Living Story"Good." His fingers closed around the girls wrists and he gently repositioned her. Soyung's body shook slightly, her eyes glaring into the punching bag in front of her and the warm touch of Sihyoung keeping her in reality. She was so angry that everytime someone tried to talk to her, she would mutter things under her breath and make a bad impression. At first Sihyoung got mad at her, lecturing her about how if she wanted to be here in the hideout she had to behave, but he didn't feel that way when she whispered her everything to him. His gaze lost its sharpness when she expressed how hard it was to be with someone who never would be able to know everything about her. So he took her to a large room, isolating them from the stray members walking around the base and making sure nobody could interrupt them. After a couple days of being seen around with her, Sihyoung seemed to become pestered by the people around him, their questions constantly reaching their ears.
"You know, I think I'm overreacting." Soyung murmured, letting him lead her hands to press against the rough material, and she turned her head to look at him.
"I think that you just need time to cool down." Sihyoung took a step back from her, sighing as she immediately went back to punching the item. He decided the first step to getting her used to the conditions was teaching her how to defend herself, and what a perfect opportunity.
"Really? I think I'm just being a ." A frown pulled at her face at the rather impressive hook she landed, and Sihyoung let out a breathless laugh.
"You know I really don't like it when you talk down about yourself." He leaned against the wall, crossing his arms to continue watching her beat up the inanimate object. Soyung shrugged her shoulders, before shaking her hands about and turning to look at him.
"Too bad." She was beginning to become a different person, who was so concerned with changing herself that she almost forgot about who was around.
"You're lucky I like you." He poked her forehead softly, teasingly pushing her backwards then wandering over to a table. "Are you done beating up that poor bag? We have some real work to do." Sihyoung was busy shuffling around the room, picking up his bag from the floor and prying it open. Soyung stared at the punching bag, hitting it a few more times for good measures before taking a step back and turning to look at him.
"Real work?" She ripped the thin gloves off of her hands and tossed them in his direction, knowing he was going to catch them anyways. Sihyoung was shoving them into his bag before he took out a folder and shoved it in her general direction. He was worried she may lose herself in this newfound emotion, that she would become a new person and he could not bring her back.
"You don't think we're just going to punch Gina in the head and call it a day right? She's tricky, we need to be trickier." He slung the bag onto his shoulder, resting his side against the table and then looking at her. Soyung's eyes scanned the folder, her fingers gripping at the pieces of paper and then flipping it open. There was a while file on the girl, and she quickly looked up at him
"Where did you even get this?" There were medical records in here, even records of her old houses and numbers from her fathers earning.
Soyung turned the page, sight flooded with all the history from dates that Gina had gone to the therapist and psychologist. Her jaw dropped, eyes widening and palms sweating. How did he get these secure documents? She was convinced she broke into a cold sweat and she looked at his low lit figure about ten feet away from her. His eyes were barely visible, but she could see his playful lips twisting and turning into smirk. Icy fingers dug their claws into her skin, cold shivers ran up her spine. Soyung was suddenly very conscious of the decisions she has made lately, and regret would have drowned her. How did she manage to be alone in a dark room with this man? Did he look up her records? How much does he know? Does he know about her dad? Will he use it against her? Soyung clenched her fists, shutting the folder and then averting her gaze to her shoes.
"This isn't right. We can't just go through her personal records like this... It's wrong to look at such private things." He was crossing the room to get to her, and her shoulders shot up in alertness.
"When has Gina ever acted right and just?" Sihyoung did make a point, but the way his eyes shimmered dangerously and he rolled his eyes made him seem worse.
"We don't have to stoop to her level."
"Sweetie. We need to go even lower if we're going to stop her, and don't friends help each other?" He placed a large hand on her shoulder, squeezing just slightly, drawing her in close when her mind screamed at her to run away.
"Lower than Gina?"
"Exactly."
