Living StorySoyung set the hot curling iron down on her vanity, looking at the circular mirror staring back at her and loosening the curls in her hair. Tonight was the party, and in 20 minutes Kyungil would be here to pick her up. Biting at her bottom lip, the girl sprayed hairspray over the romantic curls and went to get dressed. She wanted Kyungil to look at her and be surprised, but at the same time only wanted his eyes so she had to be careful. After careful minutes of staring at the dresses she had, she made up her mind and went to change. A pure white dress, that was a little short but was loose, small cutouts on either side of it and the straps tied behind her neck. Soyung wondered if the dress was too risky, though maybe because Kyungil was an older boy it wouldn't be an issue. Puffing out her cheeks, she went straight to her vanity again, touching up her makeup one last time. Soyung was blending her eyeshadow, the smoky eye looking quite good for her first time, and the fake lashes were natural enough. As she put a short chained necklace on, she was busy checking herself out in the mirror when her phone rang. Gasping, she hesitated to grab it, and then rushed to find it under the mess of clothes.
"Hello?" She made it sound like a question, even though she saw his contact and knew it was him.
"Hey baby, I'm outside." His voice made her body temperature rise, the girl nodded even though he couldn't see her and she rushed to get into her flats. Soyung was going to wear heels at the party, but didn't want to wear them on the way.
"I'm just coming down the stairs." She cooed, setting the phone down and shoving it into her thin strapped bag. Soyung scooped her heels from the door, pushing it open and locking the door behind her. Thankfully, both her parents were at work tonight and wouldn't question her makeup and outfit choice. She liked it, it wasn't often she got to dress up and be flirty, and it made her feel good. Soyung was tiptoeing down the sidewalk, watching the boy's car as he stepped out and stopped breathing.
To Kyungil, the girl was absolutely perfect. The dress hugged her curves just perfectly, but not too much that he had to watch everyone who passed her to make sure they weren't stealing looks in ersion, her hair looked effortless, little did he know it took her almost an hour and she was literally glowing. He deemed her an angel at this moment, walking over to her and opening his arms for a hug. Soyung moved faster, throwing her arms around him and nuzzling into his neck.
"Hi, I've been looking forward to this." She admitted shyly, smiling against the skin of his neck as she inhaled deeply. She would never get tired of his scent, how manly and like home he smelt. Kyungil smirked gently, wrapping his arms around her waist perfectly and pulling her closer.
"You look ing amazing." He mumbled, the girl smiling so big her cheeks hurt and she playfully hit at his chest.
"Oh stop it." She pulled back to look at him, eyes trailing over his casual clothes, stopping at his collarbones and suddenly she blushed deeply. He never failed to amaze her, even with just a plain shirt and black pants, a dark varsity jacket. "You also look...handsome." She cupped his face gently, placing a soft kiss on his lips, earning a chuckle from him.
"I am nothing compared to your beauty."
"Shh, let's go and you can tell me all about it at the party."
Kyungil her hand, leading her through the large house and crowd of people. The music loud, pounding into her eardrums and making her feel like she should be sweating already. The bass hurt her chest, and she scrunched her nose as the scent of so many things. Drugs, smoke, alcohol, body sweat and probably someone's sickness. Soyung held onto him tightly, the heels giving her a bit more confidence and the looks she got gave her a small smile. Kyungil lead her toward the stairs, u
