Living StorySoyung slept in today, not caring she would be late for science class. She felt like death itself, she hadn't freshened up for a couple of days, and hadn't left her room for more than twenty minutes. Her eyes were puffy, because she didn't even fight the fact she was stuck in despair. She was sad because she hadn't spoke to Kyungil, she was mad because she said that to him, she was sad her best friend was in her first relationship and she wasn't there to be happy with her, she was sad, so sad. Laying in her sheets crumpled like her existence, she rolled over on to her side and glanced carelessly out of the window across the room. It was just beginning to turn into autumn, where the happy green leaves would shrivel into curled up rusty colored plants. Her first thought was that she wished she could be happy in his season, but also the next thought was that she should get more blankets make her room the coziest it could be. Standing up from her messy bed, she shivered the moment one of her bare feet touched the hardwood floor. That's when she noticed she lost one of her socks while sleeping, and she scavenged around the bed sheets before she could find it. Placing it back on, she walked over to her closet and pulled the doors open. At the bottom corner was a pile of different blankets, in which she took out a quilt and a fuzzy white blanket. Sighing to herself, the girl slouched her way over to the bed and threw off the messy blankets, starting fresh and putting new sheets on.
After half an hour, she was back laying on her newly made bed, a candle burning and her window open, soft dewy air flowing through the opening and pushing the light curtains backwards. Soyung stared up at the ceiling, rubbing at her eyes as she decided she should probably try to get it together, she shouldn't let this get her down. She was going to text her best friend, and tell her she was so happy for her, and that she was so sorry she couldn't be there to smile with her, and how she was too cowardly to even think about looking at Kyungil again. She was about to type that all out, when her doorbell rang and she was forced to sit up on her bed. Leaving her phone there, she threw her white door open and rushed down the stairs, careful not to slip down them with her wooly socks. When she got to the front door, she didn't care to look through the peephole, and only unlocked it and opened it. She looked up to see who it was, and instantly she regretted it all. There he stood, Kyungil. She was silent for a while, frowning gently as her eyes found themselves looking down at the concrete steps.
"Soyung, Hi. I just came by because I was worried. You haven't been going to school lately, and Minjae said she hadn't heard from you." He started the conversation, his voice calm and quiet, making the girl gently peeking up to look at his expression. His brows were furrowed, and he wore a soft natural frown. Her eyes glanced over his face, then trailing back up to look straight into his eyes. Soyung blinked, and then pushed hair back from her face.
"Hello Oppa. I'm sick, I was yesterday. But I'm okay now. I haven't had the strength to talk to anyone, I'm sort of dizzy, and am exhausted." She spoke, hiding her hands behind her back, her fingers fiddling with the hem of her sweater. "I guess since I was so sickly I
