Lara saw Chen who still fast asleep. Slowly Lara got up from bed and took a bath. Afterwards she went to the Kitchen. She wanted to help Kate who usually already awoke and prepared breakfast but she didn’t find Kate in the Kitchen that morning. She didn’t bother and went to make breakfast. She decided to make a simple breakfast: bread with jam. Lara felt a little bit hungry so she ate breakfast first. When she done, she put the breads and arranged it on a plate and placed it on the dining table.

  She then walked towards one of the hall in her mansion and started to do some stretching. After that, she took a deep breath and closed her eyes. She tried to feel the Krusnik Nanomachine’s presence inside her body. Once she opened her eyes, she saw that her eyes had already changed color and wings had emerged from behind her back through the reflection in the mirror.

  ‘Great!’ exclaimed Lara inside her mind. She succeeded on activating her Krusnik.

  Then she tried to fly with her wings. The distance between the floor and the roof was quite high compared to any other room in the mansion but she needed to keep her flight distance. Afterwards she tried to feel her Krusnik Nanomachine again and tried to do something to change it. But nothing happened. That’s when the hall door opened and Chanyeol came in.

  “Lara, what are you doing?” asked Chanyeol.    

  “Oh. Chanyeol. I’m training my Krusnik Nanomachine.” answered Lara while flying in the air with her wings.

  “Did you prepare the breakfast on the dining table?” asked Chanyeol again.

  “Yeah. I’m sorry that I couldn’t prepare something more tasty. I wanted to help Kate preparing for breakfast but I haven’t see her.” responded Lara.

  “Nah..That’s okay. I planned to make today’s breakfast actually, but you already prepared it so that’s cool.” said Chanyeol again.

               “Lara, you know that you don’t have to do this, right?” exclaimed Chanyeol again after watching Lara flied for a while, gesturing to her activities on training the Krusnik Nanomachine.

  “I know. But, I’ve had Kris’ approval yesterday.” then she flied towards Chanyeol.

  “..and I really want to do this, Chanyeol.” exclaimed Lara again while looking at Chanyeol.

  “Alright, just..don’t overdo it, okay.” said Chanyeol.

  “Sure!” answered Lara passionately.

  “Ah, Chanyeol! Will you accompany to practice outside? Flying in the mansion feels so restricted.” exclaimed Lara again before Chanyeol left the hall.

  “Oh, okay. Let’s go.” said Chanyeol agreed.

  They both walked towards the front door. While walking, Lara hugged Chanyeol from the back while occasionaly flied and hummed some tune.

  “You look so happy..” commented Chanyeol seeing Lara’s action.

  “Yes...Thank god you’re awake, so you can accompany me to practice outside. Hehe” responded Lara.

  “Did you eat breakfast?” asked Lara.

  “Yeah, I did. Don’t worry.” answered Chanyeol.

  When opening the front door, Chanyeol and Lara could feel the cold air breezing. It made Lara felt refreshed and more passionate to start her training. After getting outside, Lara directly flied in the sky.

  “Hey, Lara! Take it slow! Don’t fly too far.” asked Chanyeol worried.

  She then flied approaching Chanyeol.

  “Sorry.. Hehe” she said spontaenously.

  “Hey, Chanyeol. Don’t you want to train your power too? I want to see you controlling the fire like you did yesterday with Suho. It was cool!” exclaimed Lara.

  “Ah, I want to if I could. But, I’m worried to damage or burn the grass on this yard.” responded Chanyeol.

  “Hm, what if you direct it to me? I’ll try to fly and avoid it.” proposed Lara.

  “Don’t joke with me, Lara.” answered Chanyeol while laughing slowly.

  “I’m serious!” exclaimed Lara again and put off a serious face expression.

  “Forget it. I won’t do it.” said Chanyeol again while shaking his head.

  Lara then stopped flying and approached Chanyeol.

  “Pleaseeeeeee...” persuaded Lara while holding both her arms and begged Chanyeol.

  Chanyeol still shaking his head but looked faltered with Lara’s action, begging him with cute expression.

  “Come on Chanyeol.. please?” asked Lara again and took a step closer to Chanyeol’s face.

  “Alright, fine! But, I’ll do it only if Lay hyung is here and stand by with us.” answered Chanyeol.

