Ding Daeng Dong Daeng~

The lessons were finally over. The students started to march out from the class, except for Aerin. She had detention and she had to clean the classroom. She looked around to find no one in the class beside her. She sighed and started doing the chores. L was supposed to be there too but she had no guts to talk to him. He had some kind of dark aura around him, so she thought it was the best for her to just shut . 

"Let's start!" she cheered herself and started tidying the chairs. She lifted the chairs to the desk one by one and then she picked up a bucket of water and wet clothes. Then she took the stairs she prepared before so she could clean the windows in higher places,but it was still not tall enough for her. She extended her hand as long as she could in order to reach the window

"Why is it so high?" she mumbled, still trying to wipe the window. She suddenly lost her balance and started to fall to the side. 'Oh crap,' she thought while shutting her eyes close, getting ready to feel the impact. Time clicked and she did not feel any harm on her body part. Instead, she felt like she was floating in the air. She slowly opened her eyes and found out that someone caught her before she could touch the floor and the certain someone is none other than L. Due to surpriseness, Aerin backed off and it almost made herself fell.

"Ya! How can you back off and almost made yourself fall again when I just saved your life?!" L overreacted while putting her down. Aerin did not answer him with words and instead, her face turned bright red

"S-sorry, I just did not expect you to be here," she finally managed to answer, even though she stuttered

"Well that's my fault, I forgot the detention, but it's all thanks to me you did not get any harm, did you?" L said proudly

"Y-yeah, t-thanks to you," Aerin said and she turned around to avoid him seeing her blushing face. Luckily, he was dense enough not to realize it. Aerin started to climb the stair again but L stopped her

"Let me do this, you can clean the boards," he said. Aerin nodded and gave the wet clothes to him while she left to clean the boards. They worked in silence and thanks to L coming back, they finished the detention earlier than Aerin expected. After double checking their job, Aerin and L left the class, walking side by side. Once they stepped out from the school's gate, Aerin started doing some celebratory dance

"We are the champion, my friend~~" she sang and danced. L looked at her and thought to himself, 'How can someone be cheerful and had energy left to dance after a long and tiring detention? This girl is totally something,' 

"Let's go, Pooh?" he said. Aerin turned
