group who all practically knew she was dating someone.

“Out!” Jiyeon cut off the pair, shooing them out of the door again. “I still have to finish!” She said, refocusing their attention on something completely different. Shutting the door right behind the leader.

“You haven’t denied it! It means it’s true!” Jungah sung from the other side of the door to the other vocalist.

“Cheeky brat.”
