Setting: Cafe AU || Notes: Short drabble of flirty HyukBin, lol
Hongbin started his day like usual as a barista at the café that owned by his cousin, Hakyeon. He really loved coffee art since middle school and kind of telling his family he wanted to learn it seriously when he was a senior in high school. Coincidently, Hakyeon was thinking open a business after he graduated college and he had his own circle of friends that learnt about coffee art. With Hakyeon opening a café and hired his own friends to be his worker, Hongbin joined the café later after he graduated his high school and learnt everything from Hakyeon’s friends, named Taekwoon and Minhyuk.
Hongbin greeted every customer today with a smile without fail. Hakyeon wasn’t in and the café was only run by him and Taekwoon as Minhyuk also didn’t come, Hongbin bet Hakyeon and Minhyuk were actually on dates. Luckily two months ago, Taekwoon decided to persuade (read: threaten) Hakyeon to hire a part-timer to do simple tasks like cleaning the table after customer left and also looked after the counter if there’s too many orders they needed to do – two pairs of hands couldn’t fulfil that. Taekwoon had enough of Hakyeon’s constant missing in which Minhyuk will be missing too, since the two started to date few months ago. Hongbin actually was grateful to Taekwoon who braved enough to step up because he also felt tired. Now that they had Wonsik, the part-timer, he didn’t really care if suddenly Hakyeon and Minhyuk were missing from work again.
“Welcome, what should I get you?” Hongbin without fail said with a smile as he blinked few times, to adjust the light. Their entrance gave so much light inside during the morning in which they always had trouble to look at the coming customer to the counter. Until the customer stood at a certain spot that helped blocking the bright light, they couldn’t see the face. Luckily their action of blinking didn’t seem inappropriate to the customer thou, perhaps they understood. Hongbin’s sight created a clearer image after the
