Anyoung! This is only my second fic and I know I am working on my Is This Love fic and all but I can't help but want a supernatural fic! So this is a exo supernatural au. In this fic, exo has their powers and they are referred to as 'Tree of Life'

This is partly based off Mama's opening about the legend, and in the future I will probably make another fic like this cause I really love exo's powers. Anyways, please enjoy the fic and I hope you will comment and subscribe to this fic!

Characters

Kris [Wu Yifan]: Kris is often called a "cold guy" and often stays silent and tries to keep that image of a "cold city boy". In reality he is a sweet, caring, and rather silly guy once you get to know him. He is the first one to remember the events of the tragedy and is the second to try and change this fate. (The first being Tao) He doesn't hate his fellow 12 roots, but he is rather angry at them for letting Tao suffer through so many times of the tragedy.But, he still loves and cares for all of them, and understands how the tragedy is not their fault and he knows the true identity of their enemy that has been causing the roots their grief. Kris's power is flight, but it is not as if he can sprout wings and fly, but he can fly if his conscious said so. 

Tao [Huang Zitao]: Tao is a sensitive, cute and fluffy guy by personality, though you owuldn't think that by his many looks. He is rather childish, but not too naive and watch out for when you make this guy angry, because he is good in wushu and can be rather fearless when it comes to it. He is caring for his hyungs and he honestly wishes that the tragedy would end. Each time he resets everyone's fate after the tragedy in hopes that they will be able to overcome it. He only tells Kris about this troubles, and even asks him to promise him to fix it this time. Tao's power is time control, this he uses to try to save his fellow 12 roots from the tragedy. He is usually the first to remember the tragedy, but this time, Kris was the first to remember because of their promise.

Park Chanyeol: Chanyeol is a happy-go-lucky guy who always seems to be smiling. He is called the "happy virus" or te "reaction king" of the group. Eventhough Chanyeol may seem innocent, he can be mischievous and at times he can be polite. Chanyeol burned his parents alive when he found out about his power, and ever since he has been afraid of his power. He is afraid to hurt those he cares about, so he tries to keep his emotions intact and tries to not get moody or sad. Chanyeol's power is fire, and it can take form as a phoenix made of fire. Chanyeol was afraid to admit to his power, but after being accidentally discovered by Baekhyun when he was protecting the guy, he decided to use his power to protect and not hurt people.

Byun Baekhyun: He is a talkative energetic and loves to tease his friends and make jokes. He is rather carefree on the outside and he likes mocking his friends. At times he can be rather dramatic or what his friends refer to as "a diva". He seems like the type who likes the daytime but actually he hates it more than darkness. He used to think of himself as surrounded in darkness before he met his light, Chanyeol, who made his life fun and in the light. His root is light, he has the power to produce light from his hands. In the past tragedies, Baekhyun had died in Chanyeol's hands when he tried to save Chanyeol from turning mad, and in the end, Chanyeol kills himself in guilt of killing him. Baekhyun sees this after he dies due to Tao barely saving his soul by stopping his time.

Do Kyungsoo: Kyungsoo is a rather quiet, awkward boy, but to his friends he is motherly. He can be rather critical to people both physically and with words. He actually has been afraid to make contact with people cause he is afraid that they may break in his hands like glass. Kyungsoo's power is strength, and he has a lot of power. But, without his powers Kyungsoo is considered the weakest when it comes to actual fighting, but he know where to hit. Kyungsoo can be rather cruel and devious at times, as he threatens people most of the time and atually shows that he may not be kidding. He is called a "Satan in an Angel's suit".

Suho [Kim Joonmyun]: Suho is a kind student who is motherly like Kyungsoo but without the devil-ness. He is angelic, kind, sympathetic, and caring. But, don't get on his bad side or else your in big trouble! He can be rather arsh when he is angered, but most of the time he is very happy and easygoing. Suho's power is water, he can control water and even create it if he wished to. He can bend it to form shapes and throw it, Suho's water power can take form as a serpent. Suho is a bit overprotective of his maknaes and he can be both fatherly and motherly. He is especially protective of Lay (Yixing) and Tao; for Tao it is because Tao is like his son and for Lay.... Suho has no idea why! Overall, Suho is a very responsible person.

