Your POV

You woke up with a new resolution in your mind. Woohyun gave you a light yesterday, and you promised yourself you would not disappoint him

"Do your best, Han Aerin, hwaiting!" you cheered for yourself and then went to the bathroom to get prepared for school

You were a little disappointed when you got a message from L, saying that he wouldn't come to school today because of something. You sighed, it was not like you could do anything for it. You also did not ask why, thinking that he might be in a bad mood, so you just left him like that and decided to just ask him later after school. You went downstair, only to find Jongkook and his healthy breakfast. Your parents were away again for some bussiness, so you were left alone with him again. Jongkook saw you and asked

"Where is your boyfriend?" he asked. You sighed again, although you expected the question already. You decided to tell the truth to him

"He said he won't be coming to school today. Oppa, can I trust you with a secret?" you also decided to tell him the truth between your relationship. Jongkook was confused at first but he nodded and said

"Sure, I am your favorite oppa, after all," he said, boasting himself. You smiled and began telling him the real story

"Actually, I, no, we are not actually dating. You know, it was just like helping each other. The Jung brothers are back, oppa," Jongkook widened his very small eyes in shock but actually calmed himself in instance and asked

"You mean the neighbor who has two brothers, you liked the older and the younger liked you?" you nodded but realized something and immediately asked

"You also knew that Hoseok liked me???" you asked, not believing the fact that only you did not know about it. Jongkook nodded

"That was obvious tho, when you said also, you mean someone also told you that they knew Hoseok liked you?" he asked you. You nodded

"Yeah, L also told me that yesterday," 

"See? You are really clueless, anyway, what's with the fake relationship? You guys should just date for real," he said lightly and ate his breakfast again. You picked up two slices of bread and spread them with jam while saying

"I don't know, I like him but I don't know about his feeling. Maybe it's just an unrequited love," you tried to not get your hopes high although Woohyun told you that L also likes you in his opinion, but you don't want to disappoint yourself. Jongkook suddenly laughed that made you confused. After calming himself, he explained. You listened to him while munching on your bread

"Just trust me, that guy likes you, now get ready for school, I will take you there,"

Author's POV

Thanks to Jongkook, Aerin didn't have to walk to school today. School felt rather empty because L was absent. Besides, Aerin was afraid that his fangirls would go after her again today, so as a prevention, she stucked herself near minseul all day until the latter was annoyed

"Where the is your boyfriend? Really?" she asked Aerin when they were in the hideout with Eunji and Inguk. The suspect could only smile as an apologize

"And since when are you afraid of other girls?" asked Ing
