Lara stepped out from Suho’s room, and let him continue doing his research.

  She walked through the hallway, went passed Chanyeol, Kai, Xiumin and Luhan’s room. Right when she had passed Luhan’s room, his bedroom door opened and Luhan appeared while calling Lara.

  “Lara..!” called Luhan.

  Lara turned to Luhan, then Luhan pulled her arms and took her inside his room.

  After closing the door, Luhan faced Lara while still holding her hands. He seemed nervous and sighed before saying anything.

  “Lara..” exclaimed Luhan, trying to start a conversation.

  Lara looked at Luhan, feeling confused why did Luhan suddenly act that way.

  “I want to apologize.” added Luhan.

  She still hadn’t realized Luhan’s real intention so she was still confused why did Luhan apologize to her.

  He hesitated but then he continue to say, “Maybe I’ve made you scared. You know...for kissing you so harshly at that time.” he said reluctantly, while scratching his head that didn’t itch at all. He had been waiting for a proper moment since that time to apologize to Lara.

  He noticed that Lara had been in Suho’s room earlier so he decided to wait and call Lara when she got out of Suho’s room.    

  ‘Oh, about that thing’ was the only words Luhan heard in Lara’s mind. But then, he couldn’t hear anything. Moreover, her face expression was flat.

  Lara then walked away from Luhan.

  “I don’t think I should forgive anything.” responded Lara while still showing her back at Luhan.

  Luhan started to feel nervous and worry when he heard it.

  “I don’t think I have the ability to give everything I have to see the boy who was so shy and timid became so much bold and brave like this?” she said again, turning her body and smiling mischiveously.

  Luhan smiled flatly, still wasn’t sure if Lara was okay with it.

  “I get it. You did it to try and awaken my power, right? Could you just do the normal thing? Always acted as the bad guy, was that your only tactic?” said Lara.

  Luhan sighed and relieved hearing what Lara said.     

  “I’m sorry. I didn’t plan it at all. I was just angry, seeing them attacked you at school.” stated Luhan.

  “Yeah, I’m okay now. So, it’s fine. You don’t have to worry.” responded Lara.

  ‘Thank god her memory has returned.’ Luhan said in his mind.

  ‘And..I’m sorry that you have to remember painful memories about King Charles and Queen Victoria.’ he added.

  “Hey, can I...kiss you? For real this time?” asked Luhan sincerely.

  “I haven’t get a chance to ask Lay to heal the bruise in my hand.” he added, trying to find excuse so Lara could agree to his request.  

  Lara saw the bruises and it still hadn’t healed.

  ‘Can I heal this bruises?’ asked Lara curiously in her mind.

  “Yeah, of course.” answered Luhan spontaneously.

  ‘Well, if my kisses can heal Luhan’s bruises, then...’ Lara took a step closer to Luhan. She agreed and said, “Okay.” while nodding.

  Then Luhan kissed her softly. A flash of blue light appeared on Luhan’s arm, he could feelt his power increasing.

  ‘I’m sorry I lied.’ Luhan said in his mind.

  Kisses or any affectionate skinship from Lara could only restored the boys’s energy, it couldn’t heal any wounds or bruises. Luhan then flawlessly covered his bruises arm to prevent Lara on checking it after that.

  After that, both of them looked at each other in the eyes. Then suddenly Lara laughed. Luhan felt confused at first but then smiled along.

  “Why? What is it? Something funny?” he asked confusedly.

  “I’m sorry, it’s just that you were so timid and shy. You were always hiding behind Claude’s shadow but then you turned into some bad guy and tried to kiss me.” she explained.

  He then laughed after hearing her explanation. He also felt that he had changed from who he used to be. Knowing his destiny as one of the boys who had supernatural power, he couldn’t help but to improve and train his power also to fulfill his promise to King Charles and Queen Victoria.

  “Lara..I know that you are worried about what you should do next. We can help you.” Luhan said.

  “I know that you are probably still in shock and surprised hearing Kate’s explanation earlier, but we really don’t have much time right now.” he added.

  ‘Kate...’ Luhan could hear Lara’s mind when he mentioning Kate.

  Lara bit her under lip. Lara had felt something off with Kate since the first time she could remember. She might didn’t have any memories about Kate because her memories were hidden but now even after her memories returns she can’t remember anything about her. Kate is no different than a stranger for her. Only because she was raised with her that she got to know her. Previously she felt that she couldn’t trust anyone, now that her memories has returned she intends to discuss it with Luhan. With Luhan’s ability, Lara thought that he might know something about it.

  Luhan unconsciously read Lara’s mind. Lara still hesitated.

  “What’s wrong?” asked Luhan gently.

