"Are you being serious right now, Mr.Kim?" L who was still in his uniform sat on the couch, looking at his father unbelievingly. He was out of breath due to some running he did before arriving at. On the other hand, Mr.Kim was sitting comfortably in front of him while sipping on his coffee. Then he put his cup on the table and calmly said

"Yes, I am. I don't have any idea that you will come straight home when I told you that I had something important to discuss regarding my health," L sighed when he heard his father said that 

"You really really lied about that? About you having a sickness?" he asked once again

"Not really. I may suffer one if you refuse the favor I am about to ask you right now," he said while making a serious face out of the sudden

"Fine, what kind of favor I can do for you?" L said, giving up his intention to argue further because he was already out of breath. Mr.Kim's lips turned into a little smile as he pulled out a photo and a piece of paper from his shirt's pocket, put it on the table, and dragged it to L's side of table

"This is Mr.Park's daughter, the CEO of the company we are going to have an agreement with. We are going to meet them tonight at the place I wrote on the paper," he said while smiling. L did not bother to pick the photo and the paper up and instead, he only stared at his father disbelievingly. His father realized his gaze and looked back at him, still smiling. Then the atmosphere went intense and awkward. L's stepmother suddenly stepped into the scene, which was fortunate since L was about to explode at any moment right now. Her eyes caught the photo and the paper and she lightly asked

"Who is she, darling?" asked her to Mr.Kim

"Mr.Park's daughter, isn't she beautiful?" Mr.Kim answered his wife, still smiling. L was still looking at him with both disbelieving and angry stare

"Yes, she is. But why is her picbadture here, in front of Myungsoo?" she asked him again. Before he could answer, L could not contain his anger anymore as he said

"Sorry, Mr.Kim. But I don't think I can do this favor for you," he said while standing up. Mr.Kim just ignored him and answered his wife instead

"Don't you think she will match well with Myungsoo?" he said, unaffected with L's words at all

"Well, but I think his girlfriend matches him better. You know, this girl looks cold. Your Myungsoo also looks cold. He need someone warm, like Han Aerin-ssi," his wife said. L was a little surprised at her because she boldly defended him without getting afraid of Mr.Kim

"No, Myungsoo needs someone with good background. Anything else will be taken care later, that's what all matters," and that's it, it was L's limit

"Listen to me, father. I let you do anything you want, everything. I did not ask for your attention when I was little. I did not bother you about finding mother when you told me to. I did litterally everything you said before. I even gave up my overseas study because you told me to stay here, but please, I beg you, don't bother finding me a girl. I will not listen to you from now on, not anymore. You can do anything to destroy me, but I am going to defend those who are precious to me. Now, if you excuse me," L picked up his bag and walked away. Mr.Kim stood up and shouted in anger

"Kim Myungsoo, I do all of this for your sake, you ungrateful bastard," his wife ran toward his side and hold him from catching up with L. L stopped in his track and without turning his back, said

"No, Mr.Kim. It was all for YOUR SAKE. You know, I did not do anything when you brought your new wife to our house. I did not complaint. I did not do anything bad to her. Even though I used to think that she was the one who made me like this,
