Jongdae looked up from his phone as he watched Baekhyun stagger in.  He hurriedly got up and caught him before he could fall and hurt himself.  The smell of alcohol hit his nose as Baekhyun buried his nose into Jongdae’s neck.  

“B-Baek…?” Jongdae breathed.  “Baekhyun, what’s wrong?”  He struggled as Baekhyun’s dead weight seemed to be getting heavier.  “Did you drink?”

“Needed to relieve some stress,” Baekhyun slurred.  “Need…bed…”

Jongdae frowned.  “Yeah, no , Sherlock,” he muttered as he helped Baekhyun to his room.  

The other collapsed face first on his bed, squirming as Jongdae took off his shoes and drew his blanket over him.  His face was blushing with drunkenness as Jongdae kissed his forehead.  

“Sleep, okay?” he said.  “Sweet dreams, angel.”

When he heard a snore from Baekhyun, he smiled before making his way out of the room.

“Taeyeon…noona…”

Jongdae turned around to see him murmuring in his sleep.  He frowned before closing the door, but even through the closed door, he heard the words he thought were reserved for only him.

“I love you.”

Baekhyun got up the next morning and was greeted by an empty dorm, if it weren’t for Joonmyun drinking his coffee in the kitchen.  

“Where’s Jongdae?” Baekhyun asked.

Joonmyun pursed his lips.  “He went down to the practice room.  He wanted to practice the choreo one last time before the video shoot tomorrow.”  He took a sip of his coffee, a worried look in his gaze.  “You guys didn’t fight, did you?”

Baekhyun looked confused.  “No,” he said.  He grabbed his sweatshirt and his phone and headed towards the door.  “Thanks, hyung.”

The door closed behind him, leaving Joonmyun by himself.  

“Hm, strange…” he muttered to himself before checking the newsfeed in his phone.  His eyes widened when he came across a strange headline, causing him to jump up and run after Baekhyun with sheer panic pulsing through his system.

“Good!” the dance coach called out as he stopped the music.  “I don’t know why you’re worried, Jongdae.  Your form is already a thousand times better.  The music show cameras will love you tomorrow.”

Jongdae smiled as he caught his breath.  The choreographies were getting harder with each comeback, but he loved a good challenge, especially now that there were other groups with challenging dances, like GOT7 and BTS.
