JESSICA’S POV

It was weekend but the principal call alL student for some announcement for the HS department. I was with my twin Krys going there with the Gorgeous 8. Then I remember of what happen that night on the pool.

FLASHBACK

“Jessi…”

“Tiffany…”

I don’t know how to react, I admit I was jealous seeing there closeness. I stand up and started to walk.

“I’ll go first; I was here for too long.” I continue to walk when she called me

“Jessi…wait.”

“Hmm?” I was still facing back at her

“Can you….”

“Yes?”

“Can you…….” I didn’t answer and just wait for her to continue

“…stay for a while?”

“Huh?”

“I said can you be with me for a while?” I didn’t know what to react and stay shock there

“Please?” She beg and that snap me to go back to the reality

“O-okay.” I just stand there and looking at her while she is sitting beside the pool

“Jessi…”

“Hmm?”

“Won’t you sit beside me?”

“Huh?” I was shock again, she making me shock as the time pass by

“I said please sit here beside me than standing there.”

“Ah..O-okay.” I walk near her and sat but not too close again; we just stay silent until she calls me again

“Jessi…”

“Hmm?”

“Nothing….” She said

“Can’t sleep again?” I start the conversation

“Yes, since what happen earlier, Sunny started avoiding me then she wasn’t in her room when I look for her agin. I just know she was with Soo and Yul.”

“Why did she said that earlier? If I may ask.”

“Maybe because she gets jealous of me.”

“What do you mean?”

“Sunny was in love with Taetae so does Taetae with her but they didn’t know because they are too coward to confess. Sunny are more jealous to me than other girls on Taetae’s life.”

“Maybe because she saw something to be jealous off.”

“Of course not, Taetae was my best of the best friend at all and Sunny know where Taetae and I stand for each other so she knows that nothing will happen more than that.” I smiled when she said that because now I know what the relationship between them is.

“Did you already say it to Sunny?”

“No, but do I have to? She should know it since before, because she knows me well.”

“But still you should say it to her, because sometimes even someone knows it was still better assurance if someone involve told it to her personally.”

“Is it?”

“Yes, you should do it especially she’s your friend.”

“Okay, thank you for listening to me and for the advice.”

“You’re welcome.”

“I’m sorry.” She suddenly said

“For what?”

“Because I avoided you.” Oh…I smile at her

“It was okay even I don’t know why you’re avoiding me.”

“It just that because of what happen here.” Oh right…. I remember again, I forgot it because I was too focus of my jealousy

“Oh, I should be the one apologizing, I’m sorry, maybe I scared you.” I told her nervously

“It’s not that….It just….”

“Because I was gay? I know.” I told her

“Not exactly because my friends are gay also but…..”

“You were straight? It’s okay Tiffany. You won’t like someone like me. I know it.” I said bitterly

“I’m sorry.”

“It’s okay, don’t worry I won’t bother you.” I don’t know where I find courage to tell that

“No….” She mumble

“Huh?”

“I want us to be friends.” She said and look at me

“Friends?” I ask her, just friends? Can’t we be more than that? But it was still better than nothing, right?

“Yeah friends? You and your sister, you two are welcome to our group.”

“O-okay….Friends. I’m sorry for my sister action, I told you before she was very protective when it comes to me.” I told her

“Yes you said it before but you never told me why.”

“It was just because she my sister, that’s all.” I dismiss the topic

Then I just chuckle, we continue to talk about ourselves before she told me that it was getting late so we went inside, we’re now in front of our rooms.

“Goodnight Steph.” Yes I was now calling her in that name, I ask her earlier if it’s okay and she agreed

“Goodnight Jessi.” She smile before she goes inside her room

I was about to gone inside my room when the room beside me opens, my sister was looking at me with glare but at the same time with pity.

“Jess…”

“Krys, it’s okay. Don’t stop me, I want this, I can take a risk. So please sis, just support me.” I beg her

“But Jess, I don’t want to happen to you what happen before. It was like it was happening all over again, it start with the friendship and then you became a couple but after the break up, it was not the same anymore. Even though I want to hate your ex but still she’s my friend, my best friend specifically.”

“Don’t want to talk about her Krys, if it’s going to be like it again I’ll accept it because I want this. But I doubt it to happen because Steph see me as a friend only.”

“But you didn’t see her as a friend only.”

“It doesn’t matter; the important is we are friends.”

“But you’ll get hurt every time you are with her because you know she won’t like you the way you like her. Don’t do that to yourself Jess, you was hurt enough before to be hurt again now.”

“Please Krys, please support me, I don’t want to ask myself in the future of “what ifs” so just let me this time.”

She hugs me. I know my sister was the only constant people that won’t leave me and I’m thankful to God to have her.

So since then we are always with Steph’s gang and hanging out with them. It’s been a month since we transfer and I can say that me and my sister are now close to the gorgeous 8. And it was always the daily routine for them to tease me and Steph to each other. And it was so obvious that they are pushing me with her when I was always with Steph in some activities in the school.

I won the election for the SC position which I didn’t expect to win. My friends always tease me because after I win there are so many girls that always give me something like chocolate, lunch pack etc, sometimes it was in my locker but often times they give it to me personally. I’m not use to this kind of innocent treatment because I was use to the things like they will come up to me then flirt then after that it was make out session already.
