💯 Chapter 6 ; "Those memories..."

    Nari shook her head suddenly saying,"no, i don't want you to worry about me. it'll give you headache." He said to her,"but did you know... when i try not to worry about you, it gives me more headache than worrying about you?" Nari look up at him as he said that, she suddenly feel like the world started to spin like a merry go round. She said in her head,"Why do he sound so different saying that? Did he really mean it?" Sungjae looked at her securely, making Nari speechless.

   Nari looked away saying,"It's late now, go home." Sungjae looked in his phone & goes,"you're right. I should. Since tmrw, we have no school. Are you open?" Nari responded,"no, i have somewhere to go." He asked,"Where?" She answered,"I'm going to a concert to go with D.O." He asked,"Just two of you?" She goes,"yea, just two of us." He goes,"isn't that a date then?" Nari responded,"i don't know. is it?" He goes,"i don't care. bye, i'm going now." Nari goes,"yea, bye." She then walked back into her house. As Sungjae walked down the street, he goes,"What?! Date? with him? tsk. whatever, i don't care." 

   The next day, Nari doll up in a pretty mini dress and softly curled her hair. Her mom came in the room saying,"wow, my daughter is all grown up to go with her boyfriend." Nari smiled saying,"mom, i'm just going with a friend, not boyfriend." Her mom giggles saying,"i know, i was just teasing you." 

   Nari waited for D.O at a local park. D.O saw her from afar as he headed to her. He couldn't stop smiling, seeing how beautiful she was. He said to himself,"She looks so beautiful like always..." He approached her with a smile, Nari look at him saying,"How do i look? I didn't know what to wear so I just dress like this." He smiled saying,"Tbh, today you're the most beautiful person i've seen, other than my mom." Nari suddenly blushed and goes,"a... that's impossible..." He handed her a light stick saying,"Kai gave this to you, for coming with me." Nari held onto it saying,"wow, this is pretty." He goes,"My driver is waiting for us over there, cmon let's go." 

   Sungjae twist and turn in his bed, wondering what's happening between Nari and D.O right now. He checked his phone, a couple time, wanting to message her what's going on. At the end, he just play games to get his mind out of it.

   As D.O and Nari got there, He goes,"hold my hand, there's gonna be a lot of fans. I might lose you." She held onto his hand without hesitating saying, "ok." D.O's heart was fluttered by that, He then pull her into the concert dorm. Tons of fans were coming in. Nari, herself was amazed by how much fans there were. The huge dorm was like literally packed. D.O said to her,"Our spot is reserved very close up to them." Nari followed behind him, as he held onto her hand tightly. As the concert started, D.O said to Nari near her ear,"Do you know how Kai looks like?" Nari nodded her head saying,"Yea, i know..." The light turned pitch black, Suddenly fire shoots up and BAM! Exo appeared, fans roar! Nari was shocked a bit from the fire & suddenly held onto D.O arm. He looked at her saying,"Did it startled you?" Nari embarrassedly nodded her head. The song 'Love Me Right' came on. Nari started to enjoy the show, she wave her light stick up high enjoying the song. D.O couldn't keep his eyes off from her, seeing her smile. 

   Sungjae turned off his game, and sigh out of frustration. He grabbed his jacket and went out for a walk. As he got out of his room, his dad appeared to coming out of his room too. But Sungjae just walk pass him like a stranger. His dad suddenly stops him by saying,"Where do you think you're going?" He look at his dad responding,"When did you start caring about where i'm going?" His dad goes,"I'm your father, first learn how to talk better to me." Sungjae ignored his dad and rushed out of the house. He checked his phone and goes,"wow, this girl won't even text me one bit. not even a good morning message." As he puts his phone back in his pocket, suddenly he got a message. He quickly look at it, hoping it to be Nari. But as he checked, it turned out to be Gayeon. He read the message and it said 'Meet me at the Han River where the coffee shop is at or else i'm gonna hurt Mari. just watch." Sungjae close his phone and went there. 

   As he got there, he saw Gayeon sitting at a table drinking ice coffee. He sat down in front of her asking,"What do you want?" Gayeon smirked and goes, "of course, you'll only see me if i talk about Mari. are you into her that much?!" Sungjae responded,"mind your own business." Gayeon goes,"then i must be right. that's sad... Mari is out with D.O on a date too. Aren't you jealous?" He goes,"Is this all you wanna say? if it is, i'm leaving." Gayeon responded,"You won't leave if i tell you something very important about Mari... you would never ever see her like that anymore." Sungjae goes,"What is it then?" Gayeon smirked and goes,"Mari-ah... is not Mari , but Nari. A old friend of mine back in middle school. She was a huge , to the point where she have to change her name to become a different person so she won't get hate on. right now she tries to pull out her innocent look on you guys. This is why i always hate her and want to hurt her. Right now she's trying to get after you and D.O.. Be careful. if you don't believe me, go check out the old school i use to go. they will say the same thing. Here's my proof that they're the same person. look at their hand writing. i print it out just for you." Sungjae looked at it and couldn't believe it. As he was looking at that, Gayeon smirked saying in his head,"i guess this works..." Gayeon suddenly held his hand saying,"I really don't want you to be hurt." Sungjae made her let go saying,"No, it's not true. she was hospitalized." Gayeon goes,"it was all a set up." He got up and walk off. Gayeon just watch him go and said in her head,"I guess he really fell for it. sorry, but i can't let you block my way anymore."

