Strangers“Baby how are you?”
“Hello Mom, I’m okay. How about you and dad? Ah right, I was about to call you to ask you about the boxes of things here at the apartment. Are they all yours? Would you like me to send them all to Ulsan?”
“Yura, do not touch those boxes yet!”
“But Mom, I need space to set up a little work area so I can bring work at home.”
“Fine then if you want to clear those boxes at least wait for Hyeri. She called and she said she’ll be coming to visit you and stay with you for a while, okay?”
“Whoa! Hyeri’s going to visit Seoul? Yay! Okay Mom, I’ll wait for her then. ‘Love you!”
Hyeri will be coming for a visit! Hyeri is my bestfriend from Ulsan. We became friends for almost 2 years now. We are in the same company where I worked before as a part-time artist. The first time I met her was during our interview. We both got hired and since then it feels like I found my long lost sister. The Hyeri who can’t drive, who laughs like a mad woman. Hyeri who eats like there’s no tomorrow and makes my stomach hurt everytime because of too much laughing. She introduced me to dance classes as a workout and outlet right after our work. Hyeri who helped me rediscover myself and my passion for dancing. She is coming and I realized how much I missed Ulsan. Good thing she’s coming and I make sure we’ll have a great time exploring Seoul together!
