Your POV

Sitting on the passenger side of L's car, you could only watch him speed through the road in concern. Yes concern, after receiving the call from before, your date ended just like that and at this moment, you were on your way to somewhere you don't know. You did not bother to ask him for your own curiousity, you believe that he would tell you if he wanted so for now, you will just accompany him in silence. When you met your first traffic light after some time, you could hear him sigh and as you turned your face to him, you met eyes with him.

"Sorry," was the first thing he said. And you only sat there, looking into his eyes in confusion. Why did he apologize when he did nothing wrong at all. In the end, you smiled at him and said

"You did nothing wrong," you said, trying to reassure him. He sighed again and looked down before started speaking again

"This is really urgent, so I am sorry we had to end our date like this and drag you all the wa-" you quickly cut him because you saw the light turned yellow and it was going to be green soon

"I said you did nothing wrong, Kim Myungsoo, so stop apologizing and drive, the light has turned green," Myungsoo turned his attention back to the road and drive forward, leaving the conversation behind. You stared at him intensely, worried because he had not yet tell you the matter. The next thing happened was now the two of you were in front of an ash house. 'This is the important thing?' you were surprised because the bad news was that someone important to him died, but who could it be? You were pretty sure that his mother was alive all along, so that couldn't be her right? When you were too busy thinking to yourself, you arrived in front of one of the vase there. You saw a man standing next to it accompanied by a woman, which you suspected to be L's father and stepmother. They saw the two of you so you immediately bowed to them, the man ignored you as he didn't saw it and started speaking to L while the woman smiled to you. You couldn't help but felt rejected at his action, but you kept it to yourself.

"This has to be a joke, right?" you heard L speaking
