I'm so glad I made the decision to spend the day here. I just hope there's no weirdos around. Oh well, main thing is that I get to unwind and relax. It's just been too stressful lately.
It's been a while since the last time I've felt the breeze blow my hair, tickling my nose like this. The fresh air that the trees emanate is heavenly. I could just stay like this forever.
"Excuse me miss, but is it okay if I sit next to you? You seemed so deep in thought and there's no other benches around."
A deep voice suddenly interrupted my thoughts. As I looked up a tall figure was blocking my view of the mountains. I felt my heart skip a beat, I think it was the sound of his voice that made it do that.
"Um yeah, I was on my way already. You can have the whole bench if you want." I then proceeded to grab my jacket and bag and stood up, ready to leave when that deep voice stopped me.
"I didn't mean to chase you away miss, if I'm intruding your space then I'll leave."
His voice sounded so sincere that it gave my conscience a pang of guilt. "O..oh no, p..please don't. I was really on my way." Was I stuttering? Since when do I stutter?
I could spot a faint smile on his lips before he said, "Please, I don't bite. I won't be able to sleep if I knew I scared someone away. Just stay for a moment so I won't feel bad."
