“Look who've we got here. I thought you will NOT be coming tonight either..?”

The man, whom she supposed was Mr Kim as what Seunghyun has addressed, snickered.

Ha-Eun did not have a good feeling for this man at the very first glance.

He looked just the opposite of Seunghyun.

He was short, not fine-looking and was on the plump side.

And his attitude was nasty.

“My bad, my bad Mr Kim! Something cropped up and so I have to miss your function yesterday. I’m so sorry about this….”

Seunghyun apologized and grabbed a toast for Mr Kim quickly.

It was rare to see Seunghyun putting down his ego like this, and that only meant how important Mr Kim is.

“So Top, what’s so important that you could give up my function for..?”

Mr Kim probed as he took the drink from him.

“Well….some of my personal stuff.…”

Seunghyun explained briefly, obviously not intending to let him know about the real reason.

“Personal stuff yea….anyway…I've seen your revised contract…and I guess I should thank your personal stuff that I got the price by one million USD lesser huh!”

Mr Kim did not seem to be too satisfied over his answer and gave an awful laugh.

Ha-Eun gulped over what she had heard.

One million USD dollars gone?

Just because they missed one ing function yesterday?

“And who’s this beautiful lady standing here?”

Mr Kim shifted his attention to Ha-Eun suddenly.

“She’s my lady…”

Seunghyun introduced briefly, unlike before when he presented her to Mr and Mrs Anderson previously.

“Top….I’m asking her…not you….can’t I have a little talk with her?”

Mr Kim insisted and looked at Ha-Eun amusingly.

“I’m Kim Ha-Eun! Very nice to see you here, Sir!”

Ha-Eun forced out a smile and bowed at the irritating man in front of her.

“Can I offer you a drink, beautiful..?”

Mr Kim smirked as he took a drink from the attendant who walked passed.

Seunghyun was about to speak up when Ha-Eun stopped him.

She already costed him to lose one million, and she knew he could not afford to offend this man further.

“Of course…a toast to you Mr Kim!”

Ha-Eun greeted and gulped down the alcohol.

“You got yourself an awesome lady, Top! Have another one, beautiful….”

Mr Kim chuckled as he signalled another attendant nearby.

Ha-Eun took 2 more drinks before Seunghyun decided to stop her.

“I’m sorry Mr Kim but my wife doesn’t drink. Can I take her place instead?”

Seunghyun offered when Mr Kim was about to pass Ha-Eun another glass.

“I see I see….How can I forget Top is a doting husband? Let's show some of your sincerity by finishing this, shall we..?”

Ha-Eun was still trying to digest what h
