JESSICA’S POV

It’s been six days since we’re here in Italy and for the whole six days I can’t understand the action of Steph, she’s been distance, she’s here but it’s like she’s not here. She’s beside me physically but emotionally and mentally absence. But when she’s with Gyuri she seems so happy, it hurts to see someone you love being happy with someone who was not you and being sad when she’s with you, it was obvious that she’s forcing herself to be around me.

FLASHBACK

I prepare a dinner date; I don’t know is she’ll like it since we didn’t talk much this past few days. We didn’t talk seriously or just like before since we went here in Italy. This is the first time we’re going solo, she always tug along with our friends even I ask her to go with me even just once, and she’s always beside Gyuri and being close with her that it makes me feel that I wasn’t existing anymore in her. But of course I always tried to understand her since they are friends and I love her and trust her enough.

I beg our friends to leave Steph with me in the house and not ask her to come since I want to be alone with her and make dinner for her. They understand me except for Taeng and Gyuri that Sunny has to convince them so much before they go without me and Mine, before they left they distract Steph not to caught what I’m going to do.

They left just few minutes ago and my dinner preparation is already complete that I prepare it beside the pool to make more romantic, I went to Steph room to call her but I found her sleeping so I went near her and watch her for sometimes. She so beautiful, I miss being near her so much and miss her touch and everything, I hope after this dinner will be back to what we have before.

“Mine, dinner is ready.” I whisper to her ear and slightly blow to her ears

“Hmm?”

“Wake up now sleepyhead, the dinner is ready.” I whisper again

“Can’t you see I’m sleeping.” She annoyingly said to me and pushes me away from her, I calm down myself

“But Steph, I have a surprise for you, the house is empty and it’s just the two of us.” I calmly said

“WHAT? No way, they won’t leave without me knowing.” She bolted out of the bed and run out of the room, I walk to her and she’s checking the house calling them

“The truth is I beg for them to give us time with each other, I want to be alone for a while with you Mine.” I told her when I was behind her, I back hug her but she pull away from me

“Let’s go, I’m hungry.” She said and walks

“Okay, it was on the pool side.” I hide my sadness and disappointment and tried to smile even it hurts

I’m getting used to it for this past few days; I always ask myself what I did to make her be like that on me. When we arrive at the pool side I glance at her to see if she likes it but I can’t see any reaction in her face. She didn’t even glance at the “I love you” form by roses in the floor.

“D---do you like it?” I still manage to ask even I already know the answer. I tried hard not to cry while waiting for her to reply, I want this night to be perfect

“Yeah.” She said without emotion

“Let’s eat, I cook your favorite food.” I assist her to sit

“Thank you.”

She just sit there and eat, while I told her stories and everything I can tell, just for her not to be bored and she give a smile in everything I said but it was fake. I run out of words to say so I kept my silent then I heard her sigh.

“Mine, are you okay?” I ask worriedly

“Yeah.”

“Are you sick?” I ask her again

“Nope.” Her one word reply

“Why are you so quite?”

“I’m not in the mood.” She honestly said and I sadly smile at her

“You want to rest?” I ask her

“Can I?” She ask and it hurt even more than she can’t stand being with me now for so long

“Of course, I can cancel my plans for us tonight if you’re not in the mood; let’s go I’ll walk you to your room before I clean this all up.” I give her a smile

“Okay.” She immediately stands up and walks away

“Thank you for the dinner.” When we’re in the front of her room

“Welcome, I’ll do anything for you Mine, rest well, just call me when you needed something.”

“Okay, bye.”

“I love you.” I said and about to kiss her but she avoid it and went in to her room.

After she closes her door I didn’t try to prevent my tears to roll down on my face, it hurts so much. What did I really do to her for her to hurt me like this? I went back to the pool side and clean up all the things I prepare like the fireworks and the lanterns that saying “I love you Mine.” I put it on the trash bag so no one can see it, after a few hours our friends went back I’m just at the pool side and sitting there in the corner, the others went near me while the others went to their rooms.

“Sica, what are you doing her alone? Where’s Fany?” Soo ask

“She’s in her room, she’s tired and not feeling well so I just let her rest, maybe she’s already asleep.” And then I heard her laugh

“It’s Tiffany; I thought you said she’s not feeling well.” Seung ah ask

“Maybe she’s already okay.” I just chuckle so they won’t know

“Are you two having a problem?” H ask

“Huh? Of course not.” I smile to them but didn’t look at them in the eyes, and I know my sister and H caught me already for lying

“We’re here if you want to talk.” Krys said

“I know, go inside already so you can rest, I’ll stay here for a while.”

“I’ll stay with you.” Yeon said

“Yean, I know you’re tired, I’m okay here.”

“I insist, I’ll stay then go inside later.”

“Okay, we’ll go inside, J don’t keep it inside you, we’re here.”

“Thank you.” When the others are gone, Yeon face me

“Jess, what is the problem? Is she avoiding you?”

“Hmm? Nope.”

“Really?” She asks and didn’t believe me

“Yes, she’s not in the mood that’s why she’s like that.”

“By the way she’s interacting with you and my sister it’s like they are together and not you two.” She said

“They’re just close friends like you and I, so there will be times like this and I understand and trust her.” I said to her while smi
