Eunjung’s POV

As I stare blankly to sky, my heart is filling with nothing but loneliness, an undesirable feeling which I said goodbye to it ever since I let Hyomin to have the room in my heart. Though we all kwow that it will only be just temporarily being apart, but my heart has grown accustomed to having her around me, so it feels weird without seeing her around when I wake up and before I go to bed, it never feels the same doing things alone, no smile nor her presence to warm up my heart, even the bicker that keeps me busy coming up with my reasons to argue, I start to miss thoses little things so much. It has been only few days but I feel like a forever when the days are longer, I am not embarrased to admit that I miss her,I do miss her so much.

I unlock my phone screen to see if there is any message from Hyomin sent to me, but to my disappointment, no incoming new message notification. I sigh desperately, though I know Hyomin has been busy catching up with her sister, but I hope she would at least make a little time for me. I feel a bit upset thinking that she may not miss me as half as I do miss her, and the thought of it makes my heart sink a bit.

I type message to her even though I haven’t got any reply from my previous message sent to her, and it didn’t seem like she has read it either. I don’t know why my heart grows so weak because of this smallest things I always overlook. I decide to delete the message and heave a long deep breath before getting into my car, I’m going back home to where no usual smile would greet me.

Just a short ride back home seems a bit torturing for me when no one is seating next to me on passenger seat and life is so damn boring, I quickly proceed to my bedroom ignoring the looks on my maids’ faces, I know they would want to ask where Hyomin has been this past few days, I guess they feel a bit different without her too, even though it’s nothing compares to how empty I feel without her. Everything around seems so annoying for me, and I know it reason, it’s because I’m missing her like crazy.

As soon as I reach the bedroom, I take out my phone from my jeans pocket, still there is nothing from Hyomin, and I sigh a ninth times for the day, I literarily throw it on the side of my bed and dip myself on the bed. I wish when I woke up, Hyomin would already be next to me.

“Let’s eat this unnie”, “Oh this one is also good for you”, I know you love this”

“ Calm down Jiyeon, one at a time”  Hyomin could only shake her head at how energetic her younger sister was and how happy she tried to feed Hyomin with a lot of food, since she returned home, she never saw Jiyeon stop smiling, and she was glad that she was the reason for that.

“Care to feed me as well?” Qri’s straight question made the Park sisters turned their attention to a poker  face, they exchange a knowing look and laughed.

Few days ago

It took Jiyeon by surprise to see her sister standing infront of the door after a few doorbell ring, the younger girl couldn’t help herself but cried once she made sure that she wasn’t dreaming or hallucinating. After the reunion, the Park sisters had to sit and talk, it wasn’t easy for Hyomin to explain to Jiyeon of what acutaully happened, she was quite careful to tell her the truth and as Hyomin expected, Jiyeon couldn’t take it well, she was enraged after finding out the inconvenient truth even though Hyomin didn’t tell her every detail,

“You promised unnie, Jiyeon” Hyomin tried to calm her sister when Jiyeon couldn’t control her anger after being told the truth of her disapperance.

“But I can’t let her get away for what she did to you” Jiyeon was beyond furious.

“It’s over Jiyeon, we were all to be blamed” Hyomin reasoned, as she took hold of Jiyeon’s hand

“ Still unnie, what she did was too much, I can’t forgive her” Jiyeon gritted her teeth thinking of how the other woman she didn’t even know, had done to her sister.

“What’s the point of revenge Jiyeon? If we don’t forgive each other, how can we end the circle of avenge” Jiyeon stopped and listened to what Hyomin said, so Hyomin carried on her opinions

“Listen Jiyeon, revenge will never end the war, by the time we know it, we may destroy everything, include our loved ones. The only way to bring peace to all of us is love, and I knew I found that” Hyomin softly spoke the last sentence

“Unnie, you are …..” Jiyeon paused, contemplating if she should continue

“Yes, I’m in love with her” Hyomin answered before she was asked, Jiyeon looked at her sister with unreadable expression.

“I know this may sound foolish but I love her, it just happened and she happened to be someone that I fell for” Hyomin wished Jiyeon would understand her, she seached for Jiyeon’s eyes, and after a moment of unreadable expression, Jiyeon reached out for her sister’s hand and smiled.