Zhang Yixing: You can usually find Yixing absent minded and quirky. He is and airhead for one thing, but he also is rather adorable with his love of cute things and unicorns to how expressionless his face is even when he tries to make an expression. Yixing can be a serious person when the time calls for it though. Yixing is the root with the power of healing, he can heal anything living: scars, bruises, etc. But he cannot change the fate of the dead by healing them and he cannot heal diseases like cancer. Yixing can't heal emotional pain, and when he heals someone, he sometimes can feel if the person is negative or positive. As he heals, he takes some of the negativity or positivity with him, causing him to have mixed emotions. Yixing can also read a person's aura and see what emotion they feel.

Kai [Kim Jongin]: Kai is a sweetie and he is a very energetic and caring maknae. He is a bit mischievous and polite, but when he dances he is more open and happy. Kai is in the dance club at school and he is one of the top dancers. Kai is also known to be a playboy, but that is only a rumor and is untrue. It seems some girl he rejected spreaded the rumor to get back at him, but he still managed to get close to the one he has been crushing on (Kyungsoo). Kai's power is teleportation, he can do as is power states. In the tragedy, Kai stayed neautral in the dispute of his friends, and he hated it, he regretted it. Actually when Kyungsoo died he wanted to die himself, but he was stopped by Kris and insstead he stayed and watched as Tao changed the fates again and again. He is the second to remember the tragedy in the current timeline.

Oh Sehun: Sehun acts as an expressionless, apatetic guy, but when he is with his friends, he is a silly and sly goof. He is realy caring for his hyungs as the maknae in the group and he can be understanding towards his best friend Kai. Sehun is one who can read situations and he is the type to avoid people. Luhan opened up Sehun's heart to the rest of the group (he already opened up to Kai). Sehun's power is wind, he can control wind and even create them. When he is really angry, he can make a tornado or hurricane. In all the tragedies, Sehun commits suicide after finding Luhan had killed himself.

Xiumin [Kim Minseok]: Xiumin is a rather quiet and sweet boy who has a remarkable baby face that makes him look like the maknae of the group when he is actually te oldest, Xiumin is a shy guy but he can be rather straightforward about his feelings. Xiumin is very caring towards his friends as the oldest, and he can't stand it when the group has arguements. Xiumin has the power of frost, he can freeze anything and can create snow by lowering the temperature. Physically, Xiumin is the strongest in the group, beating even Tao with his martial arts in strength. Xiumin's part in the tragedy is when he finds that Suho had drowned Kyungsoo, his emotions took over and he froze him, but as Chen was trying to stop him, Chen also froze to death. After realizing his mistake, he freezes himself as he hold Chen into is chest. 

Chen [Kim Jongdae]: Chen is a troll, he is calculative, and smarter than he seems. Chen is a daring rist taker who likes to talk a lot along with Baekhyun and Chanyeol, but he likes pulling pranks a lot too. Though Chen likes to troll others, he is also very caring and protective over his friends especially Xiumin. Chen's power is Lightning, he can shoot bolts from his hands and even summon lightening/thunder from the sky. His power can also take form as a scorpion, but of course it costs a lot of energy. In the tragedy, Chen always try to calm down Xiumin after he freezes Suho, and in the end ends up freezing to death himself. Though, Tao stopped his fate last moment so he was able to see the moment where Xiumin hugs him as he freezes himself to death too. Chen swore that he would not let it end like this again.

Luhan [Lu Han]: Luhan is a cute doe-eyed boy that looks like a dear. Luhan's outer appearance seems so fluffy and innocent, he seems so cute and gentle. But actually, Luhan is a very manly guy who can be serious when he needs to, he is bashful and a bit bold. Luhan is a very cheerful person, and he is energetic and passionate about sports. Luhan's power is telekinesis, which means he can move object without touching it and can bend them if he wanted to. He also can read people's mind if he concentrates but only on one person at a time. In the events of the tragedy, Luhan jumps from a cliff but when he thought he had finally escaped he found himself floating in the air as a spirit and that Tao had stopped is time. He then sees Sehun run out to his body and when Sehun killed himself as he intertwined his body with is own. He then wished for another chance to prevent Sehun's death. 

*Note: When Tao stopped their souls time in the past, he only stopped it for a brief time, to let them see what was to happen. But because he does not have an infinite amount of power he cannot old all their souls' time at once.
