I put my hands in my ears and closed my eyes tightly while feeling how the blood in my veins accumulates in my face.

-Hahaha-I heard his laugher through my hands

-What’s so funny!? You bastard!-I throw him a punch 

Don’t you see that I’m about to collapse?

-Hahaha yes you are-he said all happy by himself

And then without warning he hugged me. My heart almost stops by his sudden action. How he dares to do such a thing while I’m suffering a panic attack?

-I’m sorry Pete-

Crack! Crash!

 Ah~ still hurts even if I knew this may happen.

I stayed still and didn’t make a single noise, even if I was crying I didn’t want to bother him more. He let go of me a little only to face me and the surprise was printed in his face when he saw me crying.

-Don’t cry-he said a little panicked and wiped away my tears with his hand-I’m sorry because I didn’t realize before how you feel about me-

A smile was the first thing I spotted in his handsome face. He was smiling widely at me.

-Earn I…-

-Are you hungry?-he suddenly asked me out of the blue

He stood up and was about to go but I grabbed his arm.

-Wait!, aren’t you disgusted by me?-

-How could I? We have been friend since forever-he said and laughed

His gaze was so intense that I let go his arm and gave a step back. Then he gave a step closer to me.

-I thought I was imaging things all the damn week, seeing you with Film made me felt angry, first I thought it was because you were my friend and I kind of felt like you were letting me apart but then seeing him give you hugs and been together made me realized that the jealousy I felt wasn’t only of friendship-he said all without taking a little breathe in between his talk

I opened completely my eyes by his confession. I have to be asleep because this seems unreal.

-Are you being serious?-I asked with fear in my voice

-why..but..how?-I was very confused

-I only know that having you by my side is all I want-he said and slowly approached me more

-Don’t dare to mess with me-I said in a warning tone

-I’m not messing with you-Earn said smiling

Seconds later I felt how he hugged me. Inevitably I smiled and hugged him back. I was feeling so happy that my tears were flowing like little rivers down my cheeks.

-Don’t cry more-Earn said smoothly and then started to kissing my cheeks

-I’m just happy-

I looked him in the eyes and saw how he was slowly coming closer to me. I panicked a little. I could feel his warm breathe too close of my lips. Was he going to kiss me?!

When he was about to kiss my lips I turned my head and his lips touched my cheek instead.

-So…you’re hungry?-I said totally nervous while trying to escape from him

-Wait-Earn said and without warning his arms hugged me again-why you avoided my kiss?-

Urg~ why you have to ask that? It’s so embarrassing.

-I..I don’t know-I stuttered and felt how my face turned red again

Why you have to ask? It is too embarrassing.

What the heck was wrong with me?! He was asking me for a kiss and I was avoiding him. I’m totally insane.

-You’re really adorable-Earn whispered in my ear and without waiting for a response he stood up and walked towards the door

I stood up and followed him to tell him a few things. When I entered the kitchen, where Earn was, I saw him grabbing a few things from the refrigerator and put them near the stove.

-What’re you gonna do?-

-Something to eat-

-Do you need help?-I offered while staring at him

-I’m fine by myself, go watch the TV-he said while washing the vegetables he need to cook

I didn’t say something else because I knew that anything he was going to cook would be faster without my help, sincerely I was not very good at cook stuff. I sat down in the couch and the TV. After a while waiting I started to get bored.

-Earn~-I said loudly-the food is ready?-I turned my head and saw how Earn was putting the food on the table-oh~~-I immediately stood up and walked until the table-this looks tasty-the smell of the food hit me and made me drool

-Haha be careful you’re drooling-

-It looks really good-I had to say it because Earn’s food always tastes like heaven

Am I exaggerating? Maybe, but it is true. His cooking skill is awesome.

-Sit down and start eating then-Earn said and he sat down too

We chatted a little about trivial stuff and enjoyed the delicious food. I really missed this kind of feeling, being both together and enjoying the mutual presence. I made a pause and stared at him. I smiled widely just seeing him munching the food, in some way, he looked cute.

When this feeling started growing inside me?

I didn’t remember but now it is too huge to deny it anymore. I’m so in love with Earn.

-I know I’m very handsome but the food will cool if you keep staring at me-

-Don’t be so vain-I said and continued eating

-Oh! I bought a new videogame, we can try it when we finish eating-

I finished and helped Earn to wash the dishes.

-Hey Earn, it’s pretty late and your parents aren’t here, when are they coming?-I asked when I realized the time it was

-Oh~ well that’s why I asked you to spend the weekend in your house-he made a little pause before continuing-they went out for this weekend and you know that I don’t like to be alone-

My mind was blank. So we’re alone, only the two of us.

-Let’s go to my room-

What was he planning to do? I felt how my cheeks heated up.

We played a lot before sleeping. But it was really funny. We didn’t do something like that in a long time. I was starting to feel very sleepy. I yawned loudly while pressing the buttons of the controller.

-Do you wanna sleep now?-Earn asked me after putting pause in the game

-Yes-

We turned the console and the TV off and made our way to the bed. I borrowed some clothes to sleep from Earn. I was too tired and I didn’t know why. I laid down and made myself comfortable in Earn’s bed.

-G’night-I muttered half asleep when I found the perfect position

I was falling asleep when I heard Earn’s voice.

-Hey Pete-

-uhm-I muttered because I didn’t have the enough energy to talk

-Can I hold you?-

His question made all my drowsiness left my body, now I was totally awake.
