This chapter will be just some kind of filler since I haven't got the right feeling to go with the plot. It felt so lame to me so, I am sorry and please be patient and wait for me TwT 

Author's POV

Aerin and L were now sitting on L's car's seat in silence. After a little 'talk' with L's father, they ran away from the scene, leaving his father and stepmother behind just like that. L did not utter any word since they arrive, and Aerin did not bother to ask him because she knew he needed to calm down first. Mr.Kim words echoed through her mind million times and stabbed her heart again and again, but she knew it was not the right time for her to think about that. So she gathered her courage, took a deep breath and said

"Are you okay?" she asked him. L lifted his head and turned to face her, with an expression she haven't seen before. Usually, he would be expressionless or annoyed or having fun teasing her or angry, but not this time, it seemed lifeless and hopeless. 'Why do you even ask, Han Aerin? He obviously isn't okay,' she blamed herself for asking such an idiot qreally uestion with an obvious answer. But still, she looked at him, waiting for his answer.Surprisingly, L smiled and ruffled her hair

"Sure, I am Kim Myungsoo," he said proudly. In normal circumstances, she would just scoff at him for being so full of himself but at the moment, she looked at him seriously and said

"Tha't a relief, but you don't have to lie in front of me, I won't laugh, really," 

"Well, you asked when you already knew the answer,"

"Sorry, I know it was a stupid question," she said and looked down

"Don't worry that much, I should have know that this would happen and have accepted the truth years ago, but still, I can't help but cry, I miss her very much," he said, trying to smile when tears were already forming in his eyes. Aerin reflexly grabbed a tissue and wipe his tears

"Yah, stop crying. You make me want to cry too," she said while wiping his tears. Tears also forms in her eyes. L reached out his hand and wiped her tears

"Okay, I'm sorry," they suddenly realized that their face were really close. Aerin instantly blushed as her heart jumped crazily. She went back to her original position and then the atmosphere was awkward

"Don't mind my father's words," L suddenly said. Aerin was once again strucked by the words that were playing on her mind before and she did not answer him. L sighed then reached for her hands and held them tightly in his own

"Look at me, Han Aerin," she was surprised at his action that she looked at him immediately
