Dear “Oh”, I got no one to talk to. At first I got a friend of your father and then your father. But now that I lost him I also lose your Auntie and Uncles. Beggars can’t be choosers, so when your father invited me to a day trip to Jeju for closure, I accepted. Maybe it is for the best. I can’t force him to be with me since from the first day of our relationship he never really thinks of me and looks at me for who I really am. I can never force him to love me and to be with us on our journey. I promised though that I will be here for you no matter what. Knowing that I have somebody who needs me now scares me but if it’s you I will do my best and overcome whatever it is that life will bring us. I will be both a mother and a father to you. Just hold on tight and stay with me on this ride. I am naïve indeed and full of ideals, I thought of a world full of flowers and clouds. With you I’ll live and survive even though my heart feels like it’s breaking to pieces when I thought of the “closure” trip to Jeju.
