Hyomin was rubbing her wrist which was set free from a chain lock, however her other wrist remained occupied with a bracelet-like device. Hyomin looked up at the guy who wore a straight face, his calm but cold eyes made Hyomin scared to even start a conversation with him.

“Don’t be scared, I’m not allowed to hurt you” A man said, “Please eat those vitamin and good food” He added

“Why?” Hyomin asked him shortly

 “It’s master’s order” He said

“Is she your boss?” Hyomin asked but the man didn’t answer.

“ Eat well miss, if you need anything let me know” Ki-o said

“I don’t think you can give me what I need” Hyomin said sadly and he knew what she meant, in a swift of time, Hyomin thought he saw a sympathy look in his eyes.

“Never mind, can you please give me a knitting tools please?” Hyomin asked

 “I’ll try” He promised

“Thank you” Hyomin said, he bowed to her before leaving the room.

Hyomin looked at the food, vitamin and good cosmetics he brought to her, she was confused what was going on, she was held here to torture, there was no reason why she should be given these kind of good stuff, it was too complicated to figure out as why thing was this way, so she gave up then her mind was wandering off to her sister, she could imagine how her sister would be worrying about her now, looking around the room, she could do nothing but sighed, time seemed so slow stuck here. She walked off to the bathroom and let the shower running down her thin figure, she was under the shower to wash away her troubled mind, when time wasn’t important to her anymore, trapping in the room where she got stuck in, she spent hours long in the bathroom letting water running down her body in the hope to calm her restlessness. Turning off the shower, Hyomin was going to walk out of the bathroom with towel wrapped around her body but thinking that somebody could walk in to this room which served as a cage to her, so she decided to get dressed ready inside the bathroom.

Hyomin startled as she was walking out of bathroom to find Eunjung sat on the bed, her face was emotionless, she smirked as she saw Hyomin.

“No matter of long you are in shower, it’s not going to clean your dirty hand” Eunjung looked down at Hyomin’s perfect legs which looked even better in short.

“No one can change the past” Hyomin looked at Eunjung who was walking closer to her, Hyomin was backing away until her back hit the wall, evil smirk appeared on Eunjung’s face

“ Or even if I could turn back time, I would never change a thing and did the same” Hyomin said fearlessly , Eunjung’s smirk faded away and replaced by an furious look, she cornered Hyomin and cupped Hyomin’s face aggressively.

“I start to doubt whether I’m making a right decision to let you breathe” Eunjung cupped Hyomin’s face more forcefully, despite being hurt, Hyomin didn’t even fringe.

“I think it would be better if you just kill me” Hyomin said nonchalantly

“Don’t challenge me” Eunjung tightened her jaws.

“I’m sure it will set peace to your restless heart” Hyomin fearlessly told Eunjung and it even enraged her, she pushed Hyomin down on the bed  

“Don’t you think it’s too easy?” Eunjung locked both Hyomin’s hands on the bed, Hyomin tried to fight with strength she had but it didn’t even move.

“Let’s go of me” Hyomin screamed , but Eunjung didn’t listen

“Who are you to order me huh?” Eunjung spat

“You are pathetic” Hyomin shouted

 “You think you are better?” Eunjung got closer to Hyomin’s face

“You are not different from your brother, you’re monster!” Hyomin shouted with her might, Eunjung froze, words stuck at her head, she unconsciously let go of Hyomin, Hyomin pushed Eunjung away and got off the bed. For a moment, Eunjung thought about her brother, who was accused for trying to assault a girl in front of her now, though police had some evidence, Eunjung still refused to believe it.

“Then you’ll see what the master of monster is” Eunjung changed from her reminiscing to smirk, while Hyomin quickly sat up

“Prepare yourself, next week you are going to get married with me” Eunjung proclaimed

“What?”Hyomin widened her eyes.

“Don’t mistake it that I attract to you , this is my way to turn your life as miserable as I can” Eunjung devilishly said

“What if I didn’t” Hyomin tentatively denied

“Then you leave me with no choice, I think I’m gonna have fun with your sister’s life” Eunjung threatened

“Promise me you won’t touch her if I agree on this” Hyomin hopefully asked

“ If you can make me satisfied” Eunjung said

“ I’ll everything and anything, please leave her alone” Hyomin pulled out the last card when she got nothing to lose

“You have my words” Eunjung seriously promised

Hyomin’s eyes followed the close door when Eunjung left the room, she had no idea what was going on here, but she could sense something weird about this, there was no way the girl who hated her the most would want to marry her unless there was something behind that marriage, but she wasn’t in the position to question that now when Jiyeon’s life was on the line. Even though she didn’t know this girl for so long but she strangely believed that she would keep her promise. As long as Jiyeon was alright then there was nothing she had to worry about,

The committee meeting was held to discuss about a successor and new leader of the independence powerful gang that did existed , this was one of the most three powerful gangs in South Korea which lasted more than 100 years, generation after generation. And the person who was going to be ascended to position was none other than Ham Eunjung, who was blood-related to deceased former leader. This wasn’t the life Eunjung wished to live, she was living different life and her brother Onew was planned for this position, but what happened overnight changed Eunjung’s life forever, she was expected to be a next successor and lived the life that nobody knew even her ex-girlfriend Soyeon.   

In order to succeed the crown, Eunjung was supposed to marry to her faithful partner who was going to be by leader’s side and be protected by leader. This was the rite which couldn’t be breached. As the day drawn closer, the members of the committee started to prepare things and were curious to know Eunjung’s partner or lover was.

“Ms.Ham, we have never seen your partner before, may we know who he is? An old man asked

“It’s not a he but a she” Eunjung corrected and it made all committee members looked at each other.

“There is no rule in there saying it’s supposed to be “he” “ Eunjung remarked and majority of the members nodded.

“Then may we know who she is?” The same man asked, Ki-o shifted uncomfortably as she stood beside Eunjung

“You all know her well” Eunjung said, “ Park Hyomin” Eunjung added , everyone widened their eyes and it was enough to make them shocked

“Isn’t she a girl who killed your brother Ms.Ham?” A man said

“Such a good memory, Mr.Kang” Eunjung coldly said

“But how can she be your partner, she killed your brother?” Another man opposed

 “She killed the first successor of our gang” Another member voiced out.

“Isn’t that a threat to our gang?” a middle age man expressed his opinion, before the situation was too far Eunjung decided to speak.

“A faithful partner could do anything and everything to have her lover become a successor” Eunjung stated calmly , the whole committee went quiet, they stopped and thought, they widened their eyes upon their realization. They understood that Eunjung planned all of this.

“For power, one can do everything, so I hope you all will be loyal to me” Eunjung powerfully warned them then stood up and walk
