During her life it seemed that she could never run happily as she had just did and it made her quite tired. After taking a bath, she decided to go straight to bed before finally hearing someone playing the piano. She was curious and then went out of the room and headed toward the music room.

   There she found Lay was playing the piano. Without hesitation, she went into the music room and listened to his piano playing closer. Hearing Lay played the piano, made her want to add the beautiful piano melody with the violin melody. She then took his violin and played it in tune with Lay’s music.     Afterwards Lara put her violin, she then sat next to Lay. Lara then started pressing the keys of the piano and played a song while observing Lay beside her. Hearing the melody of the piano being played by Lara made Lay felt calm and comfortable that he closed his eyes and felt the melody deeper.

Upon opening his eyes, Lay watched Lara's face and saw the positive aura emitted by Lara while playing the piano.

   'Her fingers are so long and pretty. ' Lay thought to himself as he watched her hand.

   Unconsciously, Lay’s finger touched Lara’s while she still pressing the piano keys and made the piano stopped producing more melody. She was surprised, of course. But she gave up her hand that was being held by Lay gently and then looked at him with a smile.

   Seeing her, Lay was smiling still holding her hand. Lay then inserting his fingers in between Lara’s fingers and held it. The next second, Lara felt a strange feeling and made her heart flutter. She then decided to hold Lay’s hand as well.

   Lara began to press the piano keys again by using her right hand. Lay then followed her pressing the piano with his right hand and creating a harmonious melody. Lay was like being Lara’s left hand who was currently being held by him.

   "I do not know you are so good at playing the piano." Said Lara.

   "I think each of us has a special expertise in a particular field." Said Lay.

   Shortly after that Lara allowed Lay playing the piano again. Lay was no longer holding Lara’s hand so that he could more freely use both hands to play the piano. Meanwhile, Lara leaned her head on Lay’s shoulders.

   As if Lay could read Lara’s mind that Lara was getting tired and sleepy, Lay played a lullaby song. Lay decided to end his piano playing after one song and carried Lara who was already sleeping on his shoulder and took her to her bedroom.

   Lay enjoyed the journey taking Lara into her bedroom who was already sleeping in his arms. Seeing Lara’s sleeping face peacefully made Lay also in peace. It felt like Lay wanted to continue to embrace Lara so that he could always be with Lara, but it would not make Lara slept comfortably. Lay decided to put Lara in her bed and then covered her with blanket.

   After that, Lay stood still for a long time watching her sleeping. Confused as to what he should do, whether he should accompanied Lara to sleep or left her to rest. He did not want to leave her of course and was again raised an opposition in his heart because he did not want to be disrespectful to sleep in Lara’s bed.

   Then finally he decided to lie down on the farthest side of Lara’s bed and continued watching her sleeping.

   But, slowly, like a magnet, Lay approached Lara. He felt a strong pull of sensation so unconsciously his face was already close to Lara's face.

   Lay saw Lara's face. Long eyelashes, blushing cheeks, and lips that looked so soft. As if hypnotized, Lay intended to kiss her. When the distance was one centimeter away, he realized suddenly and eventually landed a kiss on the Lara’s forehead instead.

   In the end Lay was back lying on the farthest side of Lara’s bed and decided to turn a back on her, because he was worried that he would be hypnotized again. Lay then fell asleep in Lara’s bed.

   The sun finally rose and Lara woke up. She found herself hugging someone’s arm in her bed. After getting her consciousness back, it turned out she was hugging Lay’s arms who was already awoke.

   "Good morning ..." he said with a smile and showed his dimples.

   Seeing his smile was also made her smile automatically.

   "Good morning." She replied.

   "Sorry, I did not mean to be rude and arbitrarily slept in your bed." Lay said again.

   "Oh." She said and felt somewhat frivolous because she was still hugging Lay’s arm.

   "No, I'm sorry too that I arbitrarily hugging your arm. It happen--"

   "Just like that?" Said Lay, interrupting her.

   "Yeah..”

   "That's why I was also accidentally fell asleep on your side. Everything happened just like that." Said Lay.

"Then we're even..." said Lara stated that they no longer needed to worry about it.

   "I think it’s already started then..." said Lara again while waking up from the bed. Seeing the puzzled expression on Lay’s face, Lara continued her words.

   "The ‘bonding’ process. You're the first, right?" Asked Lara assuring.

   "Aah, yes you're right..." Lay said innocently and smiling. She could not take her eyes off of Lay when Lay was already smiling, especially when he showing his dimples. Just like a spell, made anyone who saw it smiled.

   "Then, what should we do today?" Asked Lay.

   "Hm...I also still do not know, though. What if we just do normal stuff?" Said Lara.

   "Okay, then. I’ll wait downstairs, okay?” said Lay, understood that Lara might want to wash her face and changed her clothes.