  “Yes! Okay, wait a sec I’ll call Lay here.” exclaimed Lara happy.

  Few minutes later, Lara came with Lay who still half asleep. After asking Lay to stand by near them, Lara started flying again and asked Chanyeol to attack her with the fire.

  “Okay, I’m ready!” said Lara firmly.

  “Come and attack me!” she said again.

  Chanyeol sighed, as if it was a tough thing to do. Then, with his hand movement, he directed the fire toward Lara. Lara then flied to avoid them.

  “Chanyeol, what was that..?” protested Lara because Chanyeol just shot a small fire at her.

  “Is this all you got?” asked Lara again trying to provoke Chanyeol so he would attack her with a proper attack.     

  Chanyeol sighed again.

  “Fine, get ready.” exclaimed Chanyeol finally.

  Hearing Chanyeol’s word made Lara excited. This time Chanyeol directed a medium size of fire. Lara could still avoid it swiftly.

  “Do it again!” asked Lara.

              After a while, finally Chanyeol got carried away and followed what Lara had been wanted. Slowly he increased his attack. Because Lara’s swift flying ability, Chanyeol didn’t hesitate to release his fire attack.

  Chanyeol knew more/less about the former Krusniks abilities because he’s close with Kris. He’s also one of the boys who supported the idea to train Lara’s power that can be useful to fight the Methuselah. Seeing Lara’s mermaid transformation yesterday made him worried and agreed not to continue the training. But, seeing Lara’s spirit and perseverance today made Chanyeol wanted to train Lara even better.

  Chanyeol decided to increase his attack even more. At the beggining he would only attack from one side. Now he attacks from different sides, while watching Lara’s reaction towards his attacks.

  Nonetheless, all the attacked were avoided by Lara swiftly. Chanyeol then motivated to attack more and unconsciously they had moved towards the swimming pool area besides the mansion.

  Chanyeol was then focused on Lara. He wouldn’t let his eyes off of Lara and followed Lara’s flying movement. Chanyeol attacked Lara from a lot of different sides again. Lara, trying to avoid was cornered and then dived into the swimming pool from her flyin position.

  Chanyeol then startled, unconsciously the fire that he controlled blocked by the water in the swimming pool and so he stopped his attack.

  Lara’s head appeared from inside the pool and she said, “Ah, your fire element can’t be used inside water huh?” she exclaimed. 

  Chanyeol could see that her wings were no longer emerged from behind her back, instead he saw a mermaid fin decorating her lower body part.

  “Lara..did you turn into mermaid again?” asked Chanyeol curiously.

  “Yeah, it’s amazing right?” she said with proud.

  “I was thinking can I directly turned my body when entering the water earlier. Turned out I succeeded.” added Lara.

  “You’re awesome!” responded Chanyeol.

  Lay who also saw it was mesmerized too by what Lara just did.

  “Don’t think I will stop just because of that.” exclaimed Chanyeol who was focused on the attack. Lara grinned and smiled. Then he directed his fire element towards Lara again.

  Lara tried to avoid it and swam away. The fire was yet again blocked by the water in the swimming pool. Then, Chanyeol tried to change the temperature in the swimming pool just what he did when they were swimming together and made the water temperature warmer. He intended to rise the water temperature so Lara could get out of water and wanted to see how she would do next. Before Chanyeol able to completely rose up the water temperature, Lara transformed again and swiftly flied into the sky.

  Chanyeol and Lay were amazed. The transformation was quick in compare to each attack.

  Lara then quickly turned around to face Chayeol and smiled brightly, feeling proud because not only she had succeeded to avoid Chanyeol’s attacks but also had succeeded to transform quickly.

  “Have you seen them outside?” asked Luhan who was inside Kris’ room.

  “Yeah, I can hear Chanyeol’s voices clearly.” answered Kris.

  “So, what do you think?” asked Luhan again.

  “Well, so far, I can see that her defense is prominent. With her transformation like yesterday, maybe we can focus on training her defense.” exclaimed Kris.

  “But, are you sure about this?” asked Kris again.

  “With the information I got from Kate this morning, I think this is the right decision. Meanwhile, I think she actually enjoys it. Take a look at it, yourself.” responded Luhan, gesturing towards Lara who was flying and avoided Chanyeol’s attack swiftly.
