- Monday morning - 

 

" Arete wake up its time for school ." Sara said 

School ? I go to school . 

" Arete up !." Sara said 

" Okay okay I'm up ." I said 

" Good get dress and don't forget to wash your face and brush your teeth ." She said 

" Alright ." I said as I got of bed 

I look at the clock its say 5:50am. I walk to the bathroom to get ready for school. Why should I go to school I mean the school is probably ruthless ?. I thought as I dress myself in khakis with stripe down the side of the legs and for white button up shirt, that was three buttons with the school logo on it. Their blue button up blazer also with their school logo. When I stroll out of my room everyone is staring at me well except Tao. 

" You know, you may have lost and gain some of memories but you still you ." Kris said 

" What does that suppose to mean ?." I ask 

" On the first day of school that how you'd look when you met me, Tao, and Kai ." Kris explained 

" Oh ." I said 

Yet why do I get this peculiar feeling in my gut that something big and huge is gonna happen today ?. I cannot explain the feeling I just know that something is gonna happen today I do not when or how. 

I just do but if I tell them, they would want a explanation on this feeling but I cannot provide the answer. 

" Arete we're here ." Sara said 

I pull myself out of my thoughts and I entered reality at least for awhile though I shouldn't it because this reality is painful. Especially if you dwell on the past even though you should live present but there are things that I carry and even though people say its not my fault when in truth, it is my fault. I look at the school. 

It's big, big enough to hide in. 

I look around And I see there's car coming and a student is about walking. I sprint towards the student. 

" ARETE !." Sara screams 

I still ran to make it in time. I grab the person by the hand twisted him around and into me before the car came. But the driver wailed on the horn because I saved him from being hit and it's a good thing I made it in time. If I was just a minute late, he could've been injured. I hear running footsteps but me I'm focusing on my breathing its heavy due to the adrenaline rush I got from saving this person. I look at the dude and wondered if he's okay. 

" Are you okay ?." I ask 

He doesn't say anything. 

" Are you okay ?." I ask again 

He's pale and then faints in my arms.

" Sara, where's nurse office ?." I ask 

" It's on first floor, three doors down on the left ." She said 

I pick up unconscious student and carried him to the nurse office but as I walk to the nurse office I noticed a teacher staring at me and why ?. Once I reached nurse office and I laid the student on the bed I saw her name tag. Her name is Areum Kang.

" What happened ?." She said 

" He fainted due to the state of shock of almost being hit by car just moments ago ." I explained 

" Okay, I'll make sure that he finds you and thank you's properly ." She said 

" There's no need ." I said 

" But still my son should at least have his manners ." She said 

" What ! He's your son ." I said shocked 

" Yup and thank you for saving him ." She said sniffling 

" You're welcome ." I said 

She nods 

" I'll see you later Arete for your check up ." She said 

" I'm guessing the school knows what happened ." I said 

" Yes but you being an important person to us, we shut down for whole year ." She said 

" What ! Why ?." I ask 

" I don't know there's something about you that shows how very important you are to us ." She said 

Hmm really ?.

" Well, I should get going I've AP Music for first period ." I said 

" Ok, but there's a new teacher for one of your classes ." She said

She's knows my schedule. 

" Really ? Which one ?." I ask 

" I believe AP Government History ." She said 

" Lemme me guess the teacher is male ." I said 

" Yes and he's from America ." She said 

" Where in America ?." I ask 

" Los Angeles, California ." She said 

" That's where I'm from ." I said 

" Oh, really ." She said 

" Yeah, but anyway I have to go now but I'll see you later ." I said as I left the office
