Lara wouldn’t waste any time so she asked Nishi to show her all kind of weapons she could use that day. She managed to try each one of them even though she hadn’t got the chance to use all of them in combat training yet.

   “Um, Lara.. Can we talk for a moment?” asked Thomas after dinner. Judging from his expression, he seemed wanted to talk about serious matter.

   “Oh, sure. Let’s go to the study room then.” invited Lara.

   “So, how’s the training going so far? Is it all good?” Thomas said.

   “Yeah, I can manage it so far, I hope I can master how to use those weapons quickly. I and the boys were amazed that a hidden chamber full of specialized weapon and training room actually exist in this mansion.” responded Lara.

   “How’s the training with Nishi? Did he teach you properly?”

   “Him? Well.. He did teach me, but I wouldn’t say ‘proper’ though.”

   “Well, I knew he will be like that. So, I want to apologize on behalf of him if he didn’t teach you properly or in case he did something hurtful. You see, he used to be a normal cheerful guy. Until he lost his parents.” explained Thomas while Lara listening closely.

   “Really? What happened?” asked Lara curious.

   “They were killed by Methuselah.” responded Thomas.

   “Oh. I’m sorry to hear that. But, I still don’t understand..Why..” then Lara paused for a while.

   “Oh, I get it. He hate us so much because he think we’re the cause of his parents’ death since the Kudlak Bacillus is the source of all this.” said Lara again.

   “Mm, yeah..” Thomas agreed hesitantly.

   “Can you please stop talking about unnecessary things, Thomas.” suddenly Nishi appeared and meddling into their conversation.

   “Well, I’m trying to give them reasons to understand your hurtful behavior. I’m afraid you’d be in danger if you keep behaving like that.” explained Thomas.

   “If I could choose for these things not to happen. Believe me I would try my very best to prevent it from happening. But it had happened and as much as I feel sorry about the pain and sorrow that you both or I also had been through, the best thing we can do now is to prepare ourselves to fight the Methuselah. Because that’s the only way we can end this and keep people save from their attack.” said Lara, trying to be reasonable.

   Thomas smiled while Nishi didn’t react but left after what Lara said.

   “I guess you’re right.” responded Thomas.

   “You’re quite wise eventhough you’re only 18.” added Thomas admiring Lara.

   “My parents died when I was 10 years old. So, I guess that’s why. I need to be strong for them and for the boys that are willing to protect me.” explained Lara, gesturing to the boys from EXO Planet.

   “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to bring it up. Please accept my condolences..”

   “No, that’s okay. Thanks anyway.” 

   “Well then, I hope you’ll be able to master those weapon fast. And I can’t wait to teach you the short-range one.” said Thomas sincerely.

   “Yeah, I look forward to it too.” replied Lara.

KNOCK KNOCK

   Lara knocked on Sehun and Kai’s bedroom. Kai opened it.

   “Oh, Lara. What’s up?” asked Kai casually.

   “Hey Kai. Where’s Sehun?”

   “I don’t know, he said he wanted to play some games after dinner. Maybe he's still in the living room.” responded Kai.

   “So, you’re alone?”

   “Yeah.” replied Kai. Lara then entered the bedroom and closed the door.  

   “Can I ask for your help?” Lara said, trying to be calm.

   “Sure, what kind of help?”

   “Tell me..How far can you teleport Kai?” asked Lara.

   “As far as possible.” Kai responded casually.

   “How far exactly? To the very end of the world?” asked Lara again curious.

   “Even further.. To other planet and back.” Kai said smirking as if it was an easy thing for him.

   “What? Really? That’s amazing.” Kai looked very proud after hearing Lara’s response.

   “What planet have you been visiting?”

   “It’s only EXO Planet and Earth. Since any other planet might be dangerous.” explained Kai.

   “Can you take me there?”

   “Sure. When?”

   “Right now!” Lara said excitingly.

   “Right now?” asked Kai a little bit startled.

   “Yeah, I feel a little bit tired and want some fresh air or nice view. I’ve been curious of EXO Planet too.”

   “Come one, please.. Just a quick travel.” pleaded Lara again. Kai considering Lara’s request for a while before answering.

   “Fine, then. Just a quick travel. But, I want a little reward after this.” asked Kai.

   “Sure, no problem.”

   “Take my hand.” said Kai as he smirking.

ZAP

   They arrived in EXO Planet. Turned out it was day time in EXO Planet. The most disctinct characteristic of EXO Planet, there was this huge tree that seemed connected to the core of the planet.

“Wow.. So this is EXO Planet?” Lara said, amazed since she found out different atmosphere than Earth. She talked to Kai but he didn’t respond. Kai slumped on the ground instead.

   “Kai, are you okay? What’s wrong?” Lara could see Kai was panting.

   “I haven’t been trying teleporting this far. It used up quite a lot of my energy. I forgot that I took you with me so I gotta use more energy.” replied Kai.

   “Oh my, but you’re okay right?” asked Lara worried.

   “Just, let me rest for a moment.”

   ‘Rest? No, we can’t be away for too long or the other boys will notice especially Luhan.’ thought Lara eventhough she was worried with Kai’s condition.

   The real reason why Lara wanted to go as far as she could was because she wanted to hide her thoughts from Luhan’s telepathy ability. Maybe if she went far away, Luhan wouldn’t be able to hear her thoughts. She wanted to use the opportunity to try and organize her mind. Things that might made the boys worried, especially Luhan.

   ‘If it’s even other planet. He won’t be able to hear my thoughts right?’ Lara asked to herself.

   ‘Anyway.. What should I do with Kai.. his energy..’ suddenly Lara feeling of something to quickly restore Kai’s energy. She approached Kai who was slumped on the ground.

   “Kai, close your eyes will you?”

   “What? Why?”

   “Just do as I say.” asked Lara. She leaned in and close Kai’s eyes with one hand because Kai didn’t close his eyes. She hesitated for a second but then she kissed him. A flash of blue light glowing on Kai’s hands. She could see that Kai was getting a lot much better after Lara kissed him.

   “Thanks.” responded Kai.

   “You’re welcome. I’m glad you’re okay now.”

   “Anyway, what do you want to run away from?” blurted out Kai.

   “W-what?”

   “I’m not stupid. You said that you were tired and wanted fresh air. But, that is not the truth, isn’t it?”

   “Well, I shouldn’t underestimate you. You quite sharp after all.” Kai smirked hearing Lara’s response.

   “Do you perhaps know how to block Luhan from reading your mind? It’s not that I hate it, it’s just sometimes I need some privacy and keep my own thoughts to myself and it’s just so overwhelming to have Luhan read my mind all the time.” explained Lara.

   “I’m afraid I don’t. But, Claude might know.”

   ‘Claude? Ah, right! We’re on EXO Planet’. thought Lara.

   “Does he know? Let’s pay him a visit then.”

   “Let's find out.” Kai replied as he asked for Lara’s hand.

ZAP

   And they teleported.
