20 ; Drown in the corrupt
Living StoryShe didn't want to leave her room, not after yesterday, not after the destructive thoughts and not after the way she regretted every syllable she said that day. Soyung felt she was on the edge of something, like if she wanted to take a step forward she would no longer be on that edge. Frowning deeply, the girl stared up at her ceiling with blank eyes. Turns out she had actually became sick, she had already thrown up twice and it was 10am. She skipped school, her mother immediately going to get her medicine and Soyung's favourite kind of tea to ensure her daughter had a speedy recovery and of course so she could rest all day. The teenager laid there, rolling over on to her side and wrapping her arms around her own stomach, she hadn't eaten anything, scared she might end up being sick again and she really didn't like the feeling of puking, she wasn't sure anyone did. Soyung didn't know how to feel, because yesterday at 10pm Minjae had told her how much she liked Jaeho and how they were together now, and how they went out for ice cream later that day. Of course she was happy for her best friend, but every time she tried to look at her phone and text her back, her eyes burned and she forced herself to tuck it away under her pillow.
Rolling over on to her stomach, the girl moved hair out of her face and took a deep breath. It felt as though it rattled through her bones from a simple breath, and she figured she should go get some fresh air. Rolling off toward the side of her bed, she slowly sat up, a groan leaving the back of . For a moment, Soyung wondered how her best friend was doing, if she was okay in school, if Jaeho was protecting her or if she was happy. She found herself weakly smiling, because knowing Minjae had someone always looking out for her made some of the weight fall off her shoulders. Finally getting up, she ran her fingers through her messy hair and hobbled over to the bathroom. Her bathroom was a mix of many perfumes, because she was trying to make sure it didn't smell like her sickness. Coughing as she inhaled a sprit of vanilla sugar scented perfume, she scrunched her nose and continued on to brush her teeth.
Pulling grey sweatpants on to her legs, the girl slightly stumbled when reaching down to fix her sock which was half falling off. She was going to go for a walk, get some fresh air and some exercise and hopefully stretch out her tired body. Walking down the stairs quietly, she peeked down at her phone, which hadn't gotten a notification since earlier this morning. Minjae texted her before school started, asking where she was and if she was okay. No one else had talked to her. Well Yijeong sent her a gif of a rabbit and told her to have a good day and to get well. She was glad two people cared about her. She frowned a bit, remembering that Kyungil was supposed to care about her. What happened to that?
Walking out the door, she shoved her hands in her loose pockets and began her way down the street. It was a bit chilly outside, but not enough to make her want to rush inside and drink something hot. Instead she let her wrists get cold, and her cold legs slightly tingle. She took a path she always went down, by the convenience store and toward the library. She breathed out, a small cloud in front of her before she inhaled. The cold air felt good in her sad lungs, and she smiled to herself. Almost relieved she was able to be alone for once in her l
