Author's POV

After they agreed to 'date', L took Aerin to his house. As usual, that huge mansion is empty, except for the servants and butlers. L told her to wait in his room while he went out to grab some food. Aerin was sitting obediently on the edge of the sofa when her eyes caught something interesting. On the coffee table next to the sofa, there was a small photo frame with a young lady and a little boy picture in it. Aerin looked at it intensely. She recognized the young boy as L, which was really obvious due to his stare and face features. Besides him, stood a young and beautiful lady, holding his shouders. They had very wide smiles on their face, Unconsciously, Aerin smiled too when she saw their smiles. Just then, the door opened, revealing L with two cups of instant ramen. He approached her after putting the ramen on another coffee table.

"What are you smiling and looking at, Aepooh?" he asked. Aerin snapped back to reality and turned to him

"When did you arrive?" she asked him back without answering his question just now

"Just now, you were too busy to even notice the door was opened? I will not be surprised if one day you were killed in your own house -_-" 

"Hey be a little nice to me, will you? How dare you say something that bad to me," she sulked to him

"Okay, okay. I am sorry jagiya~~" he said, smiling

"Quit with the jagiya thing -_- we are not in public," Aerin was once again trying to hide embarassement. L then gave her a cup of ramen while he ate the other one after sitting next to her. They ate in silent until Aerin started speaking

"I was looking at your picture with a young lady, this one," Aerin said to L while pointing at the picture. L turned his head to the picture and then he said

"Oh, that's my mother, beautiful isn't she?" he said. Aerin nodded

"Why do you think I am handsome? That's because I took after my mother," L boasted proudly

"Yeah, and I bet her personality is also nice. Too bad you don't take after her in personality,"

"Yah I am the nic
