I spent the whole night crying my eyes out. I didn’t even remember when I fell asleep. I regretted it in the moment that I woke up. My head was killing me and my eyes hurt so much than I even can open them.

-Ugh~-I groaned while standing up

I felt sore all over my body. I didn’t want to go to school. One of the reasons why is because I feel really bad and the second reason is that I have to see Earn, even worse, act like nothing is happening at all. I can’t bring myself to do that, it’s too tiring.

In the end I ended being stood at the gates of school. I sighed heavily and entered in the building. My head was still hurting when I arrived at the classroom. I say hello to everyone and went straight to sit in my chair.

After a few minutes Earn arrived. I looked him briefly then turned my head to avoid him.

-Morning-he said while sitting down beside me

-Morning-I answer his greet only for politeness

The class went smoothly and soon our free hour to get lunch came. I stood up after putting my things inside my briefcase. I was about to exit the room when Earn’s voice stopped me.

-Hey Pete, are you going to the cafeteria?-he asked me while walking towards me

-…not now-I said without looking him at the face

-Oh well the see you later-

And after he told me that he left the room in company of some of our classmates. All my appetite disappeared in a blink. Then I decided to go enjoy a little the fresh air in the back garden of the school. I walked over there and let myself lay on the grass.

Life it’s too hard. I thought while looking at the sky above me. There weren’t so many clouds so the blue could be fully appreciated. I was starting to feel drowsy so slowly I closed my eyes. But a voice made me open them abruptly.

-What are you doing here Pere?-it was Film who talked to me

-Oh! Film-I stood up-I was only enjoying the weather a little-

Then I noticed the pile of folders that he was holding. It looked quite heavy.

-Do you need any help?-I asked while approaching a little to him

-That would be wonderful-he told me and laughed at his choice of words

I took half of the folders and discovered that my guesses were correct. Only the half of them was really heavy.

-What are these?-I questioned him while walking by his side

-Old papers that we were keeping in the Music club room-he said to me smiling

-Where are you going with them?-

-The bastard of Ohm bossed me to drop them off-he scolded while frowning

I couldn’t keep my laugh inside by his action. I knew that Ohm was something by other students and hearing that from Film was really funny.

-He was too busy pestering our under classmates to do this by himself-

I only heard him all the way until we reached our destination, a big container of trash. We dropped the folders there and dusted off our hands. Those things sure were kept for a long time without anyone to move them.

-Thanks for the help Pete-Film told me while patting my back

-No problem man-I simply said to him

We started walking to return to our classes but a sudden rumble made us stop our movements. Then I felt how my face heated up. It was my stomach who made that loud sound. I felt embarrassed by it. Why on earth you have to be like this stomach?! I coursed him inside my head before hearing the noisy laugh of the person by my side.

-You’re hungry?-Film asked me while trying to contain his laugher 

-… a little-I admitted after a few seconds

-Let’s go to eat then-he said still laughing a little

Sure he was enjoying himself while I was feeling all embarrassed. We arrived at the cafeteria just in time. I went to get a bowl of noodles and then joined Film in a table.

-It’s strange-he suddenly said while munching his food

-What?-I asked feeling curious about his words

-You’re not with Earn today-

I stopped all my actions after listen to him. I turned to see him and he was staring at me.

-Are you two having a fight?-

-…It’s not like that-

-Oh! So there is something going on between both-

I didn’t know what to say.

-Not really-I said and continued to eat my noodles

-But you look depressed-

-You’re imagining things-

-I’m not-he said after a long pause-you’re always smiling and joking around but these past days you were being really quiet-

-Oh~ how is that you seem to know a lot about my behavior?-I said in a sarcastic tone

-If something is bothering you I’m here to help-

-Thanks but…-my words were interrupted when I felt how Film hugged me with one of his arms

-Pete…there’s something I want to tell you-Film said while letting me go

-What is?-

-I’m sure I’m not…-

-Hey Film you bastard!-the booming voice of Ohm interrupted Film’s words

-What the heck do you want now?-

I laughed a little by his attitude. I looked how Ohm approached us.

-I told you to return right away when you were finished but I find you flirting with Pete?! Tss!-

-I..I’m not flirting, you bastard!!-Film said in a rush while standing to face Ohm

I was imagining things or Film’s face looked a little red?

-Sorry Pete I have to go now-he said in a hurry-we’ll talk later ok?-

Without waiting for a response he left while running behind of Ohm. I sighed and after finishing my noodles I returned to my classroom. When I entered the room Earn was the first to talk to me.

-Hey Pete I really need a review of Physics, can you help me? I can go to spend the night at your house-

-I’m sorry but I have things to do, find someone else to help you-I said bluntly without looking him

I was feeling like a real jerk but I didn’t feel like spending the night alone with him. It was too soon to pretend like if I wasn’t feeling anything for him.

-Oh~-he exhaled deeply and didn’t reply me

Was I being too rude? I was trying really hard to forget my feeling for him but it was proving be too difficult. I spent the rest of the classes looking him by brief lapses because I was regretting what I told him. But I needed to distance me a bit from him because it was too hard smile while knowing that he will never love me like I do.

Soon the classes ended and I rushed to go to home. When I arrived the first thing I did was take a shower. When I left the bathroom I noticed that my cell phone was vibrating. It got a few messages from Film. I unlocked it and looked over the Kakao Talk app.

                        Are you in home?

                        Do you mind helping me with something?

I reply him while sitting in my bed.

                        Sure. What do you need?

I didn’t have to wait much for his reply.

                        Can you log in in MSN please?

I answered.

                        Sure just wait a minute.

 When the message was sent I took my laptop and turned it on. I opened MSN ans logged in. Almost in the instant a window popped up in my desktop. It was Film.

            Film says:

Do you have the file from Miss Miew of the Math exercises?

            Pete says:

I have it. Do you want me to send it to you?

            Film says:

Yeah~~ please

I really need it

            Pete says:

No problem.

I uploaded the file and sent it to him.

            Film says:

Thanks a lot man. You’re the best :’ ]

I laughed a little by the emoticon he sent me. I was about to reply but another window of MSN popped up.

            Earn_the_awesome has send you a message

I momently froze but without overthinking more I opened the little window.

            Earn_the_awesome says:

Hey Pete can I stay at your place this weekend?

            Pete says:

            You can’t. I’m not going to be at home.

            Earn_the_awesome says:

            Where are you going?

I didn’t have any excuse to give him. What do I do now?

            Pete says:

            Out.

            I need to go now.

            Bye.

And after I send him those messages I logged out quickly. I turned off the laptop and made my way under the sheets to finally go to sleep but my cell phone’s vibration interrupted me. I took the device and saw that it was a call. Earn was calling me. I decided not answer but after the call ended a message appeared on screen.

                        Why are you avoiding me?

                        Answer me.

What can’t you leave me alone? Don’t you see how hard is for me to let you go?

                        I’m not avoiding you.

                        You’re imagining things.

I send him those messages with the hope that he will let me in peace. But after less than a minute his reply appeared in front of my eyes.

                        If that’s true then let me stay at your place this weekend.

                        I know you were lying to me earlier.

This bastard sure knows me very well. I laughed bitterly. Why he has to be so stubborn?