    After the concert was done, D.O pulled Nari to a door. Nari looked and goes,"isn't this for staff only?" He smiled and goes,"we could go. don't worry." He took her in and she saw many staff running back and forth. He finally stops at a door again. She read it and it says 'Exo' right on the door. She looked at him and goes,"You're taking me to see Exo?" He nodded his head smiling. She held him back saying,"no, i'm shy... let's just go." He held onto her hand and knocked on the door right then. Someone then opens it, it was Chen. Nari saw Chen and look away shyly. Chen saw D.O and goes,"omg, you came? Come in." D.O came into the room, holding onto her hand tightly. He said to Chen,"Where's Kai?" Chen responded,"oh he's changing right now. um.. who's that?(referring to Nari)" D.O looks at Nari and goes,"Oh she's one of my friend from my school. Her name is Mari." Nari then greeted him shyly. Chen smiled and goes,"wow.. you're pretty cute." Nari blushed and thank him. Chen made them sit down, finally Kai came in saying,"D.O!" D.O stood up and hug Kai happily. Nari quickly stood up nervously. Kai saw Nari and goes,"and you must be D.O's friend that he invited huh?" Nari responded,"yea..." Chen dragged D.O away saying,"let's go see the other members." D.O look at Nari saying,"I'll be back." Kai said to D.O,"i'll keep her in company." Nari started to get more and more nervous. 

  As they left, Kai made her sit down & comfortably talk. He asked her,"Is my friend D.O nice to you?" She answered,"yea, a lot." Kai smiled & goes,"your name is Mari right?" She nodded her head. He goes, "you look nervous, please don't be. i may be an idol, but i'm also the same like regular people too." Nari nodded her head. He got up saying,"Do wanna see me dance?" Nari nodded her head saying,"sure..." He played 'Growl' in his phone and started dancing. All of a sudden he pull her up and said,"dance with me. it's more fun that way." Nari goes,"but i don't know how to." He sang 'Growl Growl Growl' and moved his body with the beat. As he spins, she spins  along but she accidentally lost her balance. As she was about to fall, Kai caught her in his arms. He smiles and goes,"are you okay?" Nari backed away saying,"sorry.. and yea, i'm fine." He then asked her,"can you sing one of our song?" She smiled and goes,"sure... i learned 'Baby Don't Cry'..." Suddenly Chanyeol came in saying,"I could play the piano for you." Suddenly the rest came in, making Nari more surprise. D.O came in smiling. The staff brought in a electric piano keyboard to Chanyeol. He goes,"D.O's friend, i can play it for you." She nodded her head shyly. As he started playing, Nari's heart rate beats fast seeing all Exo's eyes on her. She could only look at D.O, cause he's the only one she's close with there. As she started singing, all Exo went speechless. Even D.O was too. Baekhyun whispered in Sehun's ear saying,"Should we introduce her to our CEO. she's really something here." Sehun responded, "we should. wow. amazing." When it came to Chanyeol's rap, Mari did it. Chanyeol was amazed and looked at the Exo members with a surprise face. Sehun stood up clapping as she finished Chanyeol's rap part. Xuimin said to D.O, "wow, her singing and her rap is amazing." D.O, himself was amazed too since this was the first time he heard her sing. As she was done with the song, They all stood up clapping. Nari shyly smiled & bow to them. Baekhyun asked her, "Where do you get trained for singing & rapping?" Nari responded,"i was never trained, i just listen to the song and follow along..." Kai puts a flower crown on her head saying,"here's a gift. If there's luck, hope to see you in the same company as us. that amazing skill of yours should be heard by many people." Nari smiled and goes,"thanks..." Chanyeol goes,"what Kai said is correct. When you rap my part, i was totally speechless. you're jang!" 

     As D.O dropped her off at her house, He came out of the car & said,"go get a good rest. you must tired today. i hope you had fun today with me." She responded,"i had fun today. i haven't laugh this much for the first time. thanks for today..." He suddenly hugged her saying,"give me just a moment..." Nari was a bit surprise. Sungjae came down the street and saw. The things Gayeon said to him repeated in his head saying 'she set up everything to get you & D.O. Her name is Nari, not Mari...' Sungjae look away & sigh.
