Wow! Seoul really feels different compared to Ulsan. No offense to my hometown but I feel really alive being here! I've been staying with my parents for forever now! I am a 26 year old interior designer/artist by profession but a dancer by heart. This is my first time to be here once again after a long time. I had a conversation and did a lot of convincing to my parents just to be on my own.  

And jjan! Here I am now on my way to our family’s small apartment/studio ready to take over Seoul. Freedom at last! I’ve been thinking for a long time now that I can’t be under my parents’ shadow and forever ride in their success. There’s a strong feeling that I can also be successful on my own and search myself away from them. Being an only child I feel like am sheltered for too long that I need to be on my own…And lately, Seoul kept appearing in my dreams. It’s calling me and I feel like I am destined to live here.

Oh come on! “Hello Mom. Yes, just arrived. Hmmm, it looks okay but I think with a little bit of tweaking and rearranging it will be great! Yes Mom, I’ll be okay. I’ll freshen up and I’ll walk around for something to eat. Okay, bye. ”

I’ve been walking for a few minutes now thinking that this neighborhood looks familiar. It feels very nostalgic but I know my parents just bought the apartment not for long. Ah jinjja! This is one of the reasons I’m here because I kept dreaming of this city.  “Annyeonghaseyo! Wellcome to Foodfighter!”
