Author's POV

"Arghhhh damn, what the hell was he thinking, ugh," L kept on cursing on his way to nowhere. He paid no attention at all to where he was going so as the result, he bumped into someone. Luckily none of them fell down, L quickly regained his right mind and apologized right away

"I am so sorry," he apologized and bowed

"Hyung!" a cheerful voice suddenly called out to him. He lifted his head, to find little Daehyun and his mom in front of him. So they were the ones who he bumped into just now

"Oh, Daehyun-ah. Sorry hyung did not see you earlier. Sorry Mrs.Jung," he apologized once again. Mrs.Jung smiled while Daehyun pulled his uniform top and said

"Hyung where is Aerin noona?" asked him while pouting. Mrs.Jung quickly pulled that little boy toward her and said to L

"Sorry for it, Daehyun wanted to play with the two of you so much," L smiled and said

"It's okay, Mrs.Jung," and he squatted down to match his height with Daehyun

"Noona is already at home, Daehyun-ah. Let's meet her next time," he said

"You promise?" said Daehyun while offering his pinky. L accepted his offer and they made a promise. L stood up again afterwards

"What's your name again, sorry I forgot about it," asked Mrs.Jung awkwardly

"It's Kim Myungsoo, Mrs.Jung," said L. For a moment, Mrs.Jung looked a little surprised but she quickly shrug it off and said

"Ah, Myungsoo-ssi. This may sounds inappropiate for me to ask, but by any chance, are you having a bad day?" asked her. L looked surprised at her deduction which was right and he said

"Is that obvious, Mrs.Jung?" he asked back

"Not really, but I just can see it from your eyes, did you get into a fight with Aerin-ssi?" L shook his head and said

"No, not with her," 

"Then it must be a family matter, oh sorry, I must be so impolite to ask you about it," she said awkwardly again. L was silent for a moment. For him, it was really weird for a stranger to ask something so personal like that, and with his usual self, he would just ignore them coldly but strangely this time, he did not mind at all. Something about Mrs.Jung felt so sincere to him
