JESSICA’S POV

 

 

 

We are now in the car going to Kim’s private resort for their graduation celebration, our entire batch is invited and because they are the Gorgeous 8, almost our entire batch is going. It was a grand celebration because the two of them is the school owner.

 

 

 

 

 

Steph and I already talk that she’ll introduce me as her GF to her father tonight at the party. I was now with the other three, my sister, her GF and H. Seung ah was driving and Krys is on the passenger seat so H and I are the ones in the back.

 

 

 

 

 

“Sis, what are you planning when Tiffany introduces you to her father, do you think he was open on homoual relationship?” Krys ask

“I don’t know, even Steph didn’t know what his father think about homouality.” I said and frown

“Just be yourself J, for sure he’ll like you, and you’re still a Jung.”

“I really hope he’ll like me, but I’ll be glad if he’ll like me as me not because I am a Jung.”

“We got your back so don’t worry, for sure he won’t beat you up.” Seung ah joke and laugh

“Tsk. I’m getting more nervous if you joke like that.”

“Don’t be so uptight Sica, Hara was right, just be yourself.” Seung ah

 

 

 

 

 

I just stay silent whole ride, and when we reach the resort, some staff assist us and us to our rooms; the whole gang wants to stay here for several days and relax. I arrange my things and when I’m done I lie down on the bed and call Steph.

 

 

 

 

“Hello.” Mine answer the call

“Mine, where are you?” I ask

“In my room, we’re preparing our attire for tonight.”

“Okay, I thought I can see you before the party.”

“I’m sorry Mine, we’ll just see each other in the party okay? I want you to be GorJess.” She said

“I’m always Gorjess.” I cockily said

“You sure have a big ego.” She laughs

“Tiff that can wait, Sica you’ll see her at the party but for now we have some preparing to do.” I heard Sunny said

“You heard Sunny; she’ll scold me hard if we didn’t hang up already. I love you Mine, Bye.”

“Bye, I love you too.”

 

 

 

 

 

Then she hung up, I want to rest first before I prepare for the party. I lie down comfortably in the bed and close my eyes. I am in the dreamland already when I heard the knock on my door, and it was loud so I groan before I walk with my eyes half close to the door and open it.

 

 

 

 

“OMG Jess.”

 

 

 

 

 

I get startle on the shout so I open my eyes wide just to see my sister.

 

 

 

 

 

“God Krys, why are you shouting? I was sleeping you know.” I annoyingly said

“Jess, do you possibly know what the time it is already?”

“What time is it?”

“It was already 8:30 in the evening and the party is starting already.”

“What? Holy ! I’ll shower fast and prepare.”

“Okay, I’ll wait for you in the lobby with Babe and Hara.”

“No it’s okay, you can go first, and I’ll just go there by myself.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes.”

“Okay, I’ll just tell your GF that you’re going to be late.”

“Thank you.”

 

 

 

 

 

I close the door and went to the bathroom and shower, I’ll make it fast so I won’t be super late because I don’t want my Mine to be alone, it was already 9:30 when I reach the party, it was in the seaside, I went to the table of my friends.

 

 

 

 

 

“Hey guys…” I greet them

“Sica, Tiff was asking for you so many times already.” Sunny

“Where is she?”

“She was with her Dad.” Taeyeon

“Okay, I’ll just search for her.”

 

 

 

 

I look for her and when I spotted her and her Dad talking to someone I went to her side.

 

 

 

 

 

“Hey Mine.” I call her but not that loud

“J-Jessica…” Jessica? And it was like she was nervous.

“-------“ I just stare at her

“Stephanie, who is she?” Her Dad

“Tiffany, you look pale.” The man who’s her Dad is talking

“I-it was nothing Uncle, Dad, she’s Jessica Jung, my friend.”

 

 

 

 

 

 

I look at her with wide eyes and confusion….FRIEND? What the f****?

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Mi---“

“Jessica, meet my Dad and Mr. and Mrs. Park.” She cut me and I just introduce myself even in pains me that she broke her promise to introduce me as her GF

“I’m Jessica Jung Sooyeon.” I bow at them

“Hwang, I didn’t know Jung’s daughter transfer on your school.” Mr.Park

“I was also shock when her daughters transfer, Jessica here and her twin Krystal, right?” He looks at me

“Yes, Mr. Hwang.”

“Steph can I talk to you?” I ask her

“O-okay. Dad, we’ll just go to our friends.” She said to her Dad

“They can wait Stephanie, Gyuri is coming here already.” Then one girl approach us

“Gyuri why are you late? Where is your sister?” Mrs. Park

“I just did something, I’m sorry I’m late Uncle Hwang.”

“It’s okay, meet my daughter Stephanie, she was the one I was telling you.” Mr. Hwang

“Dad…” Steph said and she glances at me

“Nice to meet you Stephanie I’m Park Gyuri.”

“Nice to meet you too, call me Tiffany. Meet my---“

“Stephanie, tour Gyuri around first and don’t let her be alone.” Mr. Hwang said

“Dad…”

“Go Stephanie and Gyuri.”