  “Luhan..” Lara started.

  “I want to discuss something with you.”

  Hearing serious tone in Lara’s sentence, Luhan took her to sit on the sofa.

  “It’s about Kate.” exclaimed Lara again. She felt uncomfortable to discuss it but she needed to clear things up.

  “I know that she is the head caretaker for Clarence family. But I don’t remember having any memories about her before... It may have something to do with my memories being hidden, but even after it returns I can’t remember any memories about her.” then Lara paused for a moment.

  “Do you know something about Kate?” asked Lara hesitantly.

  “I understand why did you feel that way towards her and I think I know the reason.” replied Luhan.

  “Did you know that Kate is also come from EXO Planet?” asked Luhan.

  Lara surprised to hear that and replied, “What? Really? No, I didn’t know about it.”

  Luhan then continue his explanation.

  “Did we ever told you that we came from one sacred tree ‘Tree of Life’?” asked Luhan again.    
  “Oh yeah. That, I know. Lay told me that each generation, children with special power born to help maintain the balance of the world.” stated Lara.

  “That’s right. So, not all the people of EXO Planet have this special power..and Kate is actually one of the people who also owns special power like us.” exclaimed Luhan.

  Lara still couldn’t put off her surprised look. ‘What? She actually also owns a supernatural power?’ thought Lara in her mind.

  “So, what kind of power does she have?” asked Lara curiously.

  “Memory manipulation, and also doing things with super speed.” answered Luhan.

  “Do you remember that time they attacked you at school? Kate was the one who manipulated all the students and teachers memory who saw that attack. While her super speed, she usually used it to clean the mansion in a short time.” explained Luhan clearly.

  Lara nodded understood. Then she felt guilty of accusing Kate whereas Kate had been very helpful to her.

  “You don’t have to feel guilty, Lara. It’s normal to feel that way. Maybe she hid your memory about her on purpose so that you’d feel cautious and careful about people around you.” exclaimed Luhan.

  “Hey, let’s have breakfast! Don’t you feel hungry?” invited Luhan trying to wipe away Lara’s guilty towards Kate.

  “Well, okay.”

  They went together to the dining room. She felt quite reluctant to go there actually because she could see Kate anytime and added her guilty. But, thankfully Kate was nowhere to be seen and it made Lara relieved.

  After eating breakfast, they gathered in the family room.

  “Lara..” Kris started.  

  “Now that your Nanomachine Krusnik is active, we think the best thing you can do is to train it.” added Kris.       

  Now that Kris mentioned it, Lara could feel slowly the Krusnik’s presence inside her body. She did felt incredible power whe she activated her Krusnik at the first time. Feeling a huge stream of power made her felt

a leap of power. Her hidden memories were also returned. She felt anxious and scared that she wouldn’t be able to control the Krusnik that could take over her own body.

  Hearing what Kris said that she had to train and try to activate it again, she couldn’t imagine the horror she would go through that caused Lay fainted and almost died.

  “No.” responded Lara suddenly.

  But then she regret it and thought more rationally.
  “I’m sorry, I mean I can’t let myself to be controlled by the Krusnik Nanomachine again. I can’t imagine the same thing happened to Lay will repeat again!” added Lara after seeing Kris’s surprised face hearing her sudden response.

  “I know how you feel, Lara. But, we feel that is the only way to protect you. If you train the Krusnik Nanomachine, you can use your power that will be useful to fight the Methuselah.” exclaimed Luhan.

  “Don’t you remember what happened with Lay a few days ago?! I couldn’t control myself at all, it’s horrible!” stated Lara. She usually the type of person who will avoid conflict, but for some issues she will speak off her arguments and refuses to do things that will endanger the boy’s safety.

  “Yeah, but you were alone with Lay at that time and we weren’t there with you.” exclaimed Baekhyun, trying to give his opinion.

  “That’s right. If we came earlier, we might prevented you from being overtaken by your Krusnik Nanomachine!” added Chen, supporting Baekhyun’s opinion.

  “Furthermore, it was your very first time activating it. That’s why you couldn’t stop it. Now that you’ve done it before, you may control it better.” said Suho.

  Lara thought about Baekhyun’s, Chen’s, and Suho’s explanations. Maybe they were right, but she still didn’t want to admit the fact that she had to activate her Krusnik Nanomachine again.

  Lara debated with herself. Until Luhan interrupted inside her mind.

  ‘Lara, it’s okay. We believ you.’ he said.

  “But, what if one of you almost killed again because I can’t control it?” asked Lara worried.

  “Don’t worry, we will do our best to prevent that.” D.O said while smiling to comfort Lara.

  “Okay, then..” responded Lara after a long sigh.