“Whatever makes you happy, I’ll support you unnie” Jiyeon gave her a wide smile, “ I can’t say that I’m truly happy for you because of what she did to you, but I would never do anything to stop your happiness” Jiyeon bent over to give her sister a hug, she then locked her back and forth in sisterly hug.

“Thank you for understanding me Jiyeon” Hyomin was relieved that at least Jiyeon would respect her decision.                                                                                                          

“But if she ever hurt you ever again, I’ll hunt her down and tear her off into million pieaces” Jiyeon strongly determined.

 “You can’t do that to her” Hyomin broke the hug to give a strong gzae at her sister

 “Aww, you are so protective over her now, I’m hurt” Jiyeon pouted and that earned a smile on Hyomin’s face.

“There is nothing I wouldn’t do to protect you too” Hyomin puffed Jiyeon’s cheek

“I know and you have done far and beyond” Jiyeon smiled with gratitude.

“Please promise me that you won’t hold hatred on her, she had lost so much too” Hyomin begged

“I promise” Jiyeon said, “Actually I’m a huge part to be blamed for this whole mess” Jiyeon saddened her face.

“ There is no point to mention it, or bring it up, there is nothing left to repay” Hyomin lifted up Jiyeon’s chin, “ We are here to move on and to erase each other nightmar by filling up new promising memories”  Hyomin smiled with positive thought.

“I can see the light in your eyes unnie” Jiyeon could tell that her sister was happy talking about the other women.

“I couldn’t been happier” Hyomin stated

 “And she loves you too?” Jiyeon couldn't help but being curious, part of her was so happy to see her sister being happy again and it wouldn’t ease her worry to hear the confirmation from her sister.

“I don’t doubt it” Hyomin confirmed,“ I can feel it” she added.

With Hyomin’s cofirmation, Jiyeon was clear of all worry, she threw herself at her sister and hugged her tightly, Hyomin hugged her sister back.

“I’m doing what my heart wants to do, now it’s time for you to do the same” Hyomin smiled while her face was still buring on Jiyeon’s shoulder

“All I want is to see you happy unnie” Jiyeon hugged her sister tighter

“That’s not all” Hyomin declined

“What do you mean?” Jiyeon broke the hug and looked at her sister skeptically

“To be fair, I’ve told you all my secrets, now it’s time for you to confess” Hyomin stared deep in Jiyeon’s eyes which made Jiyeon feeling a bit uncomfortably

“Unnie, you know?” Jiyeon swollowed the lump in

“I guess I do but I want my sister to be honest with me” Hyomin sent a sisterly warm smile to reassure Jiyeon that it was okay to tell her.

“Okay unnie” Jiyeon gave in, Hyomin was right, she must be honest to her sister, and now she felt less guilty with her sister loving someone else, other than Qri.  

“Ok, now come to our deal” Hyomin came up with a suggestion.

“And is it?” Jiyeon raised a brow?

Back to present

Hyomin couldn’t help but smiled at the adorable sight in front of her, Qri and Jiyeon were helping each other to do the dishes with a little bickering from time to time. Nothing to hold back, nothing to hide, Hyomin made Jiyeon speak her feeling toward Qri, and the two sisters had made a deal to hold no secret between each other. Seeing how truly happy Jiyeon was, Hyomin was more than happy because Qri was the person she would always trust to entrust Jiyeon to her from the start and she wasn’t regret doing so, now there was nothing she would be worried so she could go back to her love carefreeely. Speaking of whom, Hyomin realized that she had not been in contact with the other for few days because she had been busy settling things on this side, she wanted to catch up with Jiyeon and make sure that Jiyeon would be in good hand.

After biding goodbye to Qri and Jiyeon excused herself to bed, Hyomin finally found her time alone, she was in the room she wasn’t used to it and that made her mind wander to where she felt safe to stay or to be exact, it was someone there that made she felt safe to be around. Glancing at the time on the bed stand radio clock, Hyomin was awared it was quite late to make a call, Eunjung might be sleeping by now. Just only thinking of Eunjung’s sleeping face, small curve made its way to Hyomin’s face.