   After finished washing her face and changing clothes, Lara went downstairs. Lay was already waiting. They went to the dining room for breakfast. The situation in Lara's mansion was very quiet that day and made the atmosphere felt weird. Inversely proportional to yesterday’s situation where the 12 boys of EXO running back and forth in her mansion.

   "Where did everyone go...?" Muttered Lara curious.

   "Because today is my schedule to be with you so they all decided to give privacy to both of us. They are somewhere in the mansion." Said Lay.

   "Oh .." said Lara after hearing it.

   She would not think that the 12 guys from Planet EXO would do this far and let Lay and Lara alone. Seeing their reaction yesterday who didn’t seem could be apart with Lara even just for a second.

   "Well, let’s enjoy the food," said Lara then they both started to eat.

   “Lay, tell me how is it like on EXO Planet?” Lara said after a meal, took a stroll in the garden of her mansion with Lay.

   "It's different from here. There are no tall buildings, There are only wide fields, dense forests, rocks, and also areas that are still surrounded by nature." Lay said, looking at Lara.

   "The situation there is also greatly helped others to exercise with their powers. We live in a small castle built of rocks. Initially we were worried whether could we adjust ourselves in this world but fortunately we had a little time observing the situation here while still in the form of cat." Said Lay

   She was silent and only responded with a nod while hearing Lay’s explanations. Then they both decided to rest awhile and sat on a bench in the garden while continuing their conversation.

"The twelve of you seemed close. Are you guys brothers?" She asked again still curious about the origin of the 12 young men from this EXO Planet.

   "We were not born of the same mother, but we came from the same root." Said Lay

   "Root...?" Said Lara still not getting sufficient explanation.

   "Yes. As far as I know, the twelve of us were derived from the root of the sacred tree, the 'Tree of Life'. In each generation, a new tree is born and they also have the power like us to maintain the balance of the world." Said Lay

   "Are all the power that you have emerged from it? Can you choose the power that you desired?" She asked again.

   "No we can’t. As far as I know, we were born with this power. And I think this power relates to each of our personalities." Said Lay again.

   "Do you guys have any weaknesses? For example, if Suho who control the Water and Chanyeol who control the Fire. What if they fight with each other?" She asked seriously and looked a bit worried.

   "You do not need to worry. Our powers can not be used to injure our kinds. "Said Lay.

   She nodded, smiling and relieved.

   Seeing that there were no longer conversation’s left, Lay took the initiative to speak.

   "I do not know about the weakness of my powers but if physical weakness I guess I easily felt ticklish around my neck area. I realized it since I was in the form of cats." He said again. 

   "Ah, that's right! You were the cat that every time I on the neck is always turned around and looked struggled! So that was the reason? Even now does it still ticklish?" Asked Lara.

   "Yes, it does." Said Lay

   "Where exactly?" Asked Lara who then intended pranking on him a little bit.

   "At around this parts..." said Lay, pointing to his neck.

   Lara then slyly tried touching the part Lay showed her earlier. Lay did squirm a little and told her, "If you touch it, I guess I can still bear it. But if you're blowing my neck, I can faint feeling ticklish."

"Ah, really?" Lara said slyly. Suddenly, she approached Lay's neck and started to blow on Lay’s neck. Lay started to wiggle around and tried to stop Lara from blowing on his neck, but Lara didn't stop. Lay then fell to the right side because he felt ticklish, dragging Lara with him and making Lara fell on top of him.

   Suddenly their faces were so close, making them stare into each other's eyes. Then she felt it again. The bond that felt stronger when she was together with Lay.

   Lay, too, felt the same thing. He stayed there frozen, just staring into Lara's eyes for a while. Until Lara realized their position and abruptly got up.

   "Ah, I'm sorry for slyly blowing your neck." Lara said, embarrassed.

   "No, it's okay. I'd accept whatever you do to me" Lay said.

They decided to continue their walk in the garden. 

   "I noticed that all the flowers and plants here are dark colored. Were they purposely left that way?" Lay asked curiously.

   "Ah, yes. I actually never planted those plants. I guess those plants grow naturally. I never really concerned about that since my favorite color is black" Lara said.

   "Really?" Lay said, a little surprised.

   Now that Lay thought about it, all the dresses that Lara wore and the aura around Lara's mansion are indeed dark.

   'Is it possible that it has to do with Lara's power?' Lay wondered. 

They continued their walk around the garden inside Clarence family's mansion area.

   When dinner time came, everybody gathered around the dining room. The boys then asked about Lay and Lara's bond proggress, whether or not they feel closer than before.

   "Actually, I'm not really sure but I can feel my power increased at some moments when I'm close to Lara" Lay said.

   "How about you, Lara?" Suho asked curiously.

   "Ah... I'm not sure either." Lara said shyly. She didn't want to tell the others how hard her heart was pounding today, and maybe, she had improved her bond with Lay a little.

   When dinner was done, they all did their activities after they had helped Kate with the dishes.