 

 

 

 

 

 

I was like invisible there, Steph look at me and mouthed than we’ll talk later and then they left. I should go too.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“I’ll go first, Mr. Hwang, Mr. and Mrs. Park.” I bow at them again

“Can I talk to you?” Mr. Hwang said

“Okay.”

“Park, let’s continue our talk later, I just need to talk to Miss Jung.”

 

 

 

 

 

 

They just nod and Mr. Hwang and I left and went to the place with not so much people.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“I’m going to be frank Miss Jung, I know your relationship with my daughter and I don’t like it, stay away from my daughter.”

“But---“

“I don’t want a Jung to be my in law.”

“I love your daughter and she loves me, please don’t block our love Sir.”

“Love is not the problem here Miss Jung, I just don’t want my daughter to be part of the Jung family. Yes I accepted you and your twin in my school but I can’t accept you in my family.”

“But Sir, what is the reason for you not to accept me because I am a Jung.”

“Ask your family about that. So stay away from my daughter while it was just starting, you see the girl earlier, Park Gyuri, she was the one my daughter is marrying someday.”

He said and left me there dumbfounded. I don’t know what to do so I just sit there in the sand, I was lucky I’m just wearing casual clothes fitted jeans, blouse and cardigan.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Why are you alone here in the dark?” A girl said, I didn’t even know there was a girl here

“Who are you?”

“I’m Jiyeon Park, and you are?”

“Jessica Jung.” She sits beside me but not that close

“So? You didn’t answer my question.”

“Which is?”

“Why are you here alone? Don’t have friends here?”

“I have but I just want to be alone to think.”

“And what is that?”

“It was none of your business.” I coldly said because she was still a stranger for me

“Wow a cold person huh? I just want to be your friend; I don’t want the stupid person in the party.”

“I’m sorry, I’m just really not in the good mood now, I didn’t know you from here, and you’re not from EWS, right?”

“Nope, I’m from LA, my family was just here because my twin sister is going to meet her future wife.”

“Oh.”

“So, what is your problem? Maybe I can help you.”

“It was nothing.”

“Nothing but before I approach you earlier you’re thinking deeply. I’ll guess it was love, right?”

“How did you know?”

“A person like us from higher status, there’s always just two problems arise, it’s either love or parents, and just the way you look today I am sure it was love. So what happen?”

“I’m not use to say my problem with some people I just knew.”

“Hey we’re friends now, right? So I can listen to your problem, I can give you advice.” She said and smile at me, I chuckle at her, she’s cute, I think she won’t stop until I’ll tell her my problem

“Actually…”

“Yes?”

“I’m gay and I’m a Jung.”

“So what is the connection of that to your problem?”

“That’s the problem; I don’t know why my GF’s Dad didn’t like me because I’m a Jung.”

“Eh? But your family was number one in the business world, right? Everyone wants to be with a Jung.”

“And this was not just once but twice, the family of every girl I love didn’t like me.”

“Oh..”

“Yes, and her Dad just talk to me earlier.”

“He told you to stay away from her daughter, right?”

“Yes, and I meet the girl she wants for her daughter.”

“It’s a big problem, first you should talk to your GF, then if she can fight for your love she was worth it but if she not she don’t deserve you.”

“Don’t be sad, even it turns out like that at least you gain a friend as cute as me, right?”

 

 

 

 

 

 

And I laugh out loud because of what she said, her confidence is so high.

 

 

 

 

 

“Yes, you laugh.” She smile at me and I admit she was really cute, no beautiful actually

“Thank you.”

“I’m beautiful, right?” She pouts and ask me

“-----------“ I was laughing hard

“You’re so mean, don’t laugh at me.” She was pouting hard and then slaps me on the shoulder

“Sorry….I just can’t help it, we’re talking seriously then you suddenly said that, but honestly speaking, yes you’re cute.” I tried to stop my laugh

“I know.”

“You’re so cocky.”

“It was the truth though.”

“Okay. I am going to just say yes.” Then my phone rang, it was Steph

“Why don’t you answer it?”

“I wasn’t on the mood talking to her; let’s go back to the party, maybe someone is already looking for you.”

“, I forgot that I need to say hello to my parents.” I chuckle at her cuteness

“You talk to strangers first before you went your parents, you are something.” Then I stand up and I assist her, then we go back to the party

“Hey, I’ll just find my parents then I’ll find you, where’s your table so I can find you easily.”

“Just there.” I point out the table where my friends are

“Okay, I’ll find you later; I don’t want to talk to elders.” She laughs

“Okay, see you later, thank you for listening.”

“Thank you? You have to grand my favor because of that.” She said jokingly then slaps my shoulder again

“Hey, that’s too much slap. But I’ll grant that favor because you listen to my sentiments. What is it?”

“I’ll just tell you later.”

 

 

 

 

 

 

She then left and I went to my friends, they are all there except for Steph.
