  The thirteen of them arrived in front of the mansion’s courtyard and rushed to get inside.

  Kate who at that time was tidying up around the mansion saw their arrival from the window. When she realized Lara’s situation who still unconscious at that time and being held by Lay, she shocked.

  “Oh my god, what happened?” exclaimed Kate who ran into Lara afterward.

  “Methuselah. They’ve started attacking.” answered Luhan cold.

  “What?! Is she okay? Why is she unconscious?” asked Kate worried.

  “She got attacked by them. But don’t worry, Lay healed her. She is still unconscious probably because the bump on her head earlier.” explained Xiumin calm.

  “Bump? Oh god...” grimaced Kate. Then she led the others and walked towards Lara’s bedroom.

  Lay put Lara down in her bed, helped by the others and covered her with blanket while moving her legs.

  Then Kate sat beside Lara, her expression was sad, worried, anxious. She then Lara’s face gently, “Princess, you’re okay right? You’ll be okay.” murmured Kate.

  “Kate..” Kris started to talk.

  “We’ve asked and threatened the vampire that attacked Lara. She said, the heir of Caine Luke Clarence will repeat the history. He will finish his father missions. Did Caine had a son?” asked Kris worried.

  “What?! Caine Luke Clarence?” responded Kate, as surprised as the other EXO guys the first time they heard that name.

  “Yes, did he had an heir?” asked Xiumin.

  “It’s impossible.” said Kate.

  “Like you’ve already acknowledged, King Charles didn’t get along very well with his brother, Caine. I don’t remember King Charles ever told me about Caine having an heir. The last battle at that time, he killed all of Caine’s follower, I’m sure no one’s left. But we didn’t know for sure about his personal life or maybe there were other followers..” explained Kate.

  “Very well, for the time being we should remain calm. Maybe this is just one of the trick to take Princess down.” responded Suho.

  Everyone nodded, signalling that they were agree with Suho’s assumptions.

  After a few more minutes Kate sat beside Lara, she excused herself to prepare lunch and to look for any information about the recent situation.

  “Let me know if the Princess awakes.” she asked.

  An hour had passed, the twelve boys from EXO planet started to get anxious waiting for Lara to awake.       

  “Lay hyung, can’t you use your power to wake her up?” asked Kai restless.

  “Lay can only heal injuries Kai, he can’t control Princess’s body.” said Suho, tried to calm Kai down.

  Seeing everyone’s anxious expressions, finally Lay tried to use his power around Lara’s head. Trying to find a way to transfer his energy inside Lara’s brain. Healing the invinsible injuries or reaching her deepest part of the brain and raising her brain activity so she would wake up and opened her eyes.

  After a few seconds, Lara started responding. Her eyelid moved and slowly she opened her eyes.

  The lighting in her room was quite dark, Lara blinked her eyes to get used to the obscured light.

  The twelve boys from EXO planet who had been waiting anxiously then reacted and watched over Lara cautiously.

  When she finally be able to adjust the light, she saw Chen sat on her right side, then Lay, Xiumin, DO, Chanyeol, Suho, Luhan. They gathered around. On her left side was Sehun, Kai, Tao, Baekhyun and Kris.

  “How are you feeling?” asked Chen gently.

  “You’re okay, right?” added Sehun anxious.   

  ‘How do I feel? Am I okay?’ Lara repeated their questions in her head.

  When she was about to answer, suddenly she remembered what just happened to her. How the monster scratched her body, strangled her neck and bumped her head.      

  Lara hugged herself as if she could still felt the scratched, then she held her neck and her head defensively, shocked with her own condition. Her body started shaking.

  Seeing that, Luhan who at first relieved because Lara finally awoke and seemed okay rushed to go outside of the room. He seemed fed up. Xiumin then went after him and tried to catch up with Luhan.

  “I’m...scared.” mumbled Lara slowly.

  “I..what was that thing..?” mumbled Lara again. Then suddenly her tears poured down in her cheeks.

  Lay reflexively hugged Lara and tried to transmitted his healing energy to calm Lara down.

  “Shuush. It’s okay, Lara. You’re alright now. It’s alright. Look..the wound is healed.” said Lay.

  ‘What happened? I’m so scared. Why is this happening to me?’ thought Lara in her mind.

  Lara then looked at her forearms, the scratched was indeed gone. Then she checked her neck and head.

  “Do you still feel pain anywhere?” asked Lay gently.

  Lara shook her head. Then suddenly she felt relieved and her tears poured down even more.

  ‘Why do you keep crying, Lara? Everything’s fine now!’ shouted Lara to herself, feeling upset because she couldn’t control herself and kept crying.

  Seeing Lara crying, Chen couldn’t help himself but to embrace her and tried to soothe Lara.

  “There, there. We’re here, you’re safe Lara.” exclaimed Chen.

  Lara leaned on Chen and finally hugged him tightly, as if by doing that it would soothe her fear and prevented her body from shaking furthermore.

