"Guys, did you hear about the talent show?" Waezi asked.   "Talent show? How do you find out things so fast?" Milky asked.   "There's this thing called, my amazing phone," Waezi chuckled.   "I would try out but I would rather study," A.J. said, looking back at her book.   "Areum, we should try out together! We could do a dance cover!" Kaia said.   "Dance cover? Of what?" She asked in reply.   "BTS or something, I'm not that sure... But wouldn't it be fun?" Kaia asked, her eyes lighting up at the thought.   "It would be fun but..."   "But what? It better be a good reason because I know you love dancing."   "But... I have stage fright..." Areum sighed due to embarrassment.   "You have stage fright? Since when?" Waezi asked.   "Stage fright is really bad for those who like to perform," A.J. said, putting down her book.   "I don't know if I should tell you..." Areum said, looking down at her feet.   "Come on Ari, tell us! We're your best friends, you can trust us," Kaia smiled.   Areum took a quick gulp, "Well, when I was in 4th grade..."           "Annyeonghaseyo students! It's time for the class talent show!" The teacher smiled.       The students cheered in excitement except for one. A 9 year old Areum sat by herself, isolated from the others for 2 reasons. One of them being from her claustrophobia of being in crowded spaces. The other being her uttermost shyness. Yes, Woo Areum was one of the shyest students in her class. Being careful of how she sat, due to her skirt mostly, she hugged her knees to her chest and rested her head on top, waiting nervously as her teacher called up students one by one to show their talents.   Most of them performed in groups, singing or dancing, laughing together in joy once finished, passing high fives around. Some played instruments, earning loud applauses from the others, including the teacher.        "Arraso, we've done everyone except... Areum. Areum? What will you be doing?" Her teacher asked.   "I- I... Uh... S-sing and d-dance?" Areum answered quietly, slowly getting up.   "Sounds wonderful! Have fun Areum, arraso?" Her teacher smiled.   "N-neh..." Areum said quietly.       The music , playing an upbeat tune. She started singing to the song quietly, standing still while doing so. Her voice cracked multiple times, earning laughs from her classmates. She winced mentally from the laughs but quietly continued. The song came to a breakdown and Areum stopped her singing and began to slowly dance. She was stiff at first but soon didn't hear the music anymore, and let her moves just be controlled by the song. But that wasn't the end, no. She took one step, slipped and fell to the floor, her skirt not being her friend at the time.    There was a pause of silence. Soon enough, the room was filled with laughing students. Not laughing with Areum but, laughing at her. Her eyes welled with tears before she darted out of the room, running straight for the bathroom to cry by herself. She always had done that, and no one cared.
