Author's POV

The morning sun once again appeared, its light shine through every open window, including the windows in the Han's house. Despite the strong sunlight and some noises from downstairs, Aerin insisted on sleeping because she had no intention to wake up at all. But her intention was just a dream for her as she heard knocks on her door

"Wake up, Aerin-ah," it was her mother's voice. Aerin quickly rose from her bed as she did not remember her mother coming home. 'They must be home yesterday night,' she thought as she lazily stood up and opened the door, to see her mother behind it

"Quickly take a bath, your boyfriend is downstairs to pick you up," her mother said. Aerin, who was still half asleep could only nod at the moment but at the next moment, she was completely awake

"My WHAT???" she asked her mother, unbelievingly

"Don't play dumb. I said your BOYFRIEND. Now you can just take a bath first and explain to me the whole story later," her mother said while leaving her room. Before  her mother went far, she turned back to see Aerin and said

"You also owe an explanation to your dad, see you after bath!" and with that, she left Aerin. Aerin could only stood froze on her standing spot. 'God, I am screwed,' Aerin thought

After taking a quick but clean bath and got ready for school, Aerin went downstairs to see his father and L having a conversation in the living room while her mother prepared breakfast. Her cousin was also in the living room but he was not involved in the conversation. Aerin approached her father and said

 "Good morning dad, did you just come home last night?" she asked, trying not be awkward

"Yeah, we did. And seems like you have got yourself a company while we were away," he said, reffering to L. Aerin rubbed her not-itchy-back-neck awkwardly. L, being a good boyfriend he is, realized that she was speechless, said

"I am sorry for not introducing myself earlier Mr.Han," he said and bowed. Meanwhile at the back, Jongkook could only laugh at them

"Oh it's totally not your fault. We were away for a long time. We should be thankful that you even came here to pick my daughter up. Please take care of my super childish Han Aerin okay?" her father said

"Appa!" Aerin whined because even her father called her childish. Jongkook laughed even harder now

"Don't worry I am an expert Mr.Han," L said, boasting himself while trying to look as polite as ever. Aerin's father nodded satisfiedly and turned to the still-laughing-loud-Jongkook
