Jongdae opened his heavy eyes and stared at the ceiling before sighing and turning over onto his side. His lower side ached, causing him to exhale painfully. He closed his eyes and forced the pain to subside.
Something rustled in the sheets next to him, and he turned to see Baekhyun staring with wide eyes.
Jongdae stared back, his eyes equally as wide.
“Holy…” he whispered.
“Did we…?” Baekhyun trailed off.
Jongdae scooted off the bed and squeaked as he fell. He rubbed his sore and blinked as he looked up to see Baekhyun continuing to stare at him. He quickly grabbed the blanket and covered his bare body. “Q-quit staring!”
“Hm?” Baekhyun tilted his head to the side before smiling. “Why not? You’re cute when you’re embarrassed.”
Jongdae could feel his cheeks heat up. “Get out!”
“This isn’t your room, bro,” Baekhyun chuckled.
Jongdae looked around for the first time and blinked. “W-well…it’s not yours either!” he stammered.
“Hm, true,” Baekhyun replied before slipping out of bed.
Jongdae watched him with wide eyes as he began to dress himself. Baekhyun’s pale skin looked intriguing, in a way. He almost wanted to have him stop. He inwardly slapped himself. Get yourself together, Jongdae! Stop being so dirty!
Baekhyun looked up and smiled. “Like what you see?”
The other looked away and gulped nervously. “Um…”
“It’s okay if you don’t,” Baekhyun said, shrugging. “I’m going to start building up my body soon. Manager-hyung thinks I look too scrawny.”
“Well,” Jongdae started. “You don’t look like a y beast, but…” He rubbed the nape of his neck awkwardly. “I mean, your skin is pretty.”
Baekhyun grinned but said nothing.
Jongdae got dressed as Baekhyun disappeared into the restroom. Thoughts buzzed through his head as he pulled his pants on.
How come he didn’t say anything?
Was he disappointed with my compliment?
Maybe I can talk to him later.
Agh, but we just did it! In all honestly, Jongdae didn’t want to even look at Baekhyun in the eye for a while. It wasn’t that he didn’t like the night before, but he just felt awkward about it. He needed time to let it sink in a bit.
As soon as they were dressed and fixed, they headed back up to the dorm, where Sehun opened the door.
“Ohhh…” he cooed. “I see you guys were out having fun.” He wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.
“Ew, no,” Jongdae said before slapping Sehun away. “We were just…”
“Going at it hard,” Baekhyun finished with a wink.
Sehun squealed loudly and started blushing. “You guys are too much,” he laughed. “So how was it? Was it fun? Did it hurt? How did it feel to have his-?”
“What’s going on?” Jongin grumbled as he groggily made his way to the fridge for some juice.
“Our two love-hyungs were at it last night!” Sehun exclaimed.
All at once, Jongin’s eyes lit up, and he joined Sehun in a weird combination of squealing and yelling loudly, which woke the other members up. They made their way to the front door, where most of the commotion was at, and weren’t surprised to find Jongdae and Baekhyun to be the cause of it. The older ones just chuckled, and the leaders shook their heads, but none could deny that their love was true.

Weeks passed, and the boys started to get busier and busier. With promotions and everything setting in for Growl, and now their newest Christmas release, Miracles in December, they were busier than ever. Most times, the members didn’t even see each other. Jongdae was half thankful for Showtime taking up so much of their schedule because it meant he could be with Baekhyun one second longer.
In no time, they were filming the 6th episode, just after Christmas. Jongdae thought it was nice to get out of the studio with the group. It had been a while since they even went out for a simple bubble tea errand.
Jongdae kept his fur hat on his head as he sat on the couch, watching the group decide who would go to the market and buy some stuff to eat for dinner later. They easily chose Chanyeol, Suho and Luhan, who left almost immediately after being chosen.
Jongdae sat on the couch alone as some of the members decided to take a nap in the bedrooms. He buried himself in his sweater and was about to close his eyes, only to have Baekhyun interrupt him.
“Chen-ah, are you good at cooking rice?” he asked.
Jongdae didn’t bother looking up from his phone. “I’m good at measuring the water. Why?”