  Suho then got out of the room to inform Kate that Lara had awaken. Kate briefly looked at Lara’s condition who was still in shock, then decided to meet her after she calmed down. She just gave Suho a glass of water to give it to Lara.

  “I’ll go and talk to her when she calms down.” said Kate.

  Suho nodded, “I understand. Thanks for the water.” responded Suho.

  Suho passed the glass of water to Tao then he passed it to Sehun who at that time located closer to Lara.

  Sehun Lara’s back gently, “Lara, here.. Drink some water you must be dehydrated.” said Sehun.

  Lara turned to Sehun, receiving the glass of water and drank it.

  The other boys were just gathered and watched over Lara quietly, not saying any words.

  After a few more minutes, Lara wiped her eyes.

  “Guys, thank you. I’m sorry for being a burden to all of you. But, I’m okay now.” said Lara, trying to smile.

  ‘And you think we will believe you just like that?’ responded Chanyeol in his mind, still worried about Lara’s condition.

  “What should we do?” asked Tao, offering help to Lara.

  “Can you guys explain to me what was the creature that attacked me at school earlier?” exclaimed Lara then.

  ‘No, no. Princess isn’t ready yet. She’s still in shock.’ thought Suho.

  “We will explain later, Lara. For now it’s better for you to get some rest, okay?” interrupted Suho.

  Lara didn’t answered, then Lara started to watch over the boys because she felt that two people was missing.

  ‘Where are Luhan and Xiumin?’ she thought. But when she was about to ask Luhan and Xiumin’s whereabout to the boys, she saw Kai’s face.

  “Oh my, Kai! Your face....what happened to you? Are you okay?” asked Lara worriedly.

  Kai then touched his face. He didn’t realize about the wound on his face until Lara reminded him. He was too focused and worried about Lara’s condition that he had forgotten about his wounds.

  ‘Oh, crap...I almost forgot that vampire managed to hurt me.’ thought Kai.

  After that, Lay approached Kai and healed his wounds right away.

  “Thanks, hyung.” responded Kai and Lay nodded.      

  “Are you guys hurt? Are you guys okay?” asked Lara worried.

  “No, you don’t have to worry. We’re okay Lara.” answered Baekhyun.

  “Now, you better get some rest. All of these things must be a shocked to you.” said Suho again.

  The others agreed with Suho and got out of the room afterwards. Before got out of the room, each of them whether patted or hug Lara to soothe her once more.  

  “Luhan!” called Xiumin.

  Luhan didn’t stop to respond Xiumin’s call. Xiumin went after him and tried to catch up with him. In no time, they arrived in the forest.

  Luhan then suddenly punched one of the tree, making the branch swayed and causing bruises in his arm.

  “Luhan!” called Xiumin again while holding Luhan’s bruised arm to stop him from punching the tree again.

  Because Xiumin handcuffed his hands, Luhan tried to kick the tree with his feet.

  Xiumin who couldn’t stand any Luhan’s  harsh behaviour anymore finally using his frost power to freeze Luhan’s arms and foot to prevent him from hurting himself. Xiumin also wanted to gain Luhan’s attention because he need to talk to Luhan about something.

  “Luhan!” shouted Xiumin.

  “Stop blaming yourself!” Xiumin said again.

  “I failed, Xiumin. I failed.” responded Luhan upset.

  “Look, it wasn’t your fault. We were all at fault. So don’t blame yourself!” exclaimed Xiumin.

  Luhan slumped down and sat near the tree.

  “Did you see Princess’s reaction? Her body was shaking and she was crying!” mumbled Luhan expressionless.

  Xiumin sighed, realized that nothing he could do to convince Luhan. He’d just waited a few minutes after Luhan had calmed down.

  ‘Do you think what the vampire say is true? That Caine’s heir is back and will repeat history?’ asked Xiumin, trying to talk telepathically with Luhan. ‘I’m not sure...’ replied Luhan finally.  

  ‘We still need to investigate whether it’s true or not. It could be a trap and they just wanted to kill Princess Lara.’ said Luhan again.

  ‘Do you think there is another way to tie our bond faster?’ Xiumin tried to ask Luhan’s opinion.

  ‘We could force her. Doing it will involve something she dislikes.’ replied Luhan.

  ‘Then it’s something that I won’t ever do then.’ mumbled Xiumin.

  ‘Xiumin, if Princess’s power awakes, we don’t know what will happen. We could be killed just like what Caine did before to the peoples at EXO Planet.’ thought Luhan to Xiumin.

  “Lu...you’re right. When that time come, what should we do?” mumbled Xiumin, breaking the silence.

  “That is a worthy sacrifice we should do. Gaining something that we desire but it will destroy ourselves. What a beautiful contradiction.” said Luhan.

  Xiumin startled after hearing Luhan’s replied.

  “Lu, promise me you won’t do something stupid...” warned Xiumin to Luhan. But Luhan didn’t answer and stayed quiet.
